Yea, they really are. I think they only agreed to send me the panel cuz I owned the controller already out of my own pocket, but they did provide the panel for the review. It really is the best 200w panel you can buy I think. And their controllers are great too with built-in cold temp protection. I am lucky to live in an area where I can buy huge 300w-400w lightly used panels for dirt cheap locally, but most people are not that lucky, so I think these would be the best panel for anyone who needs to have panels shipped. I have a mashup of about 10 different panels outside and this one is the clear winner, but it 'doesn't play well with others' because of it's odd volt/amp ratings are not close to any of my other 200w panels... So if someone goes with these and wants to build a larger system, they really need to go all-in with um and use the same panels. But, being a big brand like BougeRV you can rest assured they will be making these same ones for many years so you can expand down the road without worrying if you will be able to get more of the same ones. Thats my problem with buying used panels... They always seem to have different ones all the time, so buying used you need to buy as many as you need for your whole array and maybe have a couple extra on hand just in case one gets damaged down the road or whatever.
@@enigmascape Maybe I should do a review on the 30amp pwn I bought so they will help me out with a panel. The did reach out to me and I thought they were going to give me 200 flexible panel then for no reason they just ghosted me.
It's a rigid but foldable "suitcase" type panel from a company called Phase 2 Energy, but I don't think they make it anymore. I went to grab the link for it for you from my order history and that link now goes to their power station instead. It was expensive tho, like $399 but it's because it's foldable with a stand and everything.
If you guys want a place to spend time off grid, I have property in Concho you could stay at. Still setting the property up, i.e. solar, but the price is right. Let me know.
Wow, what a kind offer! I intend to only ever move this rig one more time and its onto my own property when I get it, and probably going to hire someone with a more powerful truck than mine to do that if there is any type of hill to get it there because my truck is pretty guttless.
it makes you wonder what would happen if you had some very directional mirror like surface surrounding the panel. Like if the panel was sitting in the center of a convex parabola. Like they used to have in the old days for people sunning their faces. Something to try.

Not a bad panel for the size. Having it dual sided definitely is a plus. Looking forward to your next video.
I have a 100/30 victron mppt how can I use the 24v solar panels? Or should I stick with 12v panels?
Please teach us how to connect different panels to make a single system someday. Ive got 60 panels but they're all different...lol 😊..
Thanks ❤❤
Thanks, I do plan to do that sometime in the near future because I have a bunch of different sized ones as well, lol.
Just came over! Saw you and Amelia on Mike's channel.

@@Step-n-Wolf Welcome, appreciate all the support!
Just saw you on Mike's channel too.
I subbed and will check you out.
Is this the 12v or 24v 200w panel? (The 24v has more volts and less amps and the 12v has less volts and more amps). Thanks.
This is the 24v version.
Wow BoughRV are picky about giving away product, nice panels you got there

cant wait to grab these
Yea, I'm pretty impressed with it. They have a 16bb 400w one too that I'd love to get my hands on to try out.
You mentioned a 200 watt panel you consistently get 205 out of - what brand is that one? Thanks!
