- I would love for these 4 dinosaurs to get added to Jurassic World Evolution 2, so I came up with a very fictional Late Jurassic Species pack wishlist.
Please help me out by liking/commenting/subscribing! It would mean the (Jurassic) World to me!

Sorry about the rant at the end lol
Anyway, what's the four Jurassic species YOU want to see added to the game?
I would really like some new small species like the size of the compys. They should be like scavengers with new animations and features.
I don’t know to be honest
I want the Guanlong, pscattosaurus, ramphorous and argentinosaurus
Tarbosaurus from JWCCHA
We need a dlc with hybryds and maybe a feature where we can meke a custom hybrid
We could definitely use an overhaul for the lagoons. An underwater tour or walkways would be great. Even some compatible fish species for the lagoon, like sharks or Xyphactinus(sp?). As for more Jurassic species, some more Sauropods would be good. Also, the Archeopteryx would a nice touch for possibly hanging around the trees with herbivorous dinosaurs.
I think we definitely need NATURAL LAGOOONS. Tell me, who doesn’t want that? It would be so cool to do that when you’re building an island with a lagoon on it, and instead of an enclosure for land animals you can PUT A UNDERWATER OCEAN LAGOON LAGOON
We need more hybrids. And maybe a Triassic Pack. Because we only have 3. Herrerasaurus, Coelophysis. And sorta Lystrosaurus. The two Triassic dinos we need is Gorjirasaurus and Plateosaurus.
And it says Incthyosaurus on the JWE2'S database that it is from the Triassic. Just a mistake...
Edit: Thx for 100 likes.
bro your reading my mind
Ichthyosaurus is from the Jurassic.
Depends on what species the Lystrosaurus in game is.
How about Carboniferous. Or Devonian. Or Silurian. Or Ordovician. Or Cambrian
Dilophosaurus lived in the late Triassic too
If there was a Triassic Pack, I would have it contain Eoraptor, Plateosaurus, Silesaurus, and Postosuchus. Each of them offers something unique
• Eoraptor is a very small theropod with quills on its head and tail.
• Plateosaurus is the first Prosauropod in the game
• Silesaurus is the first Silesaurid in the game. It also has quill-like proto feathers on its back.
• Postosuchus is the first terrestrial animal that isn't either a Dinosaur or a Synapsid. (Silesaurus doesn't count, as it might have been an ornithischian.)
For me, new buildings are what I think are most important. I feel like new attractions and building eras would be amazing.
Please yes!!
agree
What we need is
P l a n t s
Me personally, I dont really even like the buildings, I just want more Dino’s
@@demosuarusyt3227 i agree a little
I would do this exact pack but replace Nanosaurus with Camptosaurus. It’s a pretty iconic species from the Morrison that i’m sure Frontier and the community will have some fun with.
I agree, Camptosaurus embodies the cow sized basal ornithopod that was among the most prolific dinosaur archetype of the Jurassic- early Cretaceous but doesn’t really exist in game
I feel like it would’ve been cool if they added a Michael Crichton, Jurassic Park book pack with a size large Dylophosaurus, and a red Rex and etc.
Plus the attractions from the novel
I would LOVE to see a permian species pack. To kinda remind us of the species that started the modern dinosaurs to come in future eras
I am nominating the Shunosaurus. Another smallish sauropod that could be potentially compatible with the Mamenchisaurus to help add more possible cohabitation combinations outside of Sandbox.
Plus it's tail club sets it apart from other sauropods and serves as a realistic version of ankylodocus
i always mix up shunosaurus with shonisaurus
I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
Kinda wanna see ur roster for a marine DLC. Kinda wanna see what Frontier would even add for one, too, they really don't seem to know what to do with aquatic animals to make them feel unique.
As for a late jurassic DLC, I would go for Barosaurus, Dacentrurus, some longtail Pterosaur and Camptosaurus, I guess. Not as a wishlist, but as a like, the genera I would expect Frontier to add.
I would like to see a Triassic pack that has Plateosaurus, Postosuchus, Desmastosuchus and Shonisaurus or a tyrannosaur pack that has Guanlong, Dryptosaurus, Teratophoneus, Daspletosaurus, and maybe maybe new skins for the T.Rex like the Red Kenner Rex or different colors for the prologue variant.
One thing that would be really cool would be if Frontier announced an "aquatic reptiles pack" and also put aquatic attractions for the lagoons, that would be very interesting
Ya happy now?
Yes to Archaeoptryx, one of my favorites! Also, agree that we need smaller enclosures. It's just silly to put the tiniest dinosaurs in these large paddocks!
In terms of what I'd like to see added: actual bridges and a balloon ride! The balloon ride was my favorite attraction from Operation Genesis and I'm sad it's not in the game.
This pack sounds incredible and I'd love to see these species added. Also, an idea that immediately came to mind to make Nanosaurus stand out from Dryosaurus would be to take more inspiration from the novel and make the Nanosaurus climb trees, almost like monkeys. They might need to add climable trees in a coinsiding free update for them but still, that'd be so cool!
I want camptosaurus to. I don't believe climbing trees is possible
I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
There’s actually two large carnivores from the Jurassic period I’d like to see in the game and that’s saurophaganax and sinraptor both are pretty underrated dinosaurs and have rarely appeared in dinosaur media with the only notable appearance of the two being from the 2011 dinosaur mini series planet dinosaur and they’d both actually fit into this late Jurassic theme of the concept pack as both lived during the late Jurassic period and frontier have been adding in more lesser known dinosaurs in their past dlc packs so they both actually have a chance to appear in the future (although sinraptor would fit more with a Jurassic Asian pact)
I love the idea of era packs and hope we get a Jurassic Pack. I would love to see Camptosaurus, Ramphyrynchus, and Shunosaurus, but I like your picks a lot as well.
I’m still really really hoping for a Triassic Pack. We need prosauropod representation and I would also love a Raisuchian and maybe a Desmatosuchus as well. think the Corsican island map would be a perfect map to evoke the arid Triassic landscape, and can you imagine how good a pod of Shonisaurs would look in the natural lagoon 🤌
In August I’m going on an expedition with a European team excavating a giant Triassic Icthyosaur from a mountain top, and this has instigated a massive surge of personal interest in the period, so I do admit to being a bit biased.
I'd love to hear your ideas for Early Jurassic and Triassic packs.
Triassic especially, since Ethan could be an opportunity to introduce more non-Dinosaurs. Give us a bunch of basal archosaurs, Rauisuchians/other land crocs, and non-mammal synapsids.
Me too
The lagoons really need some work. Perhaps some kind of glas walls, like in planet zoo, so the lagoons can be used as a living backdrop in guest areas.
A fine idea for a Late Jurassic Pack. I'd love to see more similar ideas like this for the other periods, maybe an Early Jurassic Pack. I would replace the Yangchuanosaurus and Archaeopteryx with Rhamphorhynchus and Ophthalmosaurus. Rhamphorhynchus feels like it should be in the game already and Ophthalmosaurus brings in a new ichthyosaur, a little bigger than the Ichthyosaurus and maybe its eyes can glow. Other than that, the Torvosaurus and Nanosaurus are really good choices.
I really just want Tarbosaurus at this point, besides being in the canon we haven’t had a truly large carnivore added since acrocanthosaurus in the first game not to the mention being amazing for asian themed parks
A small aviary would be nice, as well as changes to the lagoon. I never decorate the floor of them primarily because its hard, and the water is so murky it hardly feels like theres a point. A foliage type paint tool for the floor would be welcome, maybe an attraction like one of those cages you can go in to swim with sharks.
As for Jurassic dinos i agree with archaeopteryx and yangchuan, i'd also like ornitholestes, and opthalmosaurus to add more icthy variety.
I also NEED, CRAVE, DESIRE more triassic and permian beasties! I tried to do a themed park just using those and...it was abysmal. Eoraptor, plateosaurus, postosuchus, some flyers! I'd love to make a triassic/permian themed park that feels like a park!
The dlc I REALLY want is a mantah corp expansion dlc because it has the control chips and great new species. Maybe it will come sometime in december but I am keeping my fingers crossed as tight as I can for this one.🤞🤞
A dinosaur we need is the 3 hybrids from the first game
True or even a custom hybryd feature in the fughture
Yes you could ad these an spinoceratops from camp cretaceous and then you have a full hybrid pack
All of the hybrids from Jurassic world the game
Yes
@@brucejohns4932that would triple the current amount
I would love a “tiny feathered” update, with caudipterx, microraptor, archaeopterx and the yi qi! It would be so cool if they had little enclosures for the tiny dinos (prob made of glass in jw, and metal bars in jp )
my Prediction for the New DLC Species That I want to see is The Microceratus, Tarbosaurus, Concavenator, and Albertaceratops, And that Could Be A Good Idea For A Yangchuasaurus And A Torvosaurus!
I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
@@Sirdilophosaurusthethird2.0Lost world and the OG including novels where the best content tbh
Oh I'd love to see more DLC Wishlist videos. Love those 😊
I'd personally love to get some giant insects from the Carboniferous. You could use an aviaries as a tropical biodome or something like that so simulate the higher levels of oxygen.
I'd also like to watch wishlist videos of yours about other time periods. Also a video about this lagoon rework you mentioned, including some more marine animals (Archelon anyone?), would be hugely appreciated.
Well all good choices but I still want the 2001 triceratops skin, smilodon aka the famous saber toothed cat, tarbosaurus, spinoceratops, nothosaurus, little eatie skin,2001 stegosaurus skin, mantah corp velociraptor skin, spinosaurus assist 87 skin, mircroceratus,1997 pteranodon skin, prehistoric locust,1997 gallimimus skin,1997 triceratops skin, and everything else because those prehistoric animals and the variant skins have been missing from the game long enough.
Even if I really hope we'll get concavenator in the game, I think that we need more triassic and jurassic species when it comes to species pack. For the "disapointing" anniversary update maybe Universal wanted all the focus on that and asked for no dlc yet ? I am with you for the lagoon update and I hope we'll get a new biome soon or at least all biomes brushes.
100% agree on the lagoons.
As they are right now the marine reptiles just disapear in the vast expanse of nothingness which still feels flat and empty even after you place the individual corals. If you Enter the viewing gallery you will not even see anything most of the time. This is especially visible (or not, i guess) with the larger animals like mosasaurus since it’s very small compared to the amount of barren water needed for 100% comfort. I was so dissapointed when i found out we can’t do anything with lagoons other than release the dinos, that’s why i think aviaries are way better and more complete as a feature
My favorite thing to do with these videos is to comment my own wishlist before watching and seeing if there's any crossover;
Gigantoraptor: My biggest dino wish right now. I want the Titan Chicken so that alongside Therizinosaurus and Deinocheirus it can complete the trifecta of weird fluffy herbivores (which is important. I only want it if it's feathered. Naked Oviraptorsaurs are disgusting)
Protoceratops: We've not had a new ceratopsian since launch, and Proto would also give some small herbivore love. Give it a unique fighting animation with Velociraptor to honour the "fighting dinosaurs" fossil
Tarbosaurus: So i can complete my Nemegt Formation exhibits lol. Could have the CC one as a variant
Mononykus: More tiny floofy carnivores. Really mostly here to complete the Mongolian theme.
Gigantoraptor is one of my favourites 😍. I'm convinced they'd give it feathers
Also add Eoceratops for the Ceratopsians, I like the idea of a MASSIVE trike of sorts.
What I have most fun in the game is the new mechanics that challenge my ability to get a park to 5 stars. Whether it's the surprise psychological trauma trait, I can only build a park using herbivores, or the wild dinosaurs mechanic, each comes with something to approach the game differently. It would be fun to see a major mechanic added to the game. One idea I have for such a mechanic would be a hatchling mechanic for specific species such as the velociraptor of compsognathus. Basically, like the movies and novels, some species may switch to male leading to unintended breeding in your park. During breakouts, this could mean that nests could be built outside of the perimeter of a paddock that later hatch new animals that terrorize your guests without your knowledge, acting as wild animals.
I'd like to see Shunosaurus, Heterodontosaurus, Rhamphorhynchus, and Dakosaurus in a Jurassic Species Pack, I think. Though I wouldn't mind swapping out Dakosaurus for Yangchuanosaurus. :) (though imo JWE has too many big carnivores and waaay too few sauropods and little ornithischians)
I would prefer to see Ramphorhynchus in an entire Aviary DLC. This DLC could contain these species:
• Ramphorhynchus
• Nyctosaurus (it's similar to barbaridactylus but it's smaller and has pycnofibers and a different crest.)
• Yi Qi
• Microraptor (gliding instead of flying)
• More 2001 Pteranodon skins and also a 1997 Pteranodon variant.
@@orionmclaughlin5680 microraptor was a true flier, not a glider
@@princevermilion8799 Got it. This actually makes it *more* likely for it to be added to an Aviary DLC.
@@orionmclaughlin5680 😁
It's funny that you say you love Saurophaganax so much, Evo. I took part in a zoom where the speaker was DJ Sandy , who has been working on some Morrison quarries that have been yielding Saurophaganax material from several individuals from juveniles to adults! And from DJ's analysis of the material from the largest specimens of the quarries, it looks like Saurophaganax may prove to be the LARGEST known terrestrial predator (11-13 meters easily) from the Jurassic!
He's still working on material and may hopefully get his research published with many more details in the near future! 😉
They should make natural lagoons for ever map
Yes this would be awesome!!!
i would like to see more attractions and updates to certain dinosaurs that are already in the game. for example, the quetzal should be able to walk. i think that would be a good approach
Yeah, personally i don't like having too many DLCs in a game, (Looking at you, Sims 4) but JWE2 is great for DLCs, because you can have fun without them. I also like the idea of small cages for the tiny flyers
The thing jwe2 does better than the sims is its more affordable and definitely since the dlcs go on sale on ps store quite often. I have bought almost all of them with 50% or more sale and I'm only missing 2 because I didn't feel like I would need it at the moment

4:18 "Only the Kronosaurus was added to the underwater roster."
*Styxosaurus crying in the background
hahaha oops! But also: how telling is it that I literally forgot about Styxo being a new addition? Just goes to show the lagoons are so boring, I don't use them often enough.
Jurassic definitely needs more representation but even more so does Triassic…
A Triassic pack would be so cool and the one that always comes up is plateosaurus.
Just think it’s so unique and would be great as part of a pack!
While I think we all prefer content to Dino packs. They smashed the last one with the feathered pack and along with plateosaurus,
I think these are the obvious ones and high on people’s list…
Microceratus
Argentinasaurus
Gorgosaurus
Gigantoraptor
Hatzegopteryx
Cetiosaurus
Concavonator / irritator
I'd love to see more micro-exhibits like you mentioned for the flying reptiles, but for the small guys like compsognathus and such. Viewpoints of some kind, or a dedicated fence that lets pedestrians "see" your dinosaurus would be incredible. I love customizing building but often find it monotonous, would be great if there were "presets" for buildings maybe based on the different eras or companies, and make variations of every building for every era. Also a river-ride would be great, seems like it would be easy to code and it's from the films too.
Hey, you forgot Styxxasaurus, (Spelled that wrong I think, but it also got added to the game not just just Krono :). Love ur videos
hahaha oops! But also: how telling is it that I literally forgot about Styxo being a new addition? Just goes to show the lagoons are so boring, I don't use them often enough.
Agreed. This next DLC needs to be a big one!
The lagoon and it`s creatures behaviors would be a good place to start IMO.
I am still itching for Concavenator. And don’t forget that Styxosaurus was added in a DLC as well!
I have already put in my thoughts on this (also just got my wisdom teeth out this morning and this video helped the pain go down slightly much love for the work that goes into these thnks evo!!!)😍
So, just looked it up but you probably wouldn’t need a mini exhibit for archaeopteryx, since the largest specimen we have is not much smaller Than the already in game Jeholopterus.
I really do hope we get a Jurassic pack.
You mistunderstood: I'm not suggesting a mini exhibit because I think Archae is that much smaller than Jeholopterus. Personally, I would need a mini exhibit for these species. Because I think the current aviaries are too big for something as small as the Archaeopteryx and Jeholopterus.
you’re such an underrated UA-camr, I love your videos, and you’re also my favorite UA-camr. I discovered you I believe last year, and I’ve watched the videos ever since. keep up the good work!
Thank you so much!!
My Jurassic wishlist right now:
*_Early Jurassic Pack_*
*New Species:* Dorygnathus _(Aviary),_ Dracovenator, Scutellosaurus and Temnodontosaurus _(Lagoon)_
*_Middle Jurassic Pack_*
*New Species:* Darwinopterus _(Aviary),_ Gasosaurus OR Piatnitzkysaurus, Ophthalmosaurus _(Lagoon)_ and Shunosaurus
*_Late Jurassic Pack_*
*New Species:* Metriorhynchus _(Lagoon),_ Miragaia, Rhamphorhynchus _(Aviary)_ and Yangchuanosaurus
7:43 here is a better way to describe it.
Instead of having a cake for your birthday you instead get a singular cupcake.
I had an idea. What if frontier ( Jurassic World Evolution 2.) added a new mechanic that allowed us to mix different Dino’s genome together to create hybrids. It could come with a campaign that teaches players how the system works.
I think the lagoons need way more love. We need to be able to have brushes for kelp, coral and seaweed. We need to be able to adjust the terrain. Lagoons could also use large underwater arches and caves that the creatures can use. Then we can get new species for the lagoon.
Love the mini-aviary idea. Mini exhibits in general would be amazing. Imagine being able to add small marine creatures, giant insects, triassic reptiles that weren't huge. That would be awesome, but probably unlikely. The game could also use bridges and waterfalls. Benches, vending machines and trash cans would be nice too. I could go on and on. Haha
I've wanted microceratus since JW1. It's in my top 5 favourite dinosaurs. Also more attractions, benches, bins and a Nublar shaped map that's already set as the shape so you don't have to try and recreate it.
I definitely agree with the video. I was extremely excited hearing about all the anniversary news, thinking this was probably what frontier was building up to for a while which would make sense, but instead it was just a small decoration update. Still a great update, but there's sooooooo much more we've been asking for since the first game.
That's a good Idea Evo. I would like the dinos you said to be in the game too.
Yes! I really want all these species packs! Great Dinos and great video!
Cool one!
Oh and one more thing, if we could get gates and doors that only staff could go through and even a little sign saying staff only would be great. Also, have a gate that people could walk through but that you can close in case of an emergency that would-be cool too.
They should add a custom lagoon builder where you can build the lagoon walls like the fences, also they could make it so you can make tunnels in the lagoon with glass walls for guests to walk through, another good idea is if you can change the depth of the lagoon like you said, and another good idea is that they can also make it so you can have a some sort of a rail system attraction for lagoon where you can build a rail and have submarines go along the tracks for the guests like the hyper loop, I think that will be a cool idea!
Completely agree with an lagoon upgrade as well as a water upgrade, would love to do a true site b with every type of creature. Plus it be cool to see a dinosaur swimming animation.
If I could pick 4 creatures it be.
Small creatur cages sounds like a good idea too.
-Shastasaurus
-Nemicolopterus
-Gigantoraptor
-Arizonasaurus
Amazing content as always
Appreciate it!
My ideas for a late jurassic expansion:
*Supersaurus
*Guanlong
*Temnodontosaurus
*Rhomaleosaurus
--savannah habitat (Africa and Australia possible maps)
--The Lost World vehicles to drive (like the jeeps and fleetwood for photograph)
--sauropods fight back
I would love a Lost World DLC where you can build all of the buildings, like the village or the raptors nest, and maybe even some of the buildings from Jurassic Park 3. Just something to give a more run down look.
Btw thanks for all the videos you have been uploading! It's been fun to work on new parks while my broken arm is recovering.
Id rather have better terrain constraints, smaller hit boxes, more decorations and custom build options... something similar to planet coaster...im hoping someday they listen to this
As I said in my Disclaimer: this video should not be misconstrued to mean I just want species for the game. Theres other stuff way more important. Just doing a fun video.
Yeah! Smaller hit boxes would be great, for the cosmetic items st least, so we could put a pile of rocks or merge rocks into a big unique rock, or merge trees into a bigger or wretched tree, and since I play in console, can't use any mod so...
This sort of thing can't really be added post-release. It would need to have been built in from the beginning, I'm afraid.
The only thing that _might_ come would be the smaller hitboxes.
@@EvolutionSquare I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
@@EvolutionSquare Cool I wish Archaeopteryx was in JWE2 that would be totally awesome don't you think?
4 species I would like being added in the designated Aquatic DLC are:
Shonisaurus from the Triassic Period, the largest known marine reptile to ever exist, the largest species almost as long as a blue whale. I'm surprised that there are no Triassic marine reptiles in Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Temnodontosaurus from the Jurassic Period, a large predatory ichthyosaur
Globidens from the Cretaceous Period, a mosasaur with round teeth.
Metriorhynchus from the Jurassic Period, a crocodile relative that was completely adapted to ocean life.
Some more features I would like include:
Modify the depth of the lagoon areas.
Background prehistoric creatures to add more life to the lagoon areas, like ammonites and hybodus, a prehistoric shark.
Modify the ground texture of lagoons.
Seagrass, kelp, and mangroves that are for shallower areas of lagoons.
Random Corals.
What i would added for the update beside a smaller aivary also a bigger avairy for the quetzalcoatl
I think any Jurassic/Triassic themed pack or lagoon update would be great! Here are my ideas:
Jurassic Pack: Shunosaurus (small club-tailed sauropod), Torvosaurus (obviously), Archeopteryx (cuz bird), and Othnielia (or Rhomaleosaurs if it was acommpanying a lagoon update).
Triassic Pack: Shonisaurus (cuz mosasaur sized ichthyosaur), Eoraptor (one of the earlies dinosaurs), Postosuchus (giant crocodile lizard carnivore thing), and Nothosaurus (cuz camp cretaceous).
Let me know what you think!
Lagoon update: adds different types of plants, and brushes so you can paint sand/rock on the lagoon floor (different creatures like different types of ground cover). It also adds the ability to change depth, and some marine species prefer deeper water than others. There would also be a temperature control, where some marine reptiles like cold water, and others like tropical water or something like that. This would affect the color of the lagoon water and make some species incompatible with others. Another cool feature would be an ammonite feeder and a feeder that you place on the seafloor that plesiosaurs can use to bottom feed (this is based on science I think).
Dinosaurs to include would be: Rhomaleosaurus (early Jurassic pliosaur), Shonisaurus (whale sized ichthyosaur), Archelon (giant sea turtle), and leedsichthys (50 foot long fish).
I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
We need a complete set for the dinos left in camp Cretaceous like the northosaurus, tarbosaurus and that sinocertops hybrid
For me personally the ones I want the most are;
1. Plateosaurus. We need more prosauropod representation and I always felt they are very underrated. I also owe it to them for the core memory that started my love for dinosaurs ever since I saw that scene with them in WWD at four years old.
2. Oxalaia. Spinosaurs are my favorite dinosaurs due to how bizarre and unique they are, and I don't feel that the JP franchise shows that very well. With this however, they could design it to be more like its scientifically accurate selves. Plus, imagine the possibilities for unique animations.
3. Ornithomimus. After the pyroraptor + feathered dlc brought us their glorious selves, it's left me craving for a proper feathered onithomimid. Especially with how underwhelming those currently in-game look.
4. Shonisaurus. As you've mentioned, aquatics have been a bit neglected. What better way than to bring one of the largest marine reptiles to ever exist. Plus, more ichthyosaur representation would be appreciated.
I want to see Camptosaurus, Glacialisaurus, Plateosaurus & Draconyx in Jurassic era pack. I think Callovosaurus was mentioned in the novel, so I want that too. All 5 have thumb spikes, so I guess we can subtract that from the subject video into a thumb spike defense pack
Awesome video!!! Also l got my list of Species that could be in the late Jurassic Pack as well as the ones you said :)
List:
- Stokesosaurus
- Camptosaurus
- Rampherynchus (I think that's how you spell it?)
- Ophthalmosaurus
It's Rhamphorhynchus. Whoever named it really loved the letter H for some reason
@@Daft_Vader thanks :)
Love, love, love species pack idea videos
Great vid as always. Would like to see a wishlist video for new buildings and mechanics from you
Your nostalgia - Brachiosaurus. My nostalgia - sarcastic tour guide. You know what Im talking about.
This is pure speculation and optimism but it's possible that Frontier pushed back the DLC to give more time for an extra-large and detailed expansion such as a Cenozoic/ice age expansion which would require completely new animations and mechanics
that is indeed just speculation and wishful thinking.
There is no reason to think the DLC was "pushed back" to make it bigger or better. The reality is most likely just that they didn't plan for anything other than the decorations in June, so they worked on the game less for a while and the upcoming DLC will match previous DLC's in size and quality. I don't think the long wait means we should raise our expectations higher than normal.
For a pack idea I thought of was an Island Species Pack, basically four species that lived on islands.
1. Masiakasaurus, a small theropod from the island of Madagascar, it's already unique because of it's weird teeth and it would be an omnivore capable of eating both meat and fruits.
2. Magyarosaurus, a dwarf titanosaur from Hateg Island in Romania and I just love to see these small titanosaurs in our parks alongside their giant cousins.
3. Rhamphorhynchus, an iconic pterosaur known for its small size, toothy grin and long tail would make an excellent addition to our flyers. Has been found on islands like the Solnhofen Limestone.
4. For an aquatic, I couldn't think of one since I don't think any were restricted to islands only. So maybe like Thecodontosaurus or Cycnorhamphus.
I prefer prehistoric planet over the whole Jurassic franchise now
I'm not sure which species I would choose if just picking from the Jurassic era, my main hopes for any new additions would maybe be Plateosaurus, Ornitholestes, Microraptor, and Tarbosaurus (with a Camp Cretaceous skin/variant too). I agree that the lagoons need some love, I rarely use those decorations because I don't see them enough, and only add a few little things to see. They could allow us to change the depth, shallow, normal and deep, change the water colour, murkiness/clarity, brushes for kelp and seaweed, and if they added more species to the aquatic roster I would like Megalodon, Archelon, Basilosaurus, and Dunkleosteus. I know only Archelon is from the era of the dinosaurs, but I feel they would be immensely popular additions to our lagoons. They could even shake up the single lagoon piece shapes, so instead of it always being a circular shape, could make it triangular or rectangular, or maybe even place a lagoon fence like you would a normal fence, being able to curve it how you like, and then when you connect it to your start point, the inside space will become your lagoon space.
I want a few species to be added at some point. That being : Protoceratops, Diabloceratops, Dacenturus, Torvosaurus, Yangchuanosaurus, Ichtyovenator and Austroraptor.
I would really like to see a semi-aquatic update, i really love aquatics and i think that they should really add crocodilians like deinosuchus and sarcosuchus to really ad variety
I have a insatiable need for species. I want camptosaurus because it lived with stegosaurus and that's just pretty cool in my opinion. I also like it
A part of me is linda hoping that we get a dlc called "return to the 5 deaths" where we may get a campaign that would take place on the 5 deaths from the first game and then we couls unlock those maps/islands for challenge mode or more likely sandbox. This could bring back building styles from the first game like being able to change the style of hotels in jwe 2 to the style of hotels in jwe 1. The same could be done with the amenities, vewing areas, and this could even bring back skin colours from the first game.
I kinda would want cenazoic creatures like megatherium, mammoth, sabbertoth cat, and etc. Also my point is that you can count yutyranus for that catagory, but that's what I think. Since there is snow the Washington and Canada maps or aviary of biome with snow would be cool.
I'd like a challenge mode where you have to save guests from broken out dinosaurs. But there'd have to be a challenge to the challenge like you need to research the tranq levels, but they take longer to research, so there's more risk of guests getting eaten.
Even if they do a dlc dedicated to the lagoon, the roster of marine reptiles is so sparse right now that I don’t think they can get away with not taking any opportunity available to bolster it. I’d take the opportunity to add Opthalmosaurus, while it is similar visually to Icthyosaurus, it is a good amount larger, which is enough to distinguish it, especially with the right skins. Plus it had rep in walking with dinosaurs so it’s fairly well known. I’d also add Rhamphoryncus, Dimirphodon’s not only lonely as the only Jurassic pterosaur period, but also the only long-tailed Pterosaur, Rhamphorynchus would be another one plus has an interesting looking head, so it’s a boost to the game’s variety. I’m also cool with adding Archaeopteryx to the game as you suggested, it actually had some rep in one of the Jurassic Park arcade games already as well.
As for dinosaurs from this era, I’m in agreement in adding another big boy carnivore, and either Torvosaurus or Saurophaganax is cool with me. If I had to pick one it’d be Saurophaganax, it was bigger and its name is fun to say. But either way we’d get a new big carnivore that’s not a charcharodontosaurid, so I’d be happy with either.
Aside from that I wouldn’t say no to another large Sauropod - in particular Barosaurus because it’s the longest dinosaur from nose to tail, if not necessarily the most massive. I don’t think Nanosaurus / Othnelia would be an especially interesting addition to the game, I think it’s not exciting enough and too redundant with Dryosaurus even with the novel rep to warrant a spot in a paid DLC. The Jurassic has a lot of stegosaurs too but I think there’s enough of those in game already.
EVO!! Hope your having a great day
And I would buy the late Jurassic pack
My four Jurassic species would be Miragaia (with properly long neck!), Torvosaurus, Harpactognathus, and Machimosaurus. Actually, if we're allowed to expand beyond just marine reptiles, then I'd replace Machimosaurus with Leedsichthys.
Yes, I'd like more species pack or expansion idea videos.
Great video as always. I mean SURELY they knew a 'know your dino' for a species they've already done wouldn't go down too well as we're all waiting for even a small teaser. Like we're so desperate I was hoping for a zipline like tease in the Australovenator reveal background!! Also steamdb has just stopped updating since early 18th July so maybe its all done and they'll announce next week. But communication really needs to be improved. Even stopping streams without any announcement randomly and only telling us they're still here in a reply to your post. Very strange.
I noticed the lack of activity on Steam DB, and we are getting close to when I predicted an announcement would come (announcement end July, DLC early August). However, I also wouldn't rule out that the sporadic Steam DB updates, as opposed to the constant work we are used to seeing, is due to it being peak summer holiday time.
@@EvolutionSquare yeah totally agree. I still hope its because theyve finished, because planet zoo steamdb had been updating all day eventhough their next dlc is in a few months, and frontier are releasing the new warhammer game and formula 1 manager really soon. So just the jwe2 team on holiday is a bit strange. But yeah, maybe its just a bit of a break
Evo: Only the kronosaurus was added by dlcs for the marine reptiles
Styxosaurus: Am I a joke to you ?
I want more attractions like roller coasters and actual theme park themed things imagine making a roller coaster that goes over an enclosure or even through it.....
This is so funny looking back on this
I respect the food analogies 😤👌
Great vid EVO and I respect your choices but I'll say that I don't think Frontier would place two fairly large sized carnivores in a DLC pack together but I do feel Yang is on its way, with Torvo being included in another DLC pack later through the games progress. Here's mine for a Mid or Late Jurassic DLC pack. Shunosaurus + Yangchuanosaurus + Rhamphorynchus + Omphalmosaurus + Segisaurus as a free addition which will be a nice welcoming one to Evolution II. 👨👍👍 Imagine giant prehistoric spiders and other arachinds\insects in Evolution II.
100% agree with lagoon needs a overhaul I still want the under water walkways and for the love of god new species models the most unique we got is ichthyosaurus I’m tired of all the plesiosaur and mosasaurus remodeled into similar species I’m dying for something like anomalocaris or Cameroceras
Personally, I would like a DLC with marine animals and marine attractions, something like a tour on a submarine or an underwater dome
I would definitely like some new buildings in the guest and attraction section. Something that would blend in with your average park
Yes!! Triassic and Permian!!! A bunch of my favorite critters are from there!!! Gorgonopsid, Edaphosaurus, Plateosaurus, Postosuchus, etc.
I remember in one of your videos evo sqaure that u wanted to see the microceratus and the tarbosaur when u made ideas for jwe2
I do yes. So... what? haha This video is about Jurassic species, neither Tarbo nor Micro are from the Jurassic, they are both Cretaceous.
I love the yangchuanosaurus is one of my favourite dinosaurs I’m so happy it’s getting the recognition it deserves
I would love a semi-aquatic pack with deinosuchus, and then just a mash of nothosaurs, and then a postosuchus or a coelphysis.
Hi evo I love your channel and been a fan from Reddit and UA-cam for a while I love your content your builds has inspired me to make my own builds parks
Can’t wait for Evo to lose her mind when one of these get added
100%
I think I have some good ideas for a free update, 1. Fix the helicopters, when a helicopters destroyed it just flys back to base, wouldn’t it be cool if it would crash and explode like we see in Jurassic world, and maybe if it falls on a building it would damage the building. 2. Fixing storms in sandbox, whenever I make a park after I’m done I save it and try to spawn a bunch of storms and watch the chaos unfold but a storm NEVER spawns even with the “frequent-storms” setting on, so I would either make the storms even more frequent or just have a setting that can spawn a tornado or something. I would also want to be able to get a tornado on every map because on a lot of them tornados won’t spawn. 3. Have the cool traits from the Movie challenge mode levels in sandbox, maybe a setting that is low, medium, high, and all for staff disloyalty and dinosaur intelligence cause those are cool traits that you can sadly only get in those challenge modes 4. Aviary gates, i don’t think you should need a hatchery for EVERY aviary in your park, you should be able to put a gate on an aviary and lower your flying reptiles into the aviary without the hatchery, and if the gate is damaged or sabotaged your flying reptiles could escape. 5. Improved first person mode, I WANT TO BE EATEN BY A DINOSAUR. As silly as that sounds I want to play as a guest and try and survive a dinosaur break out, I also want to be able to jump. 6. Everyone else’s ideas because the large majority of them are awesome ideas. Sorry for that rant, thanks for the amazing content evo 👍.
A mini aviary is such an cool idea if they added an way to do mi enclosures for tiny Dino it would be an blast
Just seen the new dlc and watched this vid lol but yep there's a dedicated marine and it has some new cool things to do with the lagoon
