YUM, YUM, YUM. I may not be Italian biologically, but being born in Long Island, New York almost 80 years ago, Italian is still my very favorite meals. Thank God, Tucson where I have lived since I was 25 years, now has some great Italian restaurants. I love your website and youtubes. Thank you for the joy you bring to my life. God bless you and your family, Marilyn Phillips
I’m African born nd parents r indian leaving in london strictly vegeta😢rian but I like Italian recipe thanks first time watching your program really loved it so some more recipes pls❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ yummy yummy 🙏🙏👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Mmmmm... In Italy we don't really use this crazy quantity of garlic. That's probably the way the cuisine turned in the USA. Authentic Italian recipes are another thing, a bit different 🤷🏻♂️
Love the Amalfi coast especially Sorrento. Bring on the anchovies on pizza too and especially one of my faves..Puttanesca. Anchovies add glorious umami. Love in a bowl.
Another slammin dish from Joe. Hell of a time fo my wife to be on a low carb diet! Have to do this one without her because you know I'm gonna have a stack of Italian bread on the side to help guide it in the right direction!
I'm telling you what, this is going to be my new go to. We made this last night and it was delicious! Made one change, I only used a half of pound of spaghetti. Spaghetti Positano has everything my taste buds crave.
Hey Joe! As a little tip, try cutting the peppers with the waxy side down! Thanks for the great content and making dishes as a single serving as always.
Whenever I make home made sauce it starts with olive oil, chopped onions, celery, garlic and as it softens, I melt in 3 or 4 anchovies. No fishy taste at all. It melt down in and gives wonderful yummmm to it.
great channel..the oil he sells is great.....as for the garlic...i will add dogs - i don't understand people who do not not like dogs ---- or in this case the garlic..this preparation matches my own - thanks JB
You could- but it wouldn’t obviously taste the same. Cilantro is very very strong and used in Mexican food. I’d use basil before cilantro, it fits better with the Italian flavours. That’s just my advice and opinion thou.
Joe, I know you probably forgot more about cooking than I know, that being said, you seem like a man who can always learn something new and also, always want to know if your wrong. You stated the seeds are where the heat resides in a pepper but the truth is the veins of the pepper is where most of the heat resides. Just a nugget, also, everyone should try a bottle of 'Vito's and Joe's Extra Virgin Olive Oil'. I would reckon to say the best extra virgin olive oil for value. It's better then olive oil twice as expensive. Anyway, perfect time to order a few bottles and cook some of your dishes with the family.
LOVE!💞 I'm learning as much from you Joe, as I learned during a week in Abruzzo in Carunchio at Palazzo Tour d'Eau - but maybe not as much fun!😉 Maybe you should consider an affordable "cooking/wine" school here in the states - particularly on the East coast!🤗 P.S. Positano is the most beautiful place on earth!💗
had the olive oil wasnt impressed. I am from Tropea, Calabria but I have to admit the olive oil I been getting from Croatia and Portugal have us beat. Best of luck to you, dont overdue the Italian stereotypes. Ciao, a domani
Been making a very similar dish as this for years but I add some onion as well and crumbled sausage rather than anchovies. Joe, did you run out of Sinatra music or are you listening to Drake now. 😜
First: Never wear a white shirt while cooking spaghetti with a tomato sauce. Second: Drink white or red wine but definitely not prosecco with your dinner.
Well. I am American Italian. Parents from Italy I was born here. I am a dual citizen but my first language is english. So even when I say it in Italian it comes out american Italian. lol
New subscriber who LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Italian food. I’m making this tonight!

Excellent dish I make regularly, I add capers, quartered artichoke hearts & either 21/26 shrimp @ last moment or chunked mahi...
Mac😎👍
capers are made from the devil's blackheads
Great additions!
A simple dish that comes out excellent!
It really is!
So happy to find this site

I love it, "go eat somewhere else!"
In my opinion the more garlic the better.
In my next life I'm coming back Italian.

My cruise to the Amalfi coast in June was cancelled. I will make this dish and dream of being there. Thank you. :)
No need to go there to eat some real Italian food. Plenty of time now to actually cook it!!!
Enjoy!!! 😋
Never had this dish before but it looks great! Some of the most delicious dishes are also some of the simplest to make.
Thanks Joe ,, missed you ,get Sinatra on it’s awesome with watching you🇨🇦♥️👍😎
I always play Sinatra but with youtubes new copyright rules and AI if the sound is heard they delete the video. Welcome to big brother!!! lol

Hey Joe! As a little tip, try cutting the peppers with the waxy side down! Thanks for the great content and making dishes as a single serving as always.
Good tip!
👍👍 Be well, Joe! Grazie!
This recipe is so close to a puttenesca...yummy!
Whenever I make home made sauce it starts with olive oil, chopped onions, celery, garlic and as it softens, I melt in 3 or 4 anchovies. No fishy taste at all. It melt down in and gives wonderful yummmm to it.

As always joe. That looks amazing. Can't wait to make it. ✌
Well, Thank you!!!
My husband doesn't like spicy can I use regular red peppers or does that change the taste of the dish?
I'm hungry now!
Okay, so now I'm starving! LOL
Hey Joe, Is it ok to use cilantro instead of parsley in Italian recipes?
You could- but it wouldn’t obviously taste the same. Cilantro is very very strong and used in Mexican food. I’d use basil before cilantro, it fits better with the Italian flavours. That’s just my advice and opinion thou.
not a good idea as cilantro will change the entire dish.
Ca me rappelle l italie avec mes potes cuisiniers

Could i use some Calabrian chili paste instead of the peppers? I’m excited to make this dish! Grazie!
Yes you can!
Hey Joe. Great recipe. How can I buy a share of that olive oil? Is that possible?
What type of peppers are you using for this recipe?
had the olive oil wasnt impressed. I am from Tropea, Calabria but I have to admit the olive oil I been getting from Croatia and Portugal have us beat. Best of luck to you, dont overdue the Italian stereotypes. Ciao, a domani
I'm looking for a good brand of pasta? Can you give a recommendation?

Hi joe what is perfecco? Maybe it is procecco. Love ur channel.
Well you did it again 👍 just wondering do you have room for one more Joe I would be very quiet ect... 🤗 Can't tell the wife I moved in you know 🤫 😉
I do!
@@Cookingitalianwithjoewell Joe thanks but she caught me and said if I leave the house it will be in a box sorry sounded good for a minute 😎
Been making a very similar dish as this for years but I add some onion as well and crumbled sausage rather than anchovies. Joe, did you run out of Sinatra music or are you listening to Drake now. 😜
LOL. No youtube hits me with copyright if the music plays on video. So no more Frank. :(
All we use is pink Himalayan salt. Oh once in awhile kosher
❤️
I would add fresh basil rather than the parsley for more flavor
lol anchovies are way too salty for me. But the rest sounds good except not enough garlic... I'll do 5 cause 3 not enough. 😋
Soak the anchovies in a glass of milk for a few hours and it pulls out all the salt.
So where is your pink shirt?
First: Never wear a white shirt while cooking spaghetti with a tomato sauce.
Second: Drink white or red wine but definitely not prosecco with your dinner.
Love this vid ❤️ Come and join our party 🎉🎤🎉
I miss Sinatra....did they go after you. On copyright crap....sad.
Marry me!
ok! lol
@@Cookingitalianwithjoe It's settled then! Not LOL, lol..
too much editing, let it roll
Learn how to pronounce positano. Your saying Pawz. There's no a or z.
Yikes ... five minute of talking before any cooking. Talk as you cook. Simple.
Dude, you should work on your Italian. Not that american italian like imitation
