- This is the first time in my Life I am driving a tractor! I am back in the South Indian village and I am helping with farm work. We are plowing the land, sowing seeds and much more in rural India.

This reminds me of my childhood days in Karaikurichi village in Tirunelveli district of TN. We used to go on annual pilgrimage all d way from Jabalpur in MP, to spend few months. We enjoyed it so much specially to be amongst our loving maternal grand parents, visiting temples daily for chakrapongal dripping with ghee, taking bath in Tamrabharini river nearby, riding bullock cart, etc. Those were golden days with simple daily life.

9:15 swimming in well is very common thing we do in rural part of India 🇮🇳. And village kids can swim without trainer. While in cities one need need to do special training for swimming 😂
😅 Yes I have seen city kids with their trainers in Bangalore
@@AshandSummer they even charge a lot. in big cities even in some international schools where they train kids how to swim. But village kids swim without trainer local ponds , rivers or in well. They learn from others.

Were you used to walking barefoot at all?
Or is this something that you got introduced to in India? Was it a cultural shock?
yes I think so. In Germany its mostly too cold to walk barefoot and also socially its not very accepted I dont think Ive ever seen anyone walking barefoot. Maybe in so called barefoot shoes hehe
@@AshandSummer It is absolutely important to be physically connected to mother earth at least for some time in the day. Even Sadhguru has mentioned this. Feet cocooned in shoes or other footwear always is the most unnatural thing.. At least at home one must be barefoot.
If you walk barefoot for sometime everyday u will never have eyesight problem. Many diseases will never happen to u. We have seen 100 + yr men/women in villages who have their vision intact in that age also.
