Thank you, he certainly is a smasher. He's enjoying being back at school but missing the adventures. We will still get to local stations after school 😊
Another great day. Thanks, Tommy and Daddy. The rail-washing was a special sight, wasnt it. Something we in Australia dont have to worry about. What does affect us, though, is summer heat causing the rails to expand requiring, at worst, cancellation of services, or else slowing down enormously, from 160 km/h to 60.
Yeah we love seeing the track treatment train. Until I started working on the trains, I never believed leaves could cause so much trouble, but experiencing it first hand is quite incredible.
Great video and great crossover just a great vid like always hope you enjoyed catching the 68 RHTT and the new ex avanti cross-country country I bet daddy gets scared of the crosscountrys
I would love to see what happens when a Northern unit disappears around into that siding and then later a unit reappears back out of there. I am so used to seeing crews end swapping openly on terminus platforms.
The truth isn't that exciting. The train travels maybe 100 metres and then there's normally a 20-30 minute wait to come back out. The driver and conductor swap ends and have a chat in the middle 😂
@TommysTrainsandPlanes Oh yes, he is! Couldn't resist that, sorry! The only panto I've seen was, curiously enough, in Newcastle, at the Theatre Royal. Barbara Windsor was the Principal Boy!! Behind me, a young lad would flail his arms around with delight, frequently connecting with my head. I decided that being a spoilsport wasn't in the spirit of the season. And I was laughing too much to care.
Yeah, we appreciate they are concentrating on a safety critical job so we don't get upset if they don't see him. We hope that one day, it'll be Tommy concentrating in the cab 😊
What a smashing little boy Tommy is. Very clever on the train numbers we will miss him when is is back at school

@brucewilliams8714 wow I bet Barbara Windsor was amazing
Tommy loves pantomime. He's going with his school to see Snow White this year 🙂

@ oh same here I trainspot mostly at greater anglia but i have been to Euston before
When Tommy's back at school the drivers will miss him.
His first day back today. He learned about Remembrance Day which he finds really interesting 😊
heres a question for tommy, LNER or Avanti? 🤔
Tommy said he prefers Avanti West Coasts trains because they have better beeps 🙂
It could be the folk put the wrong destination on that ‘Plymouth’ train, I could be wrong. Some Scotland trains finish at Penzance
It was strange because Real Time Trains said Penzance but the announcement said Plymouth and the destination indicator said Plymouth
Can you go to London Heathrow airport meartl lane
Not sure when we'll be back in London but we'll look into it
