This song is pretty much a 2000's chorus with 2010's chunks and 2020's production. Metalcore at its finest, love it!

I just saw miss may I with All That Remains, varials. An Tallah! Was such an epic night. I saw All That Remains play the entirety of The Fall of Ideals, from back to front. I named my son after Oli an it meant so much to hear that album live. I only wish he had been with us to celebrate. RIP Oli

Feels like a good balance of the 2000s metalcore sound with hints of modern metalcore. Much better than the last single in my opinion.

@@cinforammi8543 most of their mass or ct shows since 2011 they've played I've been at, over a dozen times seeing him struggle live and looking like a fish out of water when people notice solidly made my view of him
these guys have been killin it since 2009. Still one of my fav metalcore albums of all time.

Man... Metalcore is such a well structured genre, and it still slaps. I grew up on metal core and post hardcore in my teenage years so it just works for me. love
Miss May I carried 2000's metalcore, they belong to the 2000's scene, one of my all time favorite bands 🔥🔥
wdym carried? spiritually or something? With bands like Killswitch Engage 2000's metalcore didn't needed to be carried, same year mmi came out with first ep, pwd released horizons and AILD - An Ocean Between Us. That said, 2011 Monument deserve to be in list of best metalcore albums of 2010s for sure.
@@TheChaoticReflection yeah but pwd was already on the scene, as well as aild, mmi wasnt, maybe I should of elaborated more lol remember in 2009 all the bands coming out were mainly post hardcore or soing something with electronics? Not that I have an issue with all that because I love that sound as well, but while new and fresh bands at the time were stepping away from the 2000s metalcore sound, mmi didn't, and as those bands from the same era started to go soft and more rock, mmi just keep getting better with their sound, keeping the fast riffs, melodic leads, even started writing more solos in their music, basically mmi didnt slow down while others did, even pwd went a bit soft, which is still good because they made it work, and aild... well we all know what happened their, yeah kse still kept their crown, but out of the bands that were becoming mainstream from 2008-2013, mmi definitely captured the heart of earlier metalcore, I'm sure theres a few bands from that era idk about, but mmi definitely help carry the 2000s metalcore sound when put on the side of their peers lol

That's what I call a heavy breakdown! But I like the chorus better in the previous single.
Before they blew up, I was playing in a band and they were headlining a local show. We were to open the show…but our drummer forgot his symbols lmao. Still got to watch them though and it was beyond epic. This was in 2008 or 09. I’veeee seen beyond these wallsssss

Oh I love MMI so much like to this day one of my very favorite songs is Hey Mister 😌 and it feels like with these new songs they are combining their old style with new things (as a lot pf bands do) but still sound like what we just love about metalcore and love it
