I remember watching this around when I first started to really get into piano, I really loved this song and wanted to learn it, but actually trying to play it like this was really hard and I thought I'd never be able to do it. 6 years later and I'm finally able to play it like this! I guess you are talking about how I learned to play piano xD Well, I was taking lessons for 3 years when i was about 12 years old to 15... But then i got tired of all the boring songs (mozart, bethoven etc. xD) so I quit and started to play songs that I wanted to play c: I learn all of my songs by ear, I play the music on my phone, then sit at the piano for 20 minutes, and then I have learned the melody and the lower keys. After two days, I usually learned the whole piece xD
The fact that the baseline is so simple (just a 1-5-8-5 on a repeating four chord loop, as far as I can tell) but this cover sounds *so good* is just a testament to your skills
I still love this cover❤️ it’s the best one out there, I always come back to it I discovered it 5 years ago, because of you I learned it and have passion to play the piano, thank you!

It's casual playing like this that makes me want to get a keyboard (I actually don't even have space in my room for one, but I can afford and fit one of those much easier than a piano). But alas, I cannot play to save my life. There is an interesting program out there called Playground Sessions though by a UA-camr on here that teaches to play modern songs. I can't even read music...nor know any of the keys so that's the only reason I'd start with a program at all. Anywho, great job with this. This song has become my obsession in the last few days, but I prefer the one that nekobolo/sasanomaly has done (the producer for this song, nekobolo, has broken out into a singing career as of just 2014 and goes by sasanomaly...and gracious, his voice is amazing. I find his version a thousand times better than Miku's AND he seems to be able to sing in Japanese, English (with lyrics that make sense and rhyme!) and Chinese. He's the up and coming artist I'm certainly on the lookout for this year :) Again though, really enjoyed this.
