To prevent confusion I think you should clarify that the E25 can only fit a 13 inch MacBook Pro, while the E30 and E35 are able to hold a 15 or 16 inch MacBook Pro.
The bag is 4.5lbs which is very heavy for travel and walk around all day. How does it feel for all day walk with full camera gear compared to say Peak Design 20L 2.5lbs everyday backpack?
@@leonugen biased opinion here, but when weight is properly distrubuted, you won't feel it like you would with bags that do not have harness designed with wieght distrubution as a prioirty. Our bags do, I can't cmment on others as I do not use or look at them :) but we do have a reputation for all-day comfort.
Excellent review of the Shimoda V2 25L sir! I ordered the V2 30L only because I need the large mirrorless cube for a 12.5” long lens. I also like the aluminum frame which permits the bag to stand vertically on its own, which few bags do.
Hi. I just came across your review after already ordering the 25L version. It hasn’t arrived yet but I was already wondering if I’d chosen the right size. I have a Fuji X-T3 with a few small lenses so after watching this I think it’ll be fine. Thanks.
My LowPro is 3 1/2 years old and is kind of worn, so it basically looks like any other backpack. And, I usually wear older work clothes, so I'm often mistaken for a homeless person, or at least a lower income person, so I don't attract attention unless I'm actually photographing. I like this about the Shimoda. I just wish it'd hold my 17" laptop.
I mostly mountain bike to locations . I purchased the action x50 awsome bag but a little too big and heavy for biking . No need for the extra weight . Purchased the v2 25l looks perfect. One of my favorite bags is the mindshift backlight 26 so comfortable light and can hold a ton of gear. I also really like the atlas athlete bag it has a more sporty hiking bag feel to it and is pretty versitile.
Iʻm trying to decide between the Shimoda backpack and the PGYTech Onemo 30L backpack. What are your thoughts? I need a bag to carry my Canon R6, 24-70 and 70-200mm lenses and assorted accessories while traveling (city walks in Europe) and especially meet the airlines requirements for carry on. Your comments would be really appreciated.
Guys, i feel like i cracked the mystery and i want to let you in on a possible spoiler. The mystery is if and why Matt moved from California to Utah. . . . . Matt Moved from California to Utah to work with Quinn from Snazzy Labs. And if its true, i am very excited and delighted to find out if it is a fact.

Thanks Matt, as always crisp, clean and clear content. Good stuff. - Ian

Best review I've found during my research on this bag. And my god... the aspect ratio. FINALLY!

Dope video as always, my man!
Thank you!

What camera are you using for the broll shots I’m guessing Canon something
BMPCC 6K and R6
Can you fit the 80-400 Fuji? Thx!
I own a X30-30L, I am usually take the bag going for landscape shooting, and never to go extrame sport. Would it be delicate to get a Ev2-25L?
How tall are you? How do you find the smaller E25 fits from a torso perspective? Do you use the hip straps?
I’m 5’ 10”. It fits me well. At least, it feels very comfortable. I don’t use the hip strap, but I do use the chest strap occasionally.
@@mattgonzalez will the hip straps seat too high? I am 5’11 so it will be pretty close how it will fit you
Which GPS unit are you using. I saw it in the video on the back of the Shimoda Explorer?
It's a Garmin inReach mini
I NEED LIGHTWEIGHT , WATERPROOF camera backpack , with place for my socks
Can you fit sony 200-600 lens in this bag ?
would this fit under the plane seat?
Yes
Hi Matt: So I see that Ian (Shimoda) doesn't put down any rules as to how long your video should be in order to receive a free bag? Thanks.
