I hope you're doing better now, you're so upbeat and positive in these videos I never would have known if you didn't share this Were the leaflets and ISBN worth the money? Most people on Amazon seem to be making bank because they churn out high volumes of work, like those 'adult colouring books' that people churn out at lightning speed (probably from AI art knowing how things are going). I can't draw to save my life but I'm in the process of writing a book to stick up on Amazon, and I was planning to just use the free Kindle ISBN; it means it won't be 'real' enough to be placed in a library or whatever, but did you find it worthwhile to pay out for one? I was originally trying to spend as little as I can, but just like you I'm realising costs rack up fast; I'm in a good enough financial position for this to be a passion project I'll make a loss on (I just want to make something and get it out in the world honestly), but from watching your video the process looks like a nightmare!

I’m doing amazing now, getting my diploma of graphic design and having a new job in that field. 😅 the money was worth it because I got to publish a book I was proud of and had fun making…. But I haven’t earned that money back yet with sales… 🤭 its a bit sad that you can’t beat the mass producers but I take pride in taking my time to improve my quality (like the new style videos) 💪💪 you definitely don’t need to speed up the process as fast as I did, but i had the window of time to make it so i took it! I definitely recommend even making something for fun even if you don’t publish it yet

I had horrible writers block for a long time while jobless; I felt too guilty to be creative because I knew I needed to get my life sorted first, but now I've finally got my act together and it feels so good to have that creative energy again! Really impressive you were able to achieve so much while faced with such a situation in your life, it sounds like what you've been through would be enough to break many people. I have had lots of struggles sharing my art too and feeling like i’m not skilled enough but now I’ve decided to just make the stuff I want and to enjoy it! 🤩
