I had someone tell me not to pray for my family's protection because God might want to use something like a car accident to get their attention. What do you think of that?

I needed to hear this. I have been praying for someone who puts his trust in riches, but I haven’t seen any changes in him, and I have asked the Lord if I should continue praying for him. However, this makes me understand that God will cause him to be disappointed in his idols (money, cars, businesses, etc.). I just need to keep praying for him, and only God knows how to work in his life.
Keep praying trust me I did this for my boyfriend for a long time. I felt same as you until the Lord got me to step back , do a fast and pray in faith while i was stepped back from our relationship. When the Lord told me to return to this man his strong hold of money was gone ! He told me he now understands the fear of the Lord. His life has drastically changed. I literally see his new sprit. Thank you Jesus ❤ the lord used a humbling job to correct this issue. He almost lost everything , the Lord put him in a place he had no choice but to be humble. Keep praying 🙏 the Lord will do the impossible to those who wait and have faith

Last night I was losing it, my emotions and feelings running over my broken faith. Blocking many christian channels and laid down to sleep. I thought one more refresh to block some more channels and there it was. Oh wow! I have been praying for my sister after I decided no-contact was the best solution since she's made her live-in bf, her idol. Many times I invited her to our Church and she refused or went but wasn't completely there. She then claimed she was Catholic (what our Mom wanted for us, however neither of them attended Church.) Our Mom passed away and now my sister claims to be Christian just because the guy she's with attended a Christian Church as a little boy (he is almost 52.) All of a sudden, she was interested in going to the Church my fam and I attend only because he wanted to "try again". I figured, at least she is interested even if it's because of him but shortly after attending for a lil over a month, they stopped going and they moved in together and do things opposite to what God wants. I dreamt he left her and she realized she messed up. Not sure if this video is confirmation but she needs to wake up out of her trance and I hope the dream and this video are connected.

Thank your encouragement. However, I hope you can understand that most homosexuality is not what we can choose. There is still some homos like me choose God and yet cannot understand why. Hi, it's been almost 2 months since our relationship ended. I always pray to God for my ex-gf. Um every once in awhile I turn to a drink, but not to get drunk.. just one to relax. Yes i have the word open and yes i know Jesus. But there's someone in the church, of a church that bothers me a great deal. Who he supposedly is or was in the Kingdom. If he gets back up there.. it's very intense and dangerous. The little girl did not purposefully soften the old man's heart, but it was her presence that made his heart soften. In this way you could understand the phrase, "God hardened Pharaoh's heart" to mean that in the presence of God, Pharaoh's heart would grow more hard. His hardness came from himself thus.
