I own two of the non-pro versions of this. And I’ve compared them to several binoculars in the field under all sorts of lightning conditions at dusk, bright sun Long range with heavy Maroge, and even at night. And I will tell you these far outperform anything in the price range an outperform most binoculars even up to $1000 price. I went long range hunting with some friends who had some $1200 and $1800 vortex binoculars. my Midas perform just as well under some very difficult lighting conditions with heavy mirage while looking for small animals out to 2000 yards. The $1800 binoculars did perform better ever so slightly, but very very slightly. On a side note I have used them few times for stargazing and they’re quite excellent at night time.

Great feedback there! I hope you subscribed and leave more. I'll try them out stargazing next looking for comet A23.

I own the non-pro version and totally happy with it. Took it to Sportsman's warehouse and compared it to binos in the 1K-3K range. It keeps up with binos up to $1,500. It is only bested by alpha glass in the $2-3K range and not by much!!

That's a big bump up in price to get better performance.

@@MoondogReviews Even if I had the money, I do not see significant enough bump in performance to justify going from $350 (what I paid for my Midas 12x50 ) to $3,200 for a Swaro.

350?! Where did you get that deal?

@@MoondogReviews It was on Amazon about a year or perhaps a little longer ago. One of those flash sales that is gone the next day or even a few hours later.

This is a good concise review, with good image selection. The binocular model interets me and i would consider purchasing these. The image a 4:14 clearly shows chromatic aberration, with green fringing on the left side and red fringing on the right side of the target board. There is also some slight fringing at the top and bottom of the target.

Thanks! That fringing is minor compared to my Leupold and other Athlon binoculars.

@@MoondogReviews I have the regular Midas 12x50 UHD G2 and notice some yellow fringing but it is minor and not there all the time. I would categorize it as non existent. I have a Neos 10x42 that has more fringing and a Pentax 10x42 that has some fringing. My Midas has the least amount. One thing the Midas 12x50 has that my other binos do not have is corner to corner sharpness.
