I imagine if they used carbon fiber then it’s petg cf. and yes, you are right it’s more rigid. Also holds up better to heat (won’t deform till about 180 degrees Celsius). Only downside is adhesion kinda sucks (meaning it’ll break easier than non CF under impact).
