Janice De Belen's Kimchi Fried Rice | Episode 5

- Kimchi Fried Rice
Ingredients:
-Spam
-1 Egg
-Kimchi
-Green Onions/Scallions
-Gochujang Paste (you can find this in any Korean grocery store or at the Korean isle of your supermarket)
-Soy Sauce
-Cooked Rice
For garnish (optional):
-Sesame Seeds
-Sesame Oil
1. Fry Spam. Toast all sides. Set aside.
2. Fry egg sunny side up. Set aside.
3. In the same oil, saute scallions/green onions.
4. Cut Kimchi into small pieces.
5. Saute kimchi together with scallions.
6. Add gocujang and soy sauce (according to your taste).
7. Add rice (day old cooked rice is better).
8. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
9. Put Kimchi rice in serving bowl. Top with egg, more scallions and fried spam.
10. Garnish with sesame seeds and sesame oil.
Take a picture and enjoy!
