rough for us too lol. pivots wont stay running, nor the motors they’re hooked to, gotta change a gearbox dang near everyday. only got 11 pivots and every single one besides the 2 1/2 mile long hydrolic ran ones are having problems and thankfully those are running well because in my opinion they’re the most important on the farm, they water around 600 acres in the week it takes them to get around lol, good luck the rest of this season so all the farmers that see this lol.. coming from the arkansas delta farming cotton beans and rice ! 🌾
Massive respect to you I run a dairy farm in the Netherlands and it's interesting to see how the US has a completely different way of farming, I've never heard anyone planting peanuts before. Yall even use different plows than us Europeans. Here in Europe we irrigate a lot less because we have naturally more organic matter keeping the soil nice and compact. Another interesting thing is how biological farmers in the US stick to no-till and in Europe they work a lot with cover-crops.
Field Net now let's u correct alignment faults from the app. Just go the opposite direction, it will run 3 seconds and fault out. Keep repeating until it's happy.
You can't row crop cultivate the peanuts? I used to do the soybeans with the old 6 row 30" cultivator on the Oliver 1800.... long hot summer days with no cab.... but the radio worked!
You can but you can’t get to close to the peanuts because anywhere where there are leaves it pegs down into the ground and creates a peanut. So you’d only be able to use like 8 inch sweeps and that wouldn’t do enough
So it’s better to row crop cultivate when the peanuts are still tiny. We like to put down more residuals instead of disturbing the ground with cultivating we feel like that method holds the weeds down a bit better. The more we work the ground the more weeds come up

Well I’m definitely not the only one with pivot issues best of luck to you and hopefully you can get your pivots to stay running longer than a day lol
The new Lindsay assembly’s are much better built. They’re closer to a valley, which we never have problems with.

I have a cotton farm in west Texas and irrigation is also rough
