I used to like the Orleans but last World Series of poker I played there and felt everything you just said. I won't be going back . My favorite locals rooms are red rock and Southpoint
Lived in LV 23 years. Absolutely loved the Orleans poker room. Great staff, easy access with free parking. Garage is right next to the poker room. Only place you can play Omaha H/L day or night. Wish your vlog had been a little longer!!
I remember the Orleans being one place that still has OE (Mixed Game Omaha 8/Stud 8) as a tourrnament--with South Point having had it until a few months ago. Other thing I remember Orleans for was their double deck 3:2 Blackjack game. Great to see the place featured--even if it is in an area where checking your six regularly is highly recommended. Also the tomato removal never gets old. That is a hallmark running gag for sure. 😄
Orleans isn't gonna knock your socks off, but it IS a good place for gambling for on the cheaper. Lots of games are gravitating towards 1-3 as opposed to 1-2. You wouldn't think that dollar makes a difference, but it does. Vastly.
I stay @ Orleans when i get to Vegas. They treat me terrific & the rooms are nice. I feel i have a chance in the casino. Outside is a tiny bit sketchy, maybe. I have never had one issue there . I ❤️ the Orleans
It's Tropicana & Arville. Definitely a hot zone. We stayed at the Orleans for a week in 2021. Great property. Be careful on the outside and pay attention to your surroundings. I use the Valet at The Orleans, it was free when you stayed., they're super nice and quick car return
You're so right Trooper. Around 10 years ago I saw a fight in the parking lot of the Orleans that left one guy lying on the ground with blood coming out of his skull. I will say that Fuddruckers is a great burger. I wish Vegas kept the one near Summerlin
Trooper knows very well you can drive around las vegas for years with no license plates or insurance with nothing happening to you. Why he thinks people will be cited for taking a pic on a bridge is a mystery .
Trooper you are the best!! Love the local playlist!! Can you give us a report on: Sam’s Town Silver Sevens Palace Station Cannery Poker Palace Skyline Club Fortune
There is some appeal to the Orleans. I like the 8/16 Omaha game as well as the convenience to park. Is it the nicest place in town, not by a long shot. I like a lot of the staff there as well.
I am a reg in the 8/16 O8 and he is wrong. The parking lot/garage at Boulder station is much more dangerous than than the Orleans. It is a sketchy area filled with street walkers but not nearly as bad.
The trick is NOT to ask for "No Tomato" and let them include it. That way you get a faint tomato taste and a bit of that grease pulled when you discard the tomato.
Me and the wife was just in Vegas to see Usher's last show saturday. But I wish I could of played at the Orleans on sunday for $200 tournament $50,000 guarantee. I will definitely play there next time.
Wow... That place looked empty. Well... It wasn't a Friday night. Use to be something of a wait list to be able to stay at the Emerald Suites across the street. Is pretty safe as far as weekly or monthly stays go. Tried to stay there once myself. Was told that there was no vacancy and that some of the folks living there have been there for years. Your not wrong about the Budget Suites nearby though. Folks have disappeared just walking through the place. I once stayed at one of them. The one farthest away from Las Vegas Blvd. That one was the safest of the three. The one closest had the most "gang" activity. This was 20 years ago for me. Now that the football stadium and such, can only guess at what it's like now. I see that the rake must have gone up. Don't think they charger for parking though. Thanks for your review. Glad I'm a vet and can park for free when I'm there...
Been playing at the Orleans since the room opened in the 90's. No incidents, felt safe, good staff, good promos, good game selection, especially if you like to play limit games. Lots of locals which creates a more stubborn game sometimes, but everything else outweighs it.
Not a big fan of the Orleans. Too many shady characters at that place, and they are in a really bad area. I avoid it, even though the minimums are decent.
I played there once. Fun waitress uniforms looked nice was up 40 then down 60. Kinda looked like it was time to reel me in but I bailed. The faces were just as you described. : )

At The Orleans you are almost guaranteed to see two old farts get in an argument over something incredibly pedantic and I love it.
I used to like the Orleans but last World Series of poker I played there and felt everything you just said.
I won't be going back .

We loved the Orleans....Stayed at the Orleans twice and had nothing but a great experience, never felt unsafe at all...
Apparently you never wandered off property. The street out front is notorious for drugs & prostitutes.

I love this old school type of stuff Trooper. You made my night
Still loving the tomato toss😂. So glad that troll made a big deal out of it years ago, you have been consistently great over the years.

It's 25 percent increase.. total blinds $4 vs $3... that'd be like 5/10 becoming 6.75/13.50
Congrats on bagging another win!
Think he lost
Yea you finally made it to my hood, glad you didn't get mugged. Thanks Troop.
I like the Orleans. I've binked a couple of tourneys...and had more than a few "high hands". The staff has been very good as well.

the street he was pointing at was Cameron. Arville is on the other side
Ty Trooper!
Thanks for the information about the pedestrian bridges , but I think like you said, taking photos and videos will still allowed
Thank You Trooper for this video.
F1 has left 'town...
Colder weather 'action...
= old school 'Trooper vlog 👍👍
With the pedestrian bridges they are doing it for those reasons you stated AND for future F1 races so people can’t watch for free lol
. 26 seconds in ... so sad 2 C it is a less than 15-minute video😢. Come on man ... waited all day to enjoy coffee time w/ T97. Ann,
You're so right Trooper. Around 10 years ago I saw a fight in the parking lot of the Orleans that left one guy lying on the ground with blood coming out of his skull. I will say that Fuddruckers is a great burger. I wish Vegas kept the one near Summerlin
They don’t want me to realize my xylophone plan lol man I was going to try but poker ♣️s me. Fun vid
I never go down Tropicana when I go to the Orleans. Go down Flamingo then turn on Arville. Park in the garage next to the poker room.
Casinos in Nevada reported nearly $1.32 billion in gaming win for this past October, according to state regulators.
Trooper always bumping the banging music!
Trooper knows very well you can drive around las vegas for years with no license plates or insurance with nothing happening to you. Why he thinks people will be cited for taking a pic on a bridge is a mystery .
I said I do NOT think it will be enforced. Pay attention
Trooper you are the best!! Love the local playlist!!
Can you give us a report on:
Sam’s Town
Silver Sevens

Only one with a poker room is poker palace, far as I know
Trooper, I have been wearing glasses since I was 11. Putting your glasses face down like that gives me anxiety.

@@nicholasvollaro4727 I have never had a problem at the Orleans Parking lot at all hours....Just keep an eye on my surroundings.
4 people just reported shot 4 blocks or so from Boulder Station. Why anyone would go there is beyond me

😂U read my mind about the tomato. Just a taste. it was a good looking tomato today😋
🤣🤣 Way to much credit to my methodology 😂😂
Yeah but tell me that it tastes the same. To me it doesn't. Just some accidental genius thing happened..
Been a while since you had a juicy burger and coffee out there 😊
Hope you get it back,tomorrow.🤷♀️🙆♂️
Arville is the cross street I believe on 1 side and Cameron on the other
Correct
Yes yes yes... Orleans where poker players go to Die!!! Nasty
Balmy 70’ chillin on patio, a trooper episode right on time
Four months out I miss Vegas. Aug 2024
Me and the wife was just in Vegas to see Usher's last show saturday. But I wish I could of played at the Orleans on sunday for $200 tournament $50,000 guarantee. I will definitely play there next time.
A motel is a 'motor' hotel. You can drive your car up to your room's door.
Tomato and pickle on a burger is classic. Other than that great video as always trooper. lol.

They are going after people watching f1 for free.😊
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen some Golden Nugget Fremont street action
Down below.
Follow your gut instinct ❤
No poker room more depressing in vegas then the orleans, brave man you are
My favorite cash poker room is golden nugget, luv it

Perfectly good Tomato in the F........ Trash 🗑️😢
Only a single slice, not a whole tomato.
@trooper97vlog loving these #localpoker vlogs. Would Santa Fe Casino or Green Valley Ranch be considered #localpoker?
Gvr hasn't had room since pandemic..
Played santa fe and yep!

Hello Trooper! 😊
Thx Greg😊
I really like the Orleans… A great base camp casino/hotel…
Hi Trooper! I used to watch your vlog all the time. Are you still grinding the low stakes for a living?
Grinding life.
That's a No-Tell Motel!
Cameron street is sketchy, especially late
Wud Up Trooper
Try cream of 🥕 soup recipes... yum 😊 Ann

Bro is recording with camera from 1990
Tomato toss lololol. That you gave it a title is even better!
Trooper… did you ever try that “ Luke’s Lobster “ … if yes , how is it?
Great lobster rolls.
Never have!
Nit on Nit crime at that hole all day fir sure 😅
Why no tomatoes ??? Answer this elephant in the room.
Raw tomato on burger is gross.
Raw tomato with salt & pepper alone is good.
Cooked tomato is almost always good.
