Great tutorial regardless of the board not being perfect, but it was nice that you continued to show your audience real life when things are not perfect
I feel like it’s always a gamble with resin. Just poured a big piece about 10 minutes ago that came out great. 20 minutes later did another and turned out with a bit of a disaster. One day we will have it all figured out
It turned out really nice! Was great when your partner joined you… he should definitely be in your videos with you! Congrats on your first tutorial… I have subscribed and am looking forward to more videos! ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Thank you! Really appreciate it. Another one is already in the works. Shane is a little shy, maybe I can persuade him after seeing your message to join in on the next video. Thank you
@@surfghettoresin1085 Yes, I can tell he was a bit awkward but he is also funny! I totally get his ‘shyness’… I’ve been trying to get my channel started for months but have yet to find the courage… don’t tell that but though!! 🤣
Pretty cool all the same … I think the resin was still a bit watery to do the waves straight away and perhaps the white could’ve been pushed right back each time so you get that layer effect underneath. But as you say it’s personal preference and I like it! Lots of people let resin scare them … you certainly aren’t one of them 😂 good job. Looking forward to watching more. Do you sell your art? I’m just getting back into it again after a long stay in hospital. Thanks for the fun videos, there’s far too many serious people out there …
Thank you! Not perfect but hey it’s hand made. We originally started selling our art just to continue to pay for supplies, now it’s so much more than that. Glad to hear your back into it, have fun!
I try to not get the resin on my hands in the first place as much as possible but almost inevitably it gets on me somewhere. We keep alcohol hand wipes handy or just paper towels that we must with alcohol. Seems to work the best! For this piece I used Promarine epoxy resin, the pigments are from a surf shop called Bashams

good work. liked you showing the mistake of an un-level board and how you can correct mistakes. well done.
Thank you! We try to keep this channel realistic and let’s be honest with resin something always goes wrong even after years of practice.
Lovely peace💥❤
The close up at the end- the colors are so pretty! Well done ♥
Thank you! I’m glad the colors come through on the camera. Appreciate you watching all the way until the end
Ah, thank you for this! I suck at creating waves correctly, so I avoid it of course. Lol. Best wishes from a Florida girl!

We aren’t polished by any means. Just trying to figure it out but it’s a fun process. You definitely just need to go for it and have fun
beautiful
Thank you. Next one will have better cells. Keep an eye out for it!
I thought you said " we're gonna finish up with a shot 🥃" 😂
But I loved the final piece 🥰
Looks great!😀
Thank you! Hopefully I pick a flat piece of wood for the next one 🤦♀️

prefect great tutorial how do you get the resin off your hands also what brands are you using

Please list what you are using.
Oh my gosh! Thank you. That should go without saying but I hadn’t thought of that 🤦♀️
when you say the clear is the just part A or b
The “clear” is the mixed A and B with no other pigments in it. Just straight mixed resin
