Hola Matt! We had a great day out on the water! I wanted Dorado for the fridge/freezer and we caught three really good sized fish. We also were hoping to catch and release a sailfish but did not catch one. Maybe that is where your fishing luck came into play😅! I have to give my wife credit as she tracked down Edger. I have also fished for Roosters with Adolpho and we had a great day catching 5 plus a couple of large Jack Crevalle. Two different types of fishing but both captains are knowledgeable, friendly and run clean safe boats!

Great info. 2 good rec's for fishing excursions for anyone interested. Nice work reeling in the fish, perhaps Ali will cook me up some dorado this week!

Hola! We love Edgar!!! We fish with him every time we visit Zihua. My husband fished with him last Wednesday and again on Saturday. This was the first time he caught some dorado there. And I agree with the bathroom situation…definitely for the dudes! 😅 Thanks for the video because I missed being there this time. 😢

Edgar is my main man for deep sea fishing in Zihua and has become a great friend as well. Andres, or Andy as he’s also known is a great fisherman and a very nice and interesting person. As Kelly said, we fished last Wednesday and Saturday and has great success and made lots of memories. Seeing Edgar every year is like reuniting with family and the bonds go much further than out mutual love the sea and fishing.

Hey Matt I know how to make guacamole if you want to share some fish! The one you caught is called Barrilete. Feliz Navidad! I won’t be back until February. See you then.
