I have climbed both the pitons and Mount GIMIE. I love St Lucia. My parents are from there. I stayed at Anse Chastenet & Royal St Lucian hotels. Will try the Ladera resort next. The hot springs is awesome. You forgot to mention the amazing diamond falls. I know places on that island that no tourist visits that will blow your mind

I never captured any video due to my camera packing up under the heat. I do have some old video footage from my long ago travel there. I have to transfer it to Mpeg then I can upload it. St Lucia is the best place I have been and it's heaven. If You ever visit there do a walk on saltibus road. St Lucia 🇱🇨 for many years have been voted the #1 destination for honeymooners. It is a very popular wedding 💒 destination. I have worked in Tourism on the island 🏝 for 10 years and it offers an excellent Tourism product. The staff is well equipped and trained and the people are warm and friendly. They cater for the very high end and also for the bagpack 🎒 tourists. With the onset of Covid19 they have done an excellent job at controlling and containing. They are regulations in place but l highly recommend the island 🏝 to you. I travel all over the globe 🌎 and always compare the services offered in St Lucia 🇱🇨 and its top quality.
You was working you wasn’t a tourist,so how you know it’s good?
@@wichorast I have been living and working in the USA for over 20 years and l go back every year to St Lucia as a tourist. I was there as recent as March 2022 , so l know of what l speak both from working in Tourism there and subsequently visiting the Island as a tourist.

You will be there in Hurricane season. Lots of rain but lovely warm rain and very green tropical plantation. I visited from July to September for a 6 weeks period and have visited from Jan to May 4 months period. This place is heaven on earth

Definitely recommend if you feel comfortable driving in foreign countries. Should provide more flexibility, freedom to move about and less expensive than taxi services. But note there are a lot of winding roads and driving is on the left side of the road.

Another UA-camr I watch is there right now. I think travel is slow but they are open and people are still going. I believe they do require a negative covid test and don't currently have a quarantine. But as you know, these things change from one day to the next

Excellent video! One small suggestion would be that you intentionally slow your speaking a bit. It feels hurried, and it takes more effort to understand. Then the video would be 100%! (And since viewers can speed up the video with > key, a slower, more articulate speech would actually sound great played fast!)
