Great discussion! I appreciate his vulnerability to open up about how he feels. And I agree that many in the church have been too casual with the phrase, "I know..." In fact, it leads exactly to what this brother is going through to become skeptical of any truth claims. BUT, there is a danger in swinging the pendulum too far. We should be grateful and embrace the truths we do have! It is delicate line to try and balance for sure.
Great interview. I lived down the street from Tim for a few years and definitely had a few great convos with him on the subject. Tim is a great listener, easy to converse with, and good teacher. One of the best I’ve chatted with over the years about my faith journey.
