I'd accept him, but there's a few I prefer ahead of him. He has this Ohian's endorsement for govenor though! Let's see what he's got first.
I think Vivek would serve better in Trumps cabinet where he would have far more influence. Vice President is just an office where the second in line waits in case something happens to the President.
Vivek should be in an office where he would be able to fire bureaucrats at will and influence that way. The bureaucracy needs to be cleaned out, and vice President wouldn’t have that power.

Let's not focus on the FDA in 2024 or strictly under the guise of pharmaceuticals, let's take a look back over the last 24 years.
Big pharma and big food producers scatter a ton of money throughout Washington annually. No, those are not charitable donations.
What bothers me most about the FDA is the revolving door there. Top researchers and midling executives from the big pharma and food industries are constantly rotating in and out of the FDA through that revolving door. Who's interest do these people represent?
Every federal agency needs to be replaced with individual state agencies that are ultimately answerable to the individual states. The power of the Federal Government must be torn from its hands, and it must be punished for misusing it.
Ordinary people who love this country. They see what I see.

I am about to sue the hell out of my husbands company insurance because I pay over $600 a month for specific insurance because I live in chronic pain for the last 24 years and the untreated pain is causing me to have high blood last two years but the last five months even with two blood pressure medications/fluid pills it stays severely high and it has caused fluid and pressure with severe burning in my head and makes me feel like im drowning when I lay down and the insurance denies my doctors from doing test and they won’t allow these doctors to do their job and prescribe the proper medication and run test!!! I am looking for lawyer as we speak because I am sick of this CORRUPT administration and the corrupt people they hire to do their dirty bloody hand work!!!!! I had a neck procedure done almost two years ago that went wrong almost two years ago and to be denied testing is beyond making me LIVID!!!

A major problem, in my opinion, that has grown massively over the past 15-20 years is self diagnosing, and out right hypochondria has been dang big pharma commercials and of course social media has fueled this. On the flip, doctors selling their presciption pads to pharmecutical companies is a huge problem that most would agree in. As much disdain as I have for the FDA, and the medical community in general, I agree there's a better plan but my concern is that an actual free market in what we call prescription medications would only fuel both of my intial points. We really need to start openly discussing self diagnosing and how have a "Diagnoses" has not only enabled those looking for excuses and even a disability check, but its very literally become a fad.

FDA just want their kick backs
The world without the FDA for drugs, would be like the world in diagnostics of lab developed tests, which do not (yet) require FDA approval. It is a better world, perhaps much better. Why? Because the quality requirements of the lab are stricter than those of the FDA, and because the insurance coverage requires better (and in some cases more) clinical evidence, including utility, than the FDA. At best, the FDA would be superfluous; at worst, they are a barrier to health and may even encourage poor tests. There is no reason to fear that lab developed tests are somehow not as good or are less safe with or without the FDA. Moreover, and Vinay should like this, insurance coverage decisions, and therefore test utilization, change as the evidence evolves. Just because something is deemed good today, doesn’t mean it will be tomorrow if the data changes, and vice versa.
FDA is counter-intuitive to the Just say No to DRUGS War on DRUGS campaigns lol
