Yes, he is beautiful and young but has an old soul. The feels come right out of his pores into your very core. He's right up there with the greats of old who also had this ability...like Janis, Otis Redding, Al Green, and I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two others. 🎶❤🎶
The Bass & Drums are killing it!!! and then on top of it Paulo Nutuni's unique soul voice at the absolute peak of his abilities. And the fearlessness he shows in his ability to close his eyes to mean every word he sings and to take you, the listener, into his world.
He's the kind of artist you don't want to share with anyone, and you don't want anyone to know of him. His work is so damn artistic that you never get enough of it !!

The subtle guitars in the background, with a quiet drumming back beat, sublime. Then that pounding drumming kicks in and boooom. Magic. The horn section starts up, so 60's. You just get used to that fast rhythm, then it goes all soft play again to bring your head back down to earth. These musicians really deserve credit too. They're not just playing, they're feeling it.
Its just the way he pulls himself out of the emotion he was feeling in that performance right at the end totally immerses himself in to everything he sings his expression is everything rare rare talent

You know this world is f'up when you see a guy with this much talent and he is hardly known by mainstream. He is one of the finest singers i have ever heard in any genera of music. Perfect looks, gravely voice, and stage presence....how did he not get discovered? It makes me ill.
He did get discovered. His first album was still his style but slightly more poppy and then he just wanted to do his own thing and not be tied down by interfering labels. The best route for him and people like us who like him I think!
If you're going to cover one of the greatest singers of all time...sfirst you have to have balls and courage, then you have reinvent it, take it to a new place - which he did! Respect Paulo - you are a true legend! ;)

I’d not heard of Paola Nutini till I met and cared for his great aunt as a carer only last week. I was a singer myself till a few yrs ago and totally love his style. Fabulous voice and the emotion he puts into it. I’m now a huge fan. My kinda stuff! Love it.
I was looking for an up tempo version for my band to play, this is great. I remember the first time I came across Paula Nutini, it was when he brought out his first single “Jenny don’t be hasty”. I was completely blown away, what a song!
