Have one since Oct 2022. Used all winter for firewoods. Best saw I ever bought. Recommended ! 👍
Thanks for sharing. Husqvarna makes some nice saws. My 7 year old 455 Rancher, with 18 inch bar, is still going strong. It's my firewood saw. Keep 'em maintained proper and they'll run for years.
Great review. Just purchased one myself.
9:55 damn, look at that saw go!!!😂😂😂
I should add that I run a 20" bar on my 346xp which has 3.6hp same as the 545. I would second another comment, that an Echo 590 with 27" bar is a good option.
air you can lock your right elbow keep it straight when cutting your arm won't get so tired.. just be careful.
Looks great, thx for sharing!
Great saw!
Love it . That's very nice .
Wow! That thing is a hard worker! We need to look more at that one.
i have the 550 mark 2 which is alittle more high strung than the 545. just screams higher but these new 545 and 550 saws are very impressive and work harder then their 50cc engine displacement. cant go wrong with either one of the two and itll probably become your favorite even with having a 372xp
I looked it up and it said 20" max for the bar. Have you tried a bigger bar?
Thank you sir for this review
I wouldn’t put a 28” on that unless the saw is ported and the clutch is upgraded
He didn’t he actually left it the way we bought it it is still a good saw

Good video

I just bought one at mardens in maine for 435 it weighs 14.5 lbs with the bar and chain
You better bought it when ya saw it at Mardens😁
You sold me at that suckers pretty powerful
Lol
They don’t make a small mount husqvarna bar in 28”. And it would absolutely wreck your clutch. Sure it would barely pull it. And cook that clutch right along with it. Those saws are best with a 18 or 20” bar.
If you need something bigger. Get a echo cs590
Even in stock form those will pull a 28”. Not impressively but it’ll do it. (I port my own saws and make ‘em run harder)
We aren’t putting a 28 inch bar on that saw if we need a bigger bar we will invest in a bigger saw
Will it pull a 24" bar? I plan on doing the muffler mod because I've heard it gives the saw a good little bump up in torque.
@@MrEunderwood It would easily run a full skip 24" chain...might be difficult to find a skip chain in that length I've never really looked
@@MrEunderwood A 562xp would be sweet with a 24" bar. I run my 572xp with a 24" bar a majority of the time and it's a beast
@@MrEunderwood From what I understand a 20" bar is the longest Husky recommends...at least running a full comp chain. I haven't run mine enough to know if it would oil a longer bar sufficiently
Looking after Fiona
My 346xp is a predecessor to the 545 and my favorite saw. But if you intend on using a 28" bar on your 545 and then then bury it in a tree, I fear you could burn it up! If you want a reasonably priced, quality saw that can run up to a 27" bar, I would, look at an Echo 620. If you can't afford another top quality saw, a Farmertec G660 with 92cc will get those big cuts done.
346xp is the predecessor of the 550xp
A where do you find the serial number on 545mark ll pro
Located near the oil fill cap on most handhelds. For chainsaw models 340, 345, 350, 351, 353, 346XP, it's located on bar side of the saw, under the handle.
On the engine under cover
Big saw attitude in a small saw. Comfortable anti vibe chassis. I run one a lot. #TheScreamingDemon
Oh also! Change out that 20 inch bar for an 18 and .325 chain. It really eats then. 😎
thanks for the information
Is this about the same size as the Stihl ms261?
Idk
Yes, they are both 50cc pro saws
The 550xp and ms261 are direct competitors
