You haven't noticed that they have not even tried to input "environmental data" into anti-freya.

The Suzaku moment had way more impact than the ash moment. Lelouch and Suzaku being unstoppable together, spinzaku, etc.
Exactly. That moment was on a completely different level in my opinion. No point of comparation with this episode 🙈
There also chemistry between Suzaku and Lelouch, In beginning Lelouch wanted Suzaku by his side but became enemies but later put aside there difference and worked together for the greater good. They truly valued there friendship but Ash and Roze don't have that comradery, There "sibling" relationship is based on a giant lie.
It's a completely different context, because this is newer technology and easier to use. No surprise.
@@Zeroknight34 The ash and sakuya relation has chances of being good but looking at the current episodes, they will probably try to copy another moment from the original Copy Geass anime and ruin it.

One problem I have with Neo-Britannia is how their pride, smugness and arrogance feels unearned compared to the original Britannia, especially because Neo-Britannia seems even more arrogant than the original. In the original Anime, Brittania at least controlled all of Japan, along with one third of the world. They were the worlds superpower. In Roze on the other hand Neo-Britannia only controls Hokkaido, and only because they hide behind their energy plot armor wall. They cannot take on the UFN, yet they act as smug as if they controlled most of the world.
Not to mention that some of the greatest devicers of the world, Kallen and Suzaku, are known to be japanese, yet they the green haired Einberg acts worse than Jeremiah did in the first episode.
This level of arrogance simply feels unearned, if not delusional, especially compared to the orginal Anime.

Yeah if Laloch was there they would have gotten through within the first day. But even with him not being there it shouldn't take them 4 years and to failed attempts to get in.
I think that might be the point. They're still living off the previous "power" that Britannia once had and admitting they're wrong isn't easy for people who were once at the top of the world now having to scrounge about. They've deluded themselves into thinking that they'll not only recapture the glory days but be even better because they won't make the same mistakes the previous regime made.
They also had competent people like Cornelia, Suzaku, Lloyd, Cecile, Guilford, etc.
Third of the world? almost half of it... for me Neobritannia isn't something that couldn't have happened in fact it would be stranger for a nation with so much territory and extremely well consolidated as Britannia to just disappear (it seems there were millions of people happy to be Britannian citizens all over the world), I mean to be fair in the OG anime Britannia did not dissappeared, just changed to a more "permisive" management, so while Leloch Geassed the mayority of high ranking nobels to obey him (and probably Nunally in the future), there must been hundreds of local nobles which may or may not be willing to obey Nunally and the geassed higher ranking nobles.
In fact it would be probable that america (all north, central and south america were Britannia) would just refuse to stop being the empire, so local nobility would just dethrone Nunally or plainly ignore her orders and then bussiness as usual, The strange and incoherent thing is that it happened again in Japan, I mean, did not the Black knights kinda eliminated all Britannia's presence in Japan before the OG anime ended? it is stupid, I am watching this anime with my brain turned off in order to at least enjoy the mechs fights and the waifus, but men the plot is pretty stupid.
For me this is the waste of the decade in terms of anime franchise potentials, there were many routes to take in a post imperial Brtiannia world, but they decided to do the most mediocre thing possible, just like the first order in Star Wars "Somehow, Palpatine returned".

Suzaku would body all those pilots 😂 but I agree with ya. Only SUZAKU and L2 could pull off a .04 seconds shut down on basically the atom bomb or worse 😂 it’s no wonder they had to nerf our OG characters lol
I have a theroy, well 2, one" I think Securicor man will be a big threat in the future, like discovering geass or a hint of an idea of it, like when he looked into solder losing their memory, two" i think Norlan not only has Geass but permeant geass from overuse, his mask would cover it well.
I agree with everything you said in your 'Roze of Recapture' videos. The thing that annoys me the most is not that the plot is shallow or anything, but the 'continuation problems' if I can call them that. For example, new characters introduced that would be extremely relevant in Lelouch of Rebellion like Norland and Kensei Kuroto. There's also the fact that they didn't mention important characters, but you've already covered these points in your videos.
Still, I'm enjoying 'Roze of the Recapture' (maybe only because it's Code Geass + the fan service in the first minute of episode 4). Also, I'm somewhat new to your channel and want to say that your videos are really enjoyable. I watched Code Geass back in 2009-2010, and it has been my favorite anime since then. Besides the 'Lelouch of Resurrection' movie and the picture dramas released from 2007-2009, I haven't watched anything else, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but the original anime 'Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R1' and 'R2' are not related to this series. This one is related to the movies released from 2017-2019, which came before 'Lelouch of Resurrection' and are set in a 'different universe.' so their Masterpiece stays untouched, right?

This anime has a bad habit of not really flushing out the main inside characters things are just kind of happening and we are expected to like certain people and feel sad when they die. Take the bertonian emperor boy they killed off. We see him one time and then he's dead within that same episode.
8:29 One thing that anime in general always overestimates is the williness of a normal soldier to carry out this kind of acts of killing or executing people in cold blood, many people would refuse to shot someone else point blank, unless we are talking about two etnicities that really hate each other, but kill your own fellow tribemen in cold blood? Is something you wouldn't do even under complicated circunstances without a good reason (also they could have just knot them down with the weapons or something not nessesarily killing them there are a lot of ways to subdue unarmed people even those who seem to be in some kind of trance, just beat the shit out of them with the weapon and thats it XD).

What I like the most of this episode I think it was que final cliffhanger. Somehow it is a sign that things will be more interesting from now on, even some things doesn't have that much sense yet. Good video 🤗

I feel like norland has another fleija up his sleeve. For throughout the episode they made it a point about the extra and neo britiannia jsing all of theirs. I feel norland has one extra as a trump card against the black knight invasion he is trying to force i feel. We will see. The next epsidoe shoukd be the end of the second movie right? So i am expectong some kind of reveal and plot setup for the next movie.

From what I can see the episode was fun to watch. Had plenty of action and character interactions. But the feeling you're suppose to get from some of the more impressive set pieces doesn't feel quiet as epic as it should because there's not the amount of build up as in the original series. It feels more like they're speed running through these cool events than giving them time to percolate. They're good, but it's easy to see they could have been so much better.
Narah is also awesome. If the consequences for thinking that are getting slapped then I take my "punishment".
I hate how this show is a soulless shallow shameless imitation of the original code geass. Complete with transparent grabs for nostalgia, when it's just more mimicry.
