- Hello there. My first Darkride in Planet Coaster is finally done.
It´s a 8 minutes long Ghostttrain called "Hotel Dusk". In this Video I will show you the whole ride and the main building of it.

Hotel Dusk:
The Theme is an old big Hotel in the middle of nowhere. The ride will take you deep inside the building to find its secrets. Tons of rideeffects will amuse or scare you. But find it out yourself.

They need a LOT of spooky things in this game for players to make a proper dark ride. still, this was nice.
RCT3 did the spooky theme better, actually parodying those old 80s and 90s horror theme parks.

The ride is very cool but I am completely blown away by the outside of the hotel. Waw!!!! I want that in my park.

Awesome job... I don't have the patience for this, but I can imagine after 7 minutes on the ride, some of the peeps saying: "I want to get off Classic Car Ride 1"
The ride and the whole appearance are superb!!! One of the best i have seen.... The only -little- critic i have is that the music theme is kinda exhausting to listen to after a few minutes. But the sounddesign is also on point. Great work :)
I love all the haunted house rides, but this was really awesome
Fantastic ride, love the Haunted Mansion vibes up top and the Pirates of the Caribbean vibes in the caves below.

Just gave you like number 400... Nice work on this one. Your design of the hotel is awesome. The ride itself is a tour within the possibilities of the current state of the game. More new content means more exitement to be placed along the ride. But overall; WELL DONE !!!

Wow this is great. We don't have much in the way of scary halloween type things yet but you used what we have and made something amazing from it. I can't wait to see what you can do with stuff made for halloween builds.

You might think this might be scary but worry not, you will NOT see lightning bolts here though this ride does has little regions of near-total darkness.

Ok, great scenery, but i feel the lack of a story here kinda hurts the experience. For example, you have this great setup when the lights go out in the hall, and then you see this evil jester, and then you see his secret spell lair in the library, but then the first set piece you have is the kitchen on fire? Before you introduce the jester? that feels like more of a final scene, where you use the furnace to burn the hotel down ala The Shining. It feels like just a series of room one after another, which (in my opinion) isn't fun to watch.

Hi. Thats Easy. I just build Diagonal Walls as another Building and move them in the angle I want. One of the Features why I like this Game a lot.

I wish the game had more special effects to use.. This ride is amazing but still could've used more pop-up things.. I still think it could be a little better. Like that door that opened up with the monster inside. Hi. You can find signs under Scenery/Signs in the game. Nothing special.
FSFRanger I don't find a sign with Hotel Dusk 🤔
You can write your own Text on a Sign.
It's a nicely constructed ride, especially the exterior, but as for the journey, it was quite boring IMO. You need to take some stronger lessons from the ultimate awesome dark ride, The Haunted Mansion, at Disneyland. There should be a lot of excellent trigger event jump scares, interesting animations going on here and there, more crazy lighting and environmental weirdness to make the ride truly worth investing time to ride. There's just nothing going on for nearly the whole trip. Staring a set pieces, even those as cleverly constructed from totally unrelated props, is only good for a short time span, no matter how good the lighting and sound effects are, then you just want to get off the ride. To reiterate, I love what you did, it just needs more to keep the audience from falling asleep in the car other than good architecture, lighting and sounds. I totally agree with Channel5 Gaming's review that you are amazingly talented in how you've made the whole thing and the props. That, in itself, makes the ride worth looking at, but it still needs more to the adventure as you pass through it. Actually, a better example for bumping up the scares and excitement of the ride would be to take some cues from the great "Haunted Castle" CGI ride by IMAX. Phaota the game just came out not that long ago. Theres not that much to work with as of yet. for what he had to work with this ride was top notch.
As much as I agree with your points, I have to say that your comment was a little crude considering that "interesting animations, crazy lighting, and environmental weirdness" is extremely hard to create effectively right now in Planet Coaster. Most animated objects are minor things like a pirate who shoots, or a knight who marches back and forth. Making something more fitting for this situation like a skeleton jumping out at you, would be nye on impossible. So, yes, I agree that the ride needs more frightening mechanics, but I have to gives props to FSFRanger for having the guts to still try and make something like this even with the lack of objects.

Am Anfang schön, aber spätestens beim dritten Mal Wiederholung der Musik nervt es gewaltig. Besser wäre es, wenn du da deine eigene Musik rein gemacht hättest oder ein Soundtrack der 8 Minuten lang ist. Gibt da auch viele Copyright freie Soundtracks.

Hi. Thank you for that information. It would be more serious if I earn money with creations like that. But I build and share rides in my freetime and just for fun. One important rule is to add the names of the real Creators, thats for sure. I also think he used one of the Phantom Manor Buildings from the Workshop. He really should add the names of the Creators. Using, rebuild and sharing it again is no problem for me. If he claim it as his own building/creation, then we have a problem.
I previously asked him to credit the original authors, which he didn't. Instead deleted my comment and went silent. Reported him.

I´ve actually didnt know that there was a Game called like this when I made this. It´s nearly unpossible to come up with a completely new Name these days.

Hi. This was my first Darkride in a very early stage of Planet Coaster. I had to do all the things piece by piece. If I look back it´s sure its empty. Take a look at "Night of Damnation" or "Villa Nachtmahr" if you want to see something more exciting.
The hat that hides the view is totally annoying.
