FYI: Waiola has another location off of Kapahulu nearer to Waikiki (near Leonard's) Mmmm...Steak looked amazing and Gelato sounds so refreshing. The weather has been a bit cooler and yes, breezy, so it's been very pleasant so far! Thanks for visiting.

When I was in my late 20s (79 84) I sent my mom (she loved Hawaii) and 5 yrs later sent her n my 2 sons 5 n 10 and both times the stayed at the exact hotel She loved the international market place everything was within walkin she didn't drive so thank you for the memory. The shaved ice n steak all looked sooo 😋 😋 ❤
@billandlisa if your every in the San Fernando Valley there's a resturant I'd like you to try there's a few but the best is in North Hollywood it's called Salsa n Beer there fajitas there enchiladas there burrito are all soo good the beans have a kick n the prices are reasonable plus a lunch special. Some wonderful drinks authentic ones plus the salsas.try em

OMGOSH.... I stayed at Waikiki Shores years ago. Multiple million $ beautiful condo with the best unobstructed view to the West. Did you know that building is highly used in many advertisements and TV shows. Absolutely the best location for less population on Waikiki.

Agreed, we're always looking at flights to the other islands. One of the problems is the return flight, most are all overnight (and work is in the morning).
Waiola shave ice also has a penny press! If there's a penny press, I'm getting a penny! They made change for me in the store when I didn't have the correct coins. Oh yeah. The shave ice was also delicious!

I left the Beechcomber on Saturday. Stayed on the 18th floor. Second time staying there. Always good. Expensive but everywhere is in Waikiki! Aloha 🤙🏼
