This makes me want to be 14 again. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I was living in the Napa valley in 1994 and I was in highschool! Oh the memories.
That grape juice commercial really sent me back. Watched it one time at my grandpas house and I went to the fridge and well it was in there so i drank some. Best day ever.
I haavee to say a genuine THANK YOU for putting all of these together AND taking it even further by listing them in the description and even some details on select commercials/spots. Thank you so much! Re-living my childhood, nothing like it
Pagers, pay phones with calling cards, ads introducing people to the Internet and what it can do...This was a unique time for sure. Kind of the early start of the tech boom, while older tech was still hanging on its last grasps.
Hooked On Phonics wow man. That takes me back. That was basically how I learned to read that and the school of rock tapes my mom used to have me watch. Ahhh the 90’s simpler times
People have been saying that for 10 years or more. Until they're actually gone, and all of their stores are closed...posting stuff like "RIP Kmart" is misinformation.
@@80sCommercialVault Down to maybe 43 stores as of May during an ongoing pandemic that's devastating businesses? Yeah it's still in business and maybe this number of stores is enough. But it's certainly nowhere NEAR the powerhouse it was at the time of these commercials. Though no business lasts forever.
I'm not suggesting that it is a powerhouse or that it isn't in dire financial straits. I'm trying to fight misleading comments that people commonly post here like "RIP Kmart", when the facts are that it's still in business and you can still go to their website and purchase stuff right now: www.kmart.com/ One of the biggest problems with moderating a youtube channel or basically anything on the internet these days is fighting the spread of false or misleading information. I take it seriously.
The kid stuttering and then delivering "I would like a table for Christmas" was an incredible plot twist. It's one of the most pure, unguessable requests.
Looking forward to more Christmas commercials this year. This is the time of year nostalgia seems to overwhelm. Thanks for archiving this for us to enjoy.
All these 1994 Christmas commercials reminds me I want to upload the stuff on my tape with the Flintstones Christmas Carol, mostly consisting of Mattel commercials, and it features one of my favorite Pizza Hut commercials on it, which surprisingly hasn't been uploaded to youtube. If ever manage to get any of that stuff copied I'd try to send it to you.
Seaquest DSV-since NBC/Universal is launching a streaming service they maybe should look into rebooting this..bu only if its along the lines of the first season Days Of Our Lives-shocking they laid off virtually the entire cast Toys R Us-those Star Trek movie toys mustve tied-in with Generations
I'd love a rebooted SeaQuest, though it'd have to be updated since we've actually passed the timeline of the start of the series (2018). God, and it still seemed so far in the future back in 1993. RIP Roy Scheider and Jonathan Brandis.
Today is the start of the 2019 Christmas Marathon! 25 videos uploaded daily until Christmas!
Thank you again for all your hard work.
Thanks and congratulations on the 300th compilation from the 1990s.
Yes!!!! I owe you for allowing me to create a video playlist that eases my mind into a peaceful sleep.
Miss the 90's
I was just a kid but man I miss the 90s felt like just a safe and good time. These commercials bring me nostalgia of the holidays and just good times
Nothing beats 90s Christmas commercials.
These commercials put me in the mood for Christmas. Today's commercials don't. Thanks for uploading these.

Omg the Toys R Us Christmas commercials. The pinnacle of holiday nostalgia.
The days when me and my brothers would go to blockbuster video and rent a movie on VHS. These moments are special to me.
Truly the last great decade.
Hearing Jonathan Brandis say he hopes to be as good as Jimmy Stewart someday makes me sad.
That grape juice commercial really sent me back. Watched it one time at my grandpas house and I went to the fridge and well it was in there so i drank some. Best day ever.
Nostalgia is such a strange and wonderful feeling. I love that feeling, especially for the holiday season.
I will always be a Toys R Us Kid!
Even if you grow up, you can still be a Toy’s ‘r’ Us kid!
Thank for for uploading these ...the nostalgia I get from watching is amazing.

Hooked On Phonics wow man. That takes me back. That was basically how I learned to read that and the school of rock tapes my mom used to have me watch. Ahhh the 90’s simpler times
Kmart has no one to blame but itself for not being able to keep up with the changing market.
but got damn do I miss them.
Kmart is still in business
@@80sCommercialVault yeah, but not for much longer.

I absolutely need that smooth jazz rendition 'My Favorite Things' from that Mitsubishi ad
I always love those dateline promos 😹
There’s something that’s very nostalgic about it!
I think that everytime I have company over I'm going to screencast this to the tv for ambience

Advertisers in the 90s assumed we really, really, REALLY liked some blues rifts in our commercials.

26:44 - I forgot that Gene Wilder had a sitcom in the 90s. This was probably one of his last major projects he did.

Days of Our Lives got renewed. The cast new about the contract thing. Its all good.

39:58 - Censored!
Who is that announcer in the first commercial?
It's the late Don Pardo, better known as the announcer for SNL from 1975-2014.
Please read the video description.
