The thing about “politeness” is that it has its place, usually in the form of respect to another person during interaction.
Polite only gets you so far. You can be “polite” for 30yrs and not move the needle. Some people take “polite” as “agreeable”.
A polite admonishment is still admonishment.
Some people take your “polite” demeanor as a sign of “weakness” when it’s absolutely not. So they keep pushing until the get a reaction they want to feel like they are in control of someone else. They are not.

@@Rope_Adope Actually Trump is both polite and compassionate but dishes it back to those who falsely slander his name, attack him unfairly, and are downright rude to him. I'd be miffed if he didn't give them a taste of their own medicine. The story never starts with what the other person said before he responded. They Just cut out the cause and report only the effect. If they never attacked him so much, we may never see his bad side. Go and attack Obama 24/7 for 10 years and see if he doesn't end it all in his bedroom. I see absolutely nothing wrong with trump because he has been fighting all the powers that be, and they come in every manner of disguise so as to craft their usual slanderous fairytales. Trump is better than those who judge him by far in all aspects because it takes a horrible person to hate him for no reason except that the powers want him hated. They manipulate dumb freaks to hate mindlessly.

@@RT-ri3bh Trump's history with women is unusual. He chooses women who are very attractive and intelligent. When they start to pull away from him, he lets them go. Only after his 2nd wife and he divorced was there a hint of him playing the playboy. He is disciplined and keeps himself busy with other pursuits.
Trump appears to have learned to restrain himself. The Left in NYC disliked him, before he ran for president. Anything questionable he did would be splashed on the front page of the New York Post.
His courtship of Melania was quite drawn out, taking many months. She was interested, but he kept her at arms length. In many ways, their marriage seemed like a courtship of noble elites. No doubt she has plenty of competition from women, but has there been scandal in their marriage? I've not heard of any.

Trump has spoken to or sincerely attempted to speak to every family of soldiers who died while he was president.
Every disaster, every attack, I found myself immediately looking at Trump's reaction.
Trump didn't have to risk his safety coming out as soon as it was remotely safe in Florida to hand out supplies and talk, hug, and offer comfort and hope to so many who lost everything.
Trump went to N. CA and spoke to ppl almost a full 10 days before Biden.
Trump i truly believe cares about the American ppl.

AT the same time he promoted FALSE information that put emergency and recovery teams into EXTREME DANGER including death threats. THAT is NOT compassionate in ANY WAY, by any definition. You might want to think again: would you want a stranger to come into your neighborhood, in a crisis, to stir up anger, hatred, and death threats. AND, oh, btw, WHY didn't Trump bring a PLANE FULL of material aid? He could have! And why didn't he bring a check for $1million? $5? $10million? or more to rebuild homes and communities? He claims to have a lot, but he rarely donates a lot.

@ i urge you to take the time to actually look and listen to trump and his team and not go off news clips or commentary. he says himself he has no issue with gay marriage and his abortion policies will make allowances for cases like incest or rape. his primary concern is for the american citizens that are freezing and starving to death because too much government spending has been on people who are strangers to this country, rather than our own people. if we can’t help ourselves first, we shouldn’t assume we are superhuman and can lend a hand to all these other people, it just doesnt add up. if we keep pulling money out of thin air, it will soon cease to have any value. if we let this country be overrun by ungrateful or dangerous people, whether from within or without…there wont be much of a country worth saving. i am just one out of millions in this country who have suffered enough for the choices of the so-called ‘democratic’ party so why would we feed a system that is broken? trump is giving people hope again that a normal life is achievable. things were good when he was president before, and i trust him to continue keeping his promises if he is given the position to do so.

Trump compassionate? Give me a break. Peterson doesn't provide any really incidents of Trump's "compassion" and totally ignores Trump's many public, documented incidents of vile, abusive, hateful aggression. Peterson is just the latest Dr. Phil, or Dr. Laura. Peterson is intelligent and charismatic and it's disappointing that he is also so full of himself. What are his motives for being so sympathetic to a man a vile as Trump? Peterson has been stung by criticism and likes to align himself with legitimate tough guys like Joe Rogan and MMA types. He's all about masculinity and the carnivore diet. Trump is a man who not only condones violence at his own rallys but enthusiastically encourages it. He sat by and did nothing while a violent mob attacked the Capitol. Peterson is fine with that behavior. He's actually admires Trump the great business man and entrepreneur. What does he admire? That all of Trump's businesses have failed? And how is Trump a great entrepreneur? By grifting people with things like his fake "Trump University?" I guess Peterson admires him so much that inspired him to start his own university. That really says it all.

One of the biggest tales is that Trump is against war. How could that be true?! Weapon industry is a significant part of USA's economy, and believing that USA will stop being involved in the huge business of worldwide conflicts is very naive. Let's pretend for a moment there are no arms industry lobbies... such a decision, if even remotely possible, would have a really huge negative impact on the whole USA's economy. Maybe even a significant decline. And Trump is saying he's going to indirectly downsize such a big industry branch and (at the same time) strengthen the economy? Yeah, sure...

Pull up his speech from Jan. 6 when he told people to leave peacefully. You can't have an insurrection when every person is UNARMED. People around Pelosi finally admitted she had 200 FBI with MAGA hats on at the Jan 6th event. The FBI started shooting rubber bullets into the crowd to start the crowd rioting. Trump had asked for 10,000 National Guard 3 days before and he was denied. You don't ask for military at an insurrection. Only 2 people were killed and both were Trump supporters. Ashley Babbitt was shot and Roseanne Boland was beaten to death in the tunnel by the capitol police who were under Pelosi at the time. Why aren't you upset about the summer of 2020 where 6 police were killed, business owners were killed, their businesses burned down, police cars set on fire, federal buildings destroyed. And this went on all summer. KAMALA'S comment at the time "they are rioting and they should NOT stop". I don't hear you complaining about that summer @michaelbraithwaite5875. Politicians are very rarely compassionate. In fact, to become a successful politician one has to suck up to a lot of corporations and wealthy groups/individuals in order to receive funds and support to make it in the political game(especially in the USA). This often requires politicians to dismiss and disregard their original values and accept the rules of the game as inherently corrupt. The politicians that continue- are often the worse of us, humans.
Although politicians may show compassion, deep inside and fundamentally one would not label trump or any politician as compassionate.
Furthermore the nature of human is corrupted in an environment like that where one has so much power, and the stakes are extremely high and one must deal with near a constant stream of psychopath politicians in other countries. The rule of the jungle still dictates international politics to some degree depending on which relations we are talking about. This corrupts the soul. We must have empathy and compassion for politicians and help them not become corrupted both politically and internally.

Bodies of mental health law have been shaped by their dedicated research and teaching. They have appeared to me to be genuinely committed to helping communities toward the common good of safer, healthier communities. Peterson's flamboyantly arrogant posture here is very off putting. He only needed to be smoking a cigar with a lovely woman (or handsome man, if he prefers that) hovering nearby to bring him a golden goblet of his favorite beverage. At least, at the end he concludes with the 'danger of narcisscism' in Trump. Trump is - by his own words - not merely narcissistic but overtly racist, sexually deviant, and morally obtuse. This is overt racial - and illegal - discrimination. # Donald Trump kicked off his 2016 presidential bid by disparaging Mexican immigrants."They are not our friend, believe me," he said. "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." - In reality, MOST Mexicans are NOT 'rapists' and 'drug traffickers'. SOME are. So, Trump reversed the FACTS to suit a racist argument. # Trump claimed that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States. Trump used this racist claim to mock and belittle Obama's multiracial ancestry. Trump also spoke Obama's full name to imply that he was Muslim. In reality Obama was born in the United States and raised by a working class Christian mother. These racist claims by Trump are very well documented. # A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a Black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! It’s not anything they can control.” Trump later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.” So Trump admitted that he believed and said racist, and anti-semitic stereotypes and acted on the basis of racist beliefs # Wjem four Black teenagers and one Latino teenager - the “Central Park Five” - were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City Trump immediately ran an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary. Here Trump resists both SCIENTIFIC evidence and LEGAL PROCEEDINGS to INSIST that his racist ideas are correct. # The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred Black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices. AND In congressional testimony, Trump said that some Native American reservations operating casinos shouldn’t be allowed because “they don’t look like Indians to me.” Here we see Trump deploying racial discrimination in order DENY workers their proper rights and pay as employees & to deny other people their right to open and operate their own businesses. # In the week after white supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017, Trump repeatedly said that “many sides” and “both sides” were to blame for the violence and chaos that ensued - suggesting that the white supremacist protesters were morally equivalent to counterprotesters who stood against racism. He also said that there were “some very fine people” among the white supremacists. All of this seemed like a dog whistle to white supremacists - and many of them took it as one, with white nationalist Richard Spencer praising Trump for “defending the truth.” I AM FROM the Charlottesville area and witnessed the racist riots IN PERSON and through the years following of trials: including the murder trial since, if you recall, one of the racist rioters charged a car into a crowd, killing one and injuring many. Trump NEVER came to Charlottesville to 'heal' the wounds, in all those years! These are just a few only up to 2017. We can go on with many comments he has made since then. But these should be enough for now. Thank you for asking.
