Bluespotted ribbontail stingray - A closer look
Over the last years I had multiple dive trips looking for the Bluespotted ribbontail stingray at the Mangrove Bay housereef.
This housereef an ideal hunting ground for the stingrays, large areas with sand or field with sand with broken corals.
With their ampullae of Lorenzi they can find hidden burried crustaceans and mussels in the sand.
Wherever they dig for food , all kinds fo fish are nearby trying to participate.
Always great to watch and they are not shy at all...
