I love Taming pets. i remember trying for the spirit beasts in Wrath when it was current on multiple hunters. A couple of my hunters can't even tame anything new ;( we need more stable space quickly! 🤩❤🔥😎
Lytfang the Lost is my absolute favourite. I’m such a sucker for kitty pets. I teamed her up with a standard black lynx as the 2nd pet in BM which I named Littlefang. This makes up for all the little kitties she has to leave behind when you tame her 🥲.
Thanks for the video. I actually got the cloudrook mount. Didn't even know they were out there to tame so I went and snagged a couple. Looks cool sitting on the mount with one on each side.
I run a full stable of the brown gulper frogs for dungeons. I cant help dire beast pet sizes but I can have all my other pets just tiny as hell. I can swap to a lust pet with a quick stables trip
The skippers are based on real animals, called mudskippers. They are FISH that are amphibious, meaning they live in water and on land. They use their fins as sort of feet. The ones in the game are very similar to the real ones, except they don’t have the big antenna, and obviously aren’t colorful. I keep several fish tanks and have always wanted to get some mudskippers to keep, but they have habitat requirements I haven’t been able to yet accommodate. But one day!
I WISH we could have teenie-tiny hunter pets. I use an otter, and even he's a bit larger than I'd like. I'd LOVE a little cat, that's like, actual cat sized, just running beside me. I've been so disappointed with hunter pet sizing in this game, they're always just a but too bigger than I want. I mean, if I wanted a giant pet though, I'd want a giant animals. But I like the cute, little ones. lol.
Have you tried the glyph that makes your pets smaller? I know it’s not the same (and I agree with the size issues on both sides), but some pets get _very_ small with that glyph! 💯
@@CupOfBoo oh yeah! I have that glyph on every pet slot. Haha. I do like how it shrinks down my otters and bees. But there’ve been a couple pets where I’ve been put off from using because it didn’t do much.
i actually really like the mole rats and have 2 different saddled versions on my bm main lol. i also managed to tame tephratennae completely by chance! for once, that area was pretty chill when it was up on my server. good hunting!
Haha, yeah, like I said, personal preferences for sure! Also, yeah, that bee apparently also _stays_ exotic even after the tame so I can't use it on Survival
I've always said that hunters should be able to use certain pets as mounts, and now there's Lytfang with a saddle and everything... Blizz, can we please?😭 Also I totally agree that flying pets should be able to fly along with us!!
I love the mudskippers! They're based off real fishes which just look as crazy irl. Land fishes are both goofy and creepy! XD One pet you forgot about is the Fetid Devourer from Uldir! Will be my go to secondary pet since they... -sob- Yeah I saw articles about the sword, that was super mean too! Don't they have anything better to do? :/ Anyways it's neat to see another hunter pet video! I missed that a bit ngl!
How do pets work now in WWI? Is there a difference between pets, or is it only cosmetic? And what about in PvP? Do I need to find some rare beast to tame to have the best pet for PvP?
We’re still stuck with the three families, means you still have to bring a ferocity pet if you want BL and so on. As for PvP, I see many people run around with cunning pets, as those can break ccs 🫡
As far as I know, all pets fall under one of the three main families and have therefor same abilities and CDs 😌 I can highly recommend Petopia for all taming questions and endeavors, they have all the pets in WoW categorized 💪🏼
Dune gorger world boss undead Trex boss has been tamable since shadowlands. Literally tamable for a few YEARS now. I tamed him at the beginning of shadowlands, 2 years went by and then dragon flight happened, and another 2 years went by.
2:22 Heh... back when I had a Wargen pet... hehehehe... they quickly changed it into a wolf but it kinda messed up the loading character select page because it would be HUGE and so you only kinda saw the wolf. I got rid of it because... well... I was no longer impressed. I do however, still have the old model ghost white leopard you'd get from messing with the naga statues in Darkshore. I don't really see anyone else with it and that is my OG pet from back in Vanilla.
I remember when The Lone Hunter from the Eastern Plaguelands was tameable with a sword through his head 🥲 apparently they now even removed it from the ones that were tamed before the hotfix 💔
Hey! This is the case for all invis pets (aka cats, spririt beasts, etc), you toggle off their invisibility (maybe need to drag that one out of the spell book under the rider "pet") and next time you exit combat together, your stealthy companion stays visible at your side :)
Sadly, you cannot atm. Here, this is taken straight from Petopia :) "Model: Mosswools Endemic to the Isle of Dorn, sadly these pretty floral ewes remain untameable."
I'm seriously disappointed that you can't tame the bat-like mobs in the ringing deeps (can't remember the name of them but as a beastmaster they do come out as a pet when using the skill dire beast which is a bit weird since you can't actually tame them...)
@CupOfBoo lol really? I couldn't level my beastmaster in legion because they really ruined it for me with the survivability of my tank pet so i skipped it 🙃 but that's... that's just stupid to see a demon in your pets lol. At least the mob I saw is categorized as a beast because I ran over to the area where I saw them hoping to grab one only to be slapped in the face with the untamable lol
I _think_ that dire beast calls upon the beast of your surroundings (I'm mostly using the Glyph to call my stabled pets nowadays), maybe some demon-animal fusions are listed as beasts :')
@CupOfBoo Yeah but if we call them, shouldn't they also be tameable? I mean, it's just sorta stupid at this point that there are beasts that you can't tame but you can have mechs and undead? idk.. I just really wanted that rock bag thing...
@@chaosisbeautiful 100% agree, the rules of taming should be less strict! But, you know our good, ol Blizzard, they need a few extra years to think about these things 🤭
The feathermane taming makes me so mad. I paused Wow for a while, back then when Legion and BfA dropped. Now I am trying to make all the questing to get that sh* tome of the hybrid beast. Turns out: You need to do a 3 player scenario in the process, which is impossible to do nowadays. Nobody is interested anymore. (And no, my guild cannot help me, we are only two players left that are still plaxing this game). Why is this still necessary four expansions later!?! If anyone knows a workaround to that problem, PLEASE drop me a clue. 🙏
Wow is a horrible game to take breaks from and try to catch up again 🫣 In my experience, and I’ve done the scenario dance for a few classes that I didn’t play during Legion myself, if you’re patient, half an hour in-ish the queue usually pops. To reasonable times, of course 🫠 It’s a bad system and it should be soloable at this point, but you know Blizzard 🥲
Maybe you didn’t play back then, but in 2023 they released a package of wrist mogs that included 200 tenders on top in the shop. The backlash was intense, therefore they never did it again. But we all know Blizzard and their love for money, so we’ll see 🤫
@@CupOfBoo To me the hero talents always seemed like a way for someone to customize they class spec further by incorporating things from other specs they play. Something like what hybrid specs used to be. Sadly for hunters current hero specs suck, not because they're bad, but because they're pretty race/culture specific. Like Sentinel is something only Nelfs ever were, same with Dark rangers for undead/elves. Why would my Orc or Draenei hunter summon owls (even though they are cool)?
Oh, completely agree, in my opinion Hero Talents are a complete lackluster- very linear, very much Covenant abilities and trees, but in a different font. They should’ve been cosmetic only, in exchange more versatile and including _all_ race fantasies in the WoW. But obviously, Blizzard can’t include a new system without attaching it to player power 🤡

That’s cool! Since it’s not a heroism pet I will probably not use it _that_ often anyway 😭
Great video. Your accent is lovely and no need to apologize for any mispronunciation of Blizzards odd in-game names.
Thank you! 😌

I loved finding and taming the rare/hidden pets in Pandaria, using different techniques.
This was exactly what I needed to enjoy my morning coffee. The Skippers probably decided halfway through evolving that they rather stay in the mud.
Happy to provide 😌☕️
