Very innovative use of space and I love the flexible washroom setup. Under £60k is a great price point but if money no option I would go for the 680 Grand Cali
Thanks - a great review - I would love to have one - hubby not on same page ref campers but I keep showing him your videos so that I can drip feed the lifestyle - He would cope with this!
Hi guys, this is the video that is to blame for me buying my Camper, as a long term subscriber and lover of camping and campervans this was probably overdue, but I think I had concentrated so much on the California's and how they just did not suit my requirements I had completely overlooked the Ducato based products. and it was the Bathroom here that really made the difference. We did not actually buy the Dreamer because we wanted to be able to bring our teenage children with us, but if you look in the background you will see the Van we bought from Harbour Creek and it is the Grey Boxer(ducato) with the pop top roof! What a fabulous Van it is too, its a VanTourer and although the brand is not well established in the UK it really ticked all of our boxes. So thank you Shaun, Lizzy, Bentley and Baby Harvey. Its all your fault :)
Great video as soon as we are able we are off to Barnsley as they seem to be the nearest dealer to us, so thank you very much. We have a golden retriever her name is Orchid do you think Bentley would have enough space ?
Another advantage is having the possibility to separate the van in two sections, for example, if one wants to sleep and the other wants to have breakfast.
it's almost like Ducato's ( & peugeot boxer / citroen relay ) were designed with motorhome converters in mind .. that is a nice layout , looks like Lizzie might have trouble squeezing down narrow passageways soon
They were. From 2006 on. this is in part as this base is the most popular in Europe and Fiat (the other brands are made in the same factory) designed it to satisfy the market.
You folks in Europe don’t have AC units in your vans. Love the layout but those built in and sliding screens break all the time. We have the same Fiat van but with Chrysler drivetrain. But love the Euro packaging.
Hi, great video and amazingly clever bathroom. Would be really great if you gave some key stats in each of your videos. I6ft 5ins so whenever you do your excellent videos I always wish you would state the actual bed dimensions and pserhaps ceiling height in the shower rooms. Thanks :)
Great review ☺️☺️☺️ The sliding door opening in 2 stages was clever idea ☺️☺️☺️☺️ Sorry, No idea what the switch did though. Interesting shower room combo. Shame there aren't windows in the sides at the back just in the rear doors
For such a sizeable van the kitchen area is really naff. The Nissan NV200 conversion’s kitchen from Sussex Campervans is bigger! If you’re six foot and over you’re stuffed for sleeping too!
The only problem I see is the swinging wardrobe how long will it last with weight in it. But it's a brilliant idea. But to me it needs to be beefed up at the hinge side. Maybe it's me just over engineering every thing!!!
Floor heat? But the bathroom /shower seems weird and unpractical to me, half opend to the sleeping area think if you need to rence of the baby but and need to opend and close al those doors?! Nice video!Barbro Sweden 🇸🇪
The payload of less than 450kg is really disappointing and should be mentioned. Two people with full tanks of fuel and water and it’s totally pointless having all that space for storage because you’re going to be breaking the law or the van or both. Most people should rule out all of these vans with less than 650 kg.
We do have cassette toilets in the United States in RVs just not in every make and model It's a shame we can buy that and have it shipped here I'm not sure what the import policies are from the UK but I know from Japan it's ridiculous the vehicle has to be 25 years old or older but in Canada the vehicle only has to be 15 years old we have some of the shittiest import policies for buying vehicles I like the size of the RV's from Japan because of how small they are And there's some really nice RVs that came out last year but I'd have to wait till 2045 to buy it, it's just really stupid if I want one I should be able to buy one and have it we're not making it here so I should be able to buy it from someplace that is making it, it doesn't make any sense to me
Well, for me, this is just a “nice big” BORING camper like 99% of them on the market. DIY campers are way more interesting and most have better layout.
Many camper vans ARE interesting but I have to say this was one of the least interesting and I'd agree boring. The cabinetry looked cheap and the oven a joke of a size and nothing inspired a wish to know more. However it is the basic spec, maybe the Select model about to be reviewed might be better but I'll not be holding my breath to see it.
Andrew Fraser I’m suprised you are wasting your time watching. I find this couple’s reviews are pretty honest and comprehensive. They come at it with their own experiences as camper/travellers and I can’t recall seeing them in a hand built.
Well, this is a shell. Afterwards you can make your own personal touches to it. Or better yet, build one if you prefer. I think this one will be great for me and come Monday I will see where I can get my hands on one. 👐
so should I watch a bloke explaining about a motor and he says to camera, " if anyone knows what this switch does?". thats when i watch something else. Sorry.
It sounds like it’s an underfloor heating switch (or a bacon maker)! I did think the floor felt a bit warm!
Defiantly underfloor heating 😁😁
Judging from the diagram on that switch, I’d say that’s the bacon 🥓 maker! Thanks for the video.
Great bathroom layout. I'm normally still asleep when my husband showers. Also doesn't seem to have huge clearance above bedding, etc.
Underfloor heating, its an option on the one Harbour Creek have in stock.
Washroom is genius layout tbf 👏🏼
Very innovative use of space and I love the flexible washroom setup. Under £60k is a great price point but if money no option I would go for the 680 Grand Cali

Haha so glad you found what was right for you! Just don’t send us the bill 😂
A full width washroom. Nice. The ladies ought to like that. Access to cabinets for hanging clothes. Nice trick
Great video as usual 👍
Just wondering how you would compare it to the Grand California?
Great video as soon as we are able we are off to Barnsley as they seem to be the nearest dealer to us, so thank you very much. We have a golden retriever her name is Orchid do you think Bentley would have enough space ?
Another advantage is having the possibility to separate the van in two sections, for example, if one wants to sleep and the other wants to have breakfast.
Sick! A camper van that can accommodate and fit more of my homies!

Good to see the bump growing really nice van keep well peeps.
I’ve got a Dreamer D55+ Select. They are excellent vans.
Some very clever packaging in that! Wish caravan manufacturers were a bit more savvy with their use of space.
Nice video, you might need a cot bed soon !
This has to be the coolest craziest shower ive ever seen!! So so awsome!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Great video as always. 👍

The button is for under floor heating!

Seconded. 6'6" here. Side ways beds.... Never enough! Plus I like to sleep with my feet dangling out
@@trispretty You can always turn the other way and dingle away.. ☺️
Great review ☺️☺️☺️ The sliding door opening in 2 stages was clever idea ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Sorry, No idea what the switch did though.
Interesting shower room combo. Shame there aren't windows in the sides at the back just in the rear doors
Just watched it again with my husband and could the switch be for turning on the grill or oven ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Getting me one of these!...
Unknown button function - Is it for underfloor heating?
Did you just break the windscreen blinds?!

Its a very nice camper
Nice design, i would like to know why noone make electric lifted beds with the living room down..
Floor heat? But the bathroom /shower seems weird and unpractical to me, half opend to the sleeping area think if you need to rence of the baby but and need to opend and close al those doors?! Nice video!Barbro Sweden 🇸🇪
Weird that it’s a RHD but the sliding door is on the “wrong” (continental side)
yeah , same as factory Californias .. i guess they all start with the same body shell
i just want to know what unit that is in your intro 00:27
After seeing this I’m thinking that vw t6 California are way overpriced
That it for sure true
Please encourage them to sell in the US, this model would sell out!!
I LOVE IT !! I WANT IT !! I NEED IT ,!! SOO COOL.
Great idea for the shower
Underfloor heating I think 🤔
Heated floor, brilliant!
Turning on the water heater ?
An interesting candidate to replace the Cali when the new bady arrives. The bathroom will be a must then.
Switch looks like heated floor
Nasser Al-momen yes, these vans have underfloor heating as an option.
How much is this costing?
Extractor fan for hob
It’s underfloor heating
IC a Bathroom SINK....whoopee! 👍👌😊
heated floor
Trouble is I am 6ft 6 and wife is 5ft 10. Very limited choices for us normal people
Agreed. Bed is just too small

Pity its not built on a Crafter chassis/van
I really love most of this motorhome but there's nowhere near enough counter space & 140bhp is nothing
$60,000? Why is something like this $100,000 in the US?
Omg!!! why do they insist on such big fridges and such tiny freezers in these builds? why not a half and half
Kianne of Troi Don’t agree. Freezer for ice cubes, fridge for wine and beer
Kitchen prep a bit sparse
Imagine doing a review only to find the cassette toilet locker is locked? Either reshoot the scene or prepare first....
It’s a switch not a button.
It’s to turn on fart gas 😂👍🏻
😊👍
All I need now is 60k lol.
He broke the cab window blined
No he didn’t
No he didn't.
