It’s the black customer that posted on twitter who is trying to make the scenario seems like the manager is being racist. She was not tho. So shameful. A jerk using his own cultural struggle to take advantage on getting free food.
@Terran I agree that they are a shitty company, because I am sure that she explained to them while getting fired that there was a history of dinning and dashing, and she only got her job back because the thieves admitted it.
The only mistake she made was speaking to the group. Those people who made the video clearly had bad intentions. They should be banned from their social media platform. If the employee decides to press charges for defamation, she would win the case.
The people who recorded the video and got her fired should be sued for defamation of character because they almost ruined her life off one video. Also it's sad to see how quick the big companies are when it comes to firing people before look at the details just because society will think "this company hires racist employees" rather than them investigating better before deciding.
The company I supposed to protect the employees before anyone else until further investigation. It's so stupid when someone gets fired because their employer didn't do their homework beforehand.
Can’t believe that Chipotle couldn’t recognize bullying behavior from the start. Multiple people heckling a service-oriented worker and recording it on multiple phones. Management at the top of the Chipotle brand must be dumb as rocks and handed their jobs by their daddies. That employee handled the situation in a professional manner.
Agreed. But the knee jerk reaction is bc of the stupidity of this woke culture nonsense. Like they see people with dark skin, so they [Chipotle] just automatically go into fear mode and assume racism so as to appear fully onboard with woke culture

@AATHEISTU History has shown that life has been getting better for Black people in America, not worse. Is it perfect? No. But it's equal in the eyes of the law. Now if you want to talk about racial issues, then you should look at culture and how it affects the opinions of society. This country is actively seeking out equality opportunities for every minority in a daily basis. But there are those individuals that choose to exploit that effort, like these punks. That's an encouraged behavior because of victimhood. Eradicate that, and true equality will be reached. I, for one, won't treat any minority less than my own. It's time some people take responsibility for their actions. BTW, I'm Indonesian-Chinese and Caucasian. Not white. So let's dispense with the racism argument, shall we?

Chipotle should trust her every decision going forward. She clearly makes better decisions than corporate does!
@@drewmena8194 , it's really not just that easy anymore to "kick them out for stealing". In fact, it's gotten pretty complicated! Everybody from our elected leader to law enforcement to the general public worries more about offending the offender than the actual crime or its impact on society. Refusing to serve someone just because they have a history of stealing from you is considered racist. After all, thieves are people too and constitutionally entitled to equal protection under the law, thus "thief" is now a race and one cannot discriminated against a person based on the fact that he is a thief! It is, however, perfectly acceptable to ignore the rights of the victims of crime. The reasoning being that if they didn't have something to steal, no one would try to steal it. Having something to steal is a privilege and that makes Chipotle and every other business in America bigoted organizations. These businesses illegally discriminate against some customers based solely on whether or not they are willing to pay for the goods and services they receive and that is clearly racist. So, you see, it's just not that simple anymore to kick someone out of your business just for stealing from your business.

When a company fires someone for something they didn’t do and then try to offer them their job back after is just a total slap in the face. Exact thing happened to my friend when he worked at Dominos. Texas had a massive winter freeze in 2021 and it caused a lot of power outages killed agriculture and even caused a meat shortage and someone called dominos to complain about not having sausage and pepperoni pizzas available and my friend tried being nice and calm with her but she was cussing him out and being over a total Karen and rude b* about it and he finally replied with something on the lines of “I guess you’ll have to just deal with it” and hung up on her. That was enough for her to come into the store raging and having a complete meltdown over it. The director of dominos just so happened to be there at that time as well when this happened and she told on my friend about what happened and claimed he cussed her out when he didn’t do anything of the sort. Well they fired him right off the bat right in front of the lady and everyone there and told him he isn’t welcome there anymore meanwhile they gave the lady a discount on all pizzas for a whole year. Couple months later they offer his job back and tell him he’s welcomed back as long as he agrees to make a sincere apology to the director for what happened which wasn’t his fault at all. I will never understand why they decided to still serve a woman like that and or why they took her side even after how she acted on the phone and in person over not having meat for pizza. And unfortunately Texas is a state where your employer can fire you for anything and there doesn’t have to be a real reason for it.
It's sad because she seems like a damn good manager and was protecting the store while also being polite to a bunch of regular trouble makers. Chipotle would've probably preferred her to accept being occasionally robbed instead of any "incident" happening. But hey I don't know what their "policy" is in such a situation, But I sure would like to know lol.

AATHEISTU this isn’t white privilege , this is just a black guy who cried racism and got exposed of his bullshit

You know whats not cool? The title of this video, its atrocious.
@@YoungMonte right, who name these videos?
You should kick them out for stealing stuff …

@@yoandimov8236 People had hard time understanding the title because of how they put it together. Why do they have to be retarded? Stop calling people retarded.
Dude I read that thing 3 times thinkin there was an easier way to describe wtf was going on lol fuckin shit man
This never would have happened had she been a Union member. Had the employer still have decided to fire her, they would be writing her, and her Union attorney a massive check. Plus back pay when they had to give her job back.
This is what people need to realize, just because the guy/ girl behind the camera is the one recording, doesn't mean that they're the victims. A lot of the times is the person they're recording. 💯
True. It seems like more people weaponize cameras to try and ruin someone's reputation nowadays than people recording to defend themselves.
It's like the morons that put cameras on cops, and harass them, and try to get reactions they can post online to ruin their reputation. It's disgusting.
@@CreamyPesto505 Cutting and editing footage is always dishonest and shitty. But always film every interaction with police or law enforcment in a respectful way. Your just covering your own ass and ensuring there is a recording of events in the case the truth of the incident needs to be revisited.
@@smithynoir9980 I agree with that, 100%... I'm not talking about people that simply record their interactions with police. I'm talking about people that intentionally seek out officers so they can harass them, hoping to draw a reaction that makes the cop look bad. There are plenty of social media accounts that literally revolve around doing that.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees.
She was acting out of experience from those particular customers, protecting her restaurant's interests. That is literally her job and she did it well
*WOKEISM = SOCIALISM = THE NEW COMMMUNISM*
Black people never learn smh
@@Anthony-ny8dg then what's with white homeless people then all over the place? see how dumb you sound?
👍
these Chipotle mfs dont know grammar.
I like how the formal apology to her was for “being put in this situation” of handling unruly customers and not “we’re sorry we made an assumption you were racist based on a 15 second clip and immediately fired you wrongfully”
Yeah. Talk about deflection of responsibility. That really fucking pisses me off. It's pathetic behavior from them.
So true. She should sue them for wrongful termination instead of taking the job back
@@potatoe83bong9 Sadly double standards exist. Employers can fire for no reason. If employees fire the busienss(quit with no weeks notice) then they get terminated and it gets put on their record.
Seriously I made a vocal remark to myself after seeing that that I can't repeat. JK I said fuck Chipotle! Fuck them I've worked in food service and have had to deal with customers like that and the corporate office never took my back when the customer was wrong and I was mistreated. Thankfully I put up the middle finger and moved into construction work
@@appletherapy wrongful termination suits exist for a reason. Corporations can't just fire someone for nothing dude. And if someone quits a job it doesn't "go on their record", it simply puts them in a position that they can't use that job as a job reference. Have you ever actually had a job before? Your comment leads me to think otherwise
