CONGRATS on the boat! They are amazing boats! I miss my re-branded Weldbilt!!!!!!!! The 1756 Greene Marine jet boat I had a few years back was a re-branded Weldbilt!
I hope someday they will make a proper 2372 or even a 2378 hull like what Wooldridge does. They currently stop at 70 inches wide which is a good size for jets and mud motors. A buddy of mine has ordered one and it's got me looking at them again haha.
It's been nice so far! Thanks for chiming in. I actually got one mile per hour faster with this boat moving with the wind. Against the wind, it was the same speed.
I’m gonna miss the Lone Star. I’d like to have one to run my vintage outboards on. But for fishin I’ve got a Smoker Craft 1672 flat bottom jon boat. I like the lack of seats in your boat. My knees are bad and it is hard for me to move in my boat.
I don't recall the gauge I bought what the dealer had on the lot. It's probably 100 since the guy I bought it from specialized in mud motors, duck boats and the like. Best boat I've ever owned. Skips over the water, the v-hull cuts through the chop. Most of the time I'm only running 1/2 to 3/4 throttle with a 20 hp Tohatsu engine.
That's a really nice setup. I have been eyeing those boats for several years. They are truly built to last longer than a lifetime.
Thanks! They are well-built boats.
That’s nice bro. 👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks 👍
Nice I have a weldbilt 1642 with a 04 mud buddy 21...I love it
Yup, these make great mud boats.
Nice set up man.!
It's been nice!
Congrats on the new boat ...
Thanks!

Yup! I remember. They had a 17 foot tunnel hull mud boat there at Backwoods Landing. They also had a 1752 flat-bottomed jon boat.

Nice boat

Nice nice boat sir! You deserve it!
Thank you! It' has been a long wait!
Well I'm jealous of your setup. New boat is nice
No need to be. It has been a long, hard road to get here.
With that boat and that motor you are well in the game my man 🎣
Yup!
I really like that boat! I would love to have one. Love your videos.
It's a good one.
Nice boat. Im saving for a kayak myself. Its nice to be out on the water
Thank you. It has been nice. You'll have fun with a kayak. I've seen more and more people fishing out of kayaks on my local waters.

Thanks. It has seat post holes. I plan to use the seat I currently use in the Lonestar. The Lonestar is for sale if you're interested.
I was looking at getting this exact same boat. What gage aluminum did you get? The 80 or 100? And are you happy with that particular decision?

Tuscaloosa doesn’t use chlorine in its water anymore.
They must be using chlormines because the water still tastes like swimming pool water, and my fish die unless I use a chlorine/chlormine neutralizer.
Where is that lake?
It's Holt Lake in west central-Alabama.
Sweet boat!
Thanks!
