I have to agree that Sarina-Joi Crowe was the strongest of the night. She is now one of my favorite contestants. In my opinion, she just placed herself amongst the top 3 female singers alongside Jax and Tyanna Jones. Adanna Duru would be my 4th favorite.
The Spock sideeye is my new favourite thing!
There are too many added clips... A few is fine but not after every sentence!

Disappointed in the lack of mention for Joey. She showed an incredible amount of creativity and imagination and was surely at the top of the pack this week. I agree with pretty much everything else that you said though :).
Joey was awful...I hated that performance. Yeah, she chose Keith's song and changed it up. But her vocals were bad!
Her vocals were on point with the style she was going for :).

Pretty much agree with you guys, but I would put Savion as the disappointment of the week... Looked like he came too overconfident/underestimating his competition this week, with might have put him in some major trouble. Agree on Katherine tho, she gave us Sam Woolf stage performance/connection with some pitch problems that I wasnt expecting... Still have hopes for her if she survives tho.
I just wanna bring up Mia Z.'s dog whistle note.

I resent you guys making fun of Shi! I loved that performance. I did not think it was as bad as everyone is saying. She sang the harmonies as opposed to the melody! She DID sing in pitch except for one note. She was yelling, but I thought it added to the performance in an odd way. It was her interpretation of the song. She was rocking out! Sure, some of her vocals were shaky, I admit that. But I have listened to that performance the MOST out of all the performances we saw last week. Rewinding and rewinding it. I loved it! I love Shi! I do think she's going home, but Shi Scott does have a good voice.
Umbrella was not "next-level bad." Love you Shi!
Clark is an amazing vocalist and musician, but I was disappointed with his performance. I couldn't stop comparing him to Joshua Ladet, and his vocals paled in comparison.
Right! He was so pitchy and he sang flat AND sharp a majority of times throughout that performance. I thought it was dreadful...to be quite honest!
Jason is back! Loving it. And She (Or however she spells it) was so bad, I didn't even know what song she was singing.

Really no mention of Adanna Duru( or was she too shouty?), I don't mind a singer losing it a little she was my fav along with Jax...Love the recap still, more Voice though...

Sarina followed by Quentin...that's on point. I was most pleasantly surprised by Adanna and would put her third. Also good call on the two kids that need to go and on the SHI-Wolf and the over-excited Lovey isn't really bad, but not quite ready to put vocals in front of dancing.
Then you are losing me...I guess Jax and Qaasim also got a deal with TVLine.
Melinda at least didn't dare mention vocals for the latter and went right for "entertainer" to describe him. Michael says something ridiculous about "10 % less on the vocals" are worth it. 10% less than 0? Do you actually listen to him or does he put a spell on you, too? He "sings" in chunks, because he can't keep a damn tune. Looking forward to the inevitable moment when he can't hide that any longer.
"Bang Bang" has been done many times on The Voice. It is great for show. All those opportunities to make more dramatic pauses and sing less actual melodies since it needs to be condensed. Yes, very clever.
The Voice is really promising this season.

***** JAX might win but she needs to slow down and be careful because sometimes she changes the song too much. It's going to be a tight race between Jax, Clark and Tyanna I feell ike. But JAX is that unique singer that we haven't had before.

Man, I'm glad you mentioned Haley and Elise because along with Angela Miller, they were my favorite contestants of ALL time! I feel if Jax keeps going the way she's going, she could be one as well!

I really liked trevor douglas's performance. I think that his was more memorable and interesting than mark's

Hater! Shi was fabulous! This is coming from someone who also loved Jax, Nick, Quentin, Qaasim, Adam, Sarina Joi, and Tyanna....so you can't question my taste level. However, Shi's performance was my favorite. She was rocking it!
***** I am one of those who think that if you sing it should sound the least bit pleasant and be melodious. For instance, Death Metal singing is technically difficult and if I know that's what I'm listening to, then I can apprecite it. (I am not saying this is Death Metal.) Or rapping, that's something else.
Can you tell me if that's what you got from her? Or did you like it because it was unique/different/artistic in your opinion?
I realize this is not a straight-up singing competition. But come on...we don't think that what she does is singing, do we?
The very same goes for Qaasim. I also don't enjoy Jax, but I can't deny that she sings.
