Anyways, I had this idea in mind since @charaecr9628(woah, I can finally mention them, very cool) made their Wormified Tales: Last Breath video. I really wanted to do my own thing on Last Breath, making it feel more canon and stuff. So yeah, this is a real project! Expect more stuff from this because I genuinely wanna finish this.

Heya'! Some stuff I wanna say.
1. Sorry for everyone who though the drums were too loud! I'll probably post a version where it's quieter on my new second channel soon.

Okay, holy shit. This is INSANE. Last breath always felt... fanon-ish. Maybe this is what it needed? Either way, I'm all for it!
The music is good and feels basically just as canon/fanon as the original but the name, like what do you mean not holding back anymore, it's not like he was normally holding back, and that's my biggest grudge with ulb as a whole, because its not like sans just instantly becomes stronger because Geeter told him that there have already been genocides.
The most he can do is change attack order or something

Sans raises his hands up to the sides, opening the eyes to faded pupils of white, his very SOUL becoming visible for a mere moment-
It split in two, before seemingly twitching in the air, forcing itself back together with a spark of *Yellow* and *Red*

I can't wait to see what your twist on the other phases is gonna be because this is awesome! And I love when people use the original Sans sprite and just adjust things about it. It makes it feel more like it was meant for the game. And I like the name "no longer holding back." It's simple but also speaks a message you should be intimidated by. Overall phenomenal work!

Hey Golden I was wondering If until my last breath.... will be in your lb take or not?
Not exactly. A B-Side version will be made for this take. The A-Side however, will be left as how it's always been intended for. So you can use the A-Side (or A-Side Remaster) for a Phase 4 animation or something, but you cannot use B-Side unless it's specifically a fanmade thing for my take.

The title of this song is character assassination of the Sans in canon. I know the original Last Breath does it too, but the idea Sans held back to any extent in the original battle ruins the whole point of it, what made it great: Sans not being able to afford not to care anymore, finally giving it his all to stop the Anomaly from seeing the ending of the Genocide Run.
The throught he's only giving it his all NOW, after multiple Genocide Runs, is a disservice to the character.

So, more canon, right? (maybe that's why you used the original sprites) Very well, what do you have in mind? What ideas do you have for it?
Well, I kinda rewrote the whole intro sequence of Last Breath to make it make more sense and also make Gaster more mysterious. Sans would know about the genocide routes in a dream about being in the "Entry Number 17" room. There, the code and stuff is shown to him so he knows. And ideas I have for it are maybe using "determination" in Phase 3 or something.

So, instead of Gaster introducing to Sans (by force of the human), telling him about all the genocides the human made, Sans discovers all the mess by his own and wants to be sure about it by checking the Entry.
And Gaster *still* remains a mystery, just like in the original Undertale.
I suppose it will be like that, am I right?
Also, about Phase 3, if determination (or similar) helps Sans, then what role will Gaster play?
I have some other questions but as I suppose, this is just the beginning, so you must still think about the final result.
Seems great, can't wait to see it all!

First, the "one left" motif is just Homestuck Megalovania, and of course I would use Not a Slacker Anymore. This is a flipping Last Breath take, how would I not use it?

Seeing as there are still comments being posted on here, i’ve already said something about this on the post about phases 2 and 3 but i’ve taken ownership of the au (at?) and plan on finishing the soundtrack, which is the most likely scenario… the other option i’ve been partially considering is completely overhauling lbr with a new soundtrack and sprites and making the original soundtrack a legacy version of sorts although this probably won’t happen seeing as the original soundtracks harmony made are absolute bangers imo!

Question, How would you canonized ULB Sans? Undertale Sans is not some sort of the caring person (or monster). Of course he's angry for us killing Papyrus but in neutral run, he doesn't do anything about it except left us alone until we reach judgement hall.
And In genocide, I think Sans just doing his job. His actual job of observing us and judging us. He's not doing it out of emotion or rage but he glad to do it because we kill his brother.
My point is... Sans really doesn't give any crap about people dying, he's just doing his job maybe the system assign his job as a judge to him so the game would force him to do it.
He doesn't really care directly about people dying. He cares about you using the people as a puppet, including himself. You know how Spamton and Kris reacted to them being puppets, so Sans would be the same, except more in his Sans-y way.
My point is, the human's being atrocious. They MUST be stopped.
Also, he DOES care. Just, doesn't do anything because it doesn't change anything really. He knows everything he does is worthless, so why bother?
And now he gives his all because, uh, it's too much already.

it almost feels weird seeing sans act so angry, but it's weird in a good way - him laughing and joking in the original always seemed a little bit off, and this feels like it finally fixes that! although it bothers me a little to see him gesturing so much with his right hand when he favors his left in the game, but that's not important really

Will this have 2 or 3 phase because of the AU being retouched.
Also by using retouched limiting the AU being in so many trio like a Reboot! (Using the rebooted AU and not the previous one.). Unless the trio's plot is being rebooted and not the version of characters that remain in it. An example being Karmatic Time Trio or Murder Time Trio.
First, my take, my rules, so 4 phases. (Don't worry, the phase 4 is Until my Last Breath... so it won't be cringe.)
Also, Zerjox specifically asked to not use Retouched! Last Breath in your unoriginal stuff. So no, old last breath still for those kinds of stuff.
Did not know Retouched was forbbiden use. Anyway I just thought of a trio concept unrelated. Probably eould need permission with one AU.
