    Very nice, I made something similar, but much uglier out of some square and round stock metal, with a couple of bits of leather coated ply wood and a nut welded on the side with a bolt going through, it works and probably cost me less than $10 (£7), but yours looks much nicer, I like the slots and the double tighteners, might add those to mine.
    Gotta say they make hand sanding much easier!

    Thanks sandy your correct on the thought that went into this. One example is the base plate it was much thicker on the prototype and didn't allow any flex I started with 7mm then tried 6 before settling with 5mm. it's all so been good to get feedback from other knife makers Jimmypie mentioned that the original handle on the rear was difficult to use with tired hands so we made our own. Thanks again Sandy

    Glad to see someone if making equipment to help. I have two questions... when's the next overnight adventure a cookout camp video. And you are a hard man to get hold of do you have any available knifes out soon? Sorry to be a pain in you're neck I just don't want to get one from another company I'd rather support you and you're business!

    • @Jackloreknives
      @Jackloreknives  7 років тому +1

      LOL For many reasons, I do not build knives to order now. I just build them and sell them when they are ready. I will hopefully have a few for sale toward the end of the week hopefully. Best way is to check the website towards end of week and I will post an update there.

    Can you tell me where I can go on the web to buy this device

  • @craigmooring2091
    @craigmooring2091 7 років тому +1

    That looks like a good, solid device. You might want to change "vice" to "vise" in the title, though. Otherwise people who aren't familiar with your channel might get the idea they'll be seeing porn, gambling, or drugs. ;-) Spell Checker doesn't catch these things.

    • @damionlowther78
      @damionlowther78 7 років тому

      Craig Mooring spell check doesn't catch it because it's actually spelled both ways and has the same meaning for both and the British/English spelling is vice.
