- Aggressive Low Roller Craps Betting Strategy $120 is the first of a 3 part video series showing 3 types of craps betting styles for a $120 bankroll. These 3 strategies can be found on the Crapfest website listed below. For this video I show the aggressive play which starts with a $6 bet on the 6 and 8. First hit, collect. Second hit, press to $12 each. Third hit, collect. Fourth hit, place the 5 and 9 for $5 each. Each additional hit on any of the inside numbers, alternate between collecting and pressing the numbers up one unit.

I like the approach of starting low and becoming more aggressive as more hits come. Thanks for another good video J!
Another great video CU. Thanks an amazing year of Craps videos. You're easily my favorite YT Craps guy and I wish you and yours Happy Holidays!!
Thank you, and Happy New year to you!
I want to thank you for your tutorials and tips. It made it easy to understand the game and overcome that fear of approaching it. just came back from Vegas I made all my money back that I wasted in hotels and other expenditures. also made a profit. So thank again
That is awesome! Wont happen every time, but glad you did well. Thanks for watching!
Like that approach on take and bump. Always great videos. Keep um coming.
I actually stumbled across these a few days ago, and played the moderate version last night. Dice were cooperating, and went up $55 after 2 shooters (myself and 1 other). That was good enough for me. Looking forward to see you play it!
I would spread out on the 5 & 9 before pressing the 6 & 8. 18 ways to hit the 5/6/8/9 compared to 10 ways to hit the 6/8, it risks $22 instead of $24 and less boring not having to wait for a hit on the 6 or 8.
good point, either way we are still pressing and moving forward.
Not to mention the Seven Out Ratio coming into play.
18% profit. We'd be happy if that was our mutual fund but everyone wants to at least double our bankroll at the table. And that's the real house edge. Greed.
Great point!
pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered
Just like Kenny Rogers' song "gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them".
I use to start with 200 . Now I start with 500 & it doesn’t last me as long sometimes.
@@andresduarte6375 I agree. My strategy going in is the same but I end pressing and covering more numbers much quicker. 😂
Great video as always, thanks for sharing. I started following heavys Facebook pages a while back, I think he is a wealth of craps information.
experienced guy
One of the interesting things Color Up mentioned in another video is ... if you are playing 5/6/8/9 place bets and hit 2 numbers and pull your bets, you will do slightly better than if you continue and hit 5 total numbers and 7 out. I HATE to pull bets when they are hitting but the math says that's likely what you should do most of the time.
Content on fire!!
I like this strategy. Fun, good amount of action but minimal house edge. I also like that you could, with a larger bank roll, perhaps couple this with a 3-point Molly or 3-point don’t.
I actually used this strategy last light to color up! I made about $200 on one shooter. The table was pretty choppy before and after, so I colored up on my way to the cashier cage. The thing I like most about this strategy is once you have 3 hits, you are playing with house money,
Very nice!
I like to play this strategy - I would get on the5 and 9 earlier. Thanks for the video!
I agree. I'd be on 5/9 after the 2nd hit instead of putting 2 units on 6/8
Hi Color Up,
I've been loving the videos! I especially like that you've been displaying the numbers rolled and the bank roll on screen at all times. It really helps keep track of everything.
I have one small suggestion that I feel would make things even easier to follow. Split the number up at the top right between the current bank roll and the current amount bet. Something like this:
Bank: $108
Bet: $12
With both numbers being adjusted on the fly as you decide to press/pull or take your profit.
I'm not sure if that's a good idea, or if it's even feasible from a time standpoint, but I personally feel like it'd help me keep better track of what's going on, as a new and inexperienced player.
Thanks for the awesome videos!
I show the current bank and then the win/lose, you are saying you would rather see current bet, instead of win/lose?
@@ColorUp Yes, that's correct. I was thinking that it would be helpful to see it broken up between the bank and bet amount since the amount bet technically isn't in the bank anymore. Also, when there's multiple various higher dollar bets on the table at the same time it becomes confusing (for me at least) to keep track of the current total amount bet at any given time.
I'm not actually sure if this is a good idea or not...I was just thinking that it'd be easier for me to follow personally. Of course I don't expect you to change things up just for me, and I especially wouldn't want you to change it if it's going to substantially increase your editing time. And maybe it's not even a good idea anyways. I'm just happy to have your videos regardless! They're the best around!
Great demo.. easy strategy to follow.. almost identical to how I got into the game 🎲🎲
Seems less aggressive than I thought you’d go, but still good. Always like to see you up at the end of your videos
I like this strategy. At 14:07, you failed to add $14 to your count in upper corner. After $18 and greater place bets on 6 and 8, I prefer to collect more often than pressing after every other collect.
This video gave us ideas how to play depending on how the dice are rolling. After you get the 5, 6, 8, & 9 placed, you then have 18 ways to win versus 6 ways to lose and another 12 numbers to roll that won’t affect your place bets. I do not think this video was too long. Thanks.
Your vocab is getting to be quite satisfying on the roll calls.
All Smalls and 5 points is always good to win on too!
I have watched this vid several times, I like your videos. There is a suggestion on this strategy I would change. You start with a $120 bankroll. You place bet the 6&8 for $12, then have several rolls before either hits the first time. During that time period, you often hit the 9 more than once. I would suggest that you start with $22 inside. That also gives you a $5 five and 9, both of which pay the same as the 6&8, $7, and you are only down to $198 bankroll. But it would jump-start your presses sooner.
Just depends on how dice roll, more numbers covered but more at risk to 7. Personally I typically like to cover 4 numbers like you suggest though
Any suggestions or comments on the hedge (6-8) strategy, lots of cold tables lately
Thanks for the great video. Where did you get your table and chips?
just my kitchen table with layout from casino4youdotcom my chips from amazon amzn.to/2ufeoNT
This looks like a great strategy to try next time I'm in Biloxi. I know a couple of casinos with $5 tables
dpsmooth25 l miss old Biloxi. Use to go all the time Need to start going back.
Nice!
$12 aggressive is cool. it allows you to manage your bankroll without losing your shirt.
Great video
Are u still doing the hats thing
Could u do a strategy for the short game
Yep, send a 🧢, I just haven’t got one in long time
I do this on bubble craps but I'm way less aggressive. If I hit 3 times I will pull the whole bet down. I've doubled up for that shooter and those bubble machines love the 4-3.
What do you think about the shoot them all bonus?
Nice video. I wish we had craps here in Florida :(
I lived there 15yrs, know your pain ha
Modified regression, no hedge, on place betting. Saw this decades ago in a far more conservative manner, but it's a fair strategy for a slow grind. Again, you need the bankroll, and the ability to recover from a loss-limit loss against two out of three session. (Ignore the quantum chaos math behind the curtain.)
The most important thing is to leave the table once you make a profit. The longer you stay, the higher chances you'll lose
GREAT call!!!!!
Subbed...could u pls show a martingale. On the Dont pass line, starting at 10 and doubling till a win...if point becomes a 10 or 4 put odds...otherwise no box number bets...just the dont pass...thank you very much for your videos...u do a great job
If you trying to spend a lot of time it's cool to slowly go up but if you try to win it's probably best to start at 24 both of those numbers first time you hit take the money and then regress what was it there was one that you said start big and then regress down I forgot what you called it
My type of bankroll!
Ha, I hear ya
Jeremy, Thanks again for all your work. Really like all your videos. Now I have something do do when walking around casino with a buck twenty in my pocket. Played craps most of my life would never of thought to play this way with that small of a bank. Keep up the great work. Gary
Gary Nordyke c
As a conservative gambler, I always appreciate these small bankroll strategies! Would you bump the the starting bank to $240 if the table were $10 minimums I guess?
Yes he would because it would allow for a minimum of 10 shooters which he likes.
Regarding working on the come-out roll. I think Mark DeVol at You Can Bet On That podcast has the right approach. While mathematically, it makes no difference, having your bets off on the come out lowers your exposure on a negative EV game. Depending on your goals i.e. long play session (entertainment and drinks) or short hit and run, you can work them or not.
To me this is why craps is personally more enjoyable than say blackjack. Many options. I can not personally play any way except basic strategy on BJ, and at that point it is fairly robotic for me and becomes boring quickly.
true, any time youre not betting youre not losing :)
Looks good!
Working on a way to use the Hop Bet as a hedge against the NO 4 or 10. Is there any free online casinos I can use to get limited tesingt on what I want to do? Will post details of how it works.
I haven’t seen one with hop bets?
Nice video. Now, to find $5 tables on the Vegas strip?? Need to head to Fremont Street to find those minimums. Keep up the great work.
You can still get them on strip on weekdays.
The Link has $5 tables for sure
I’m always working.
Can someone explain to me what the double lines are between the numbers and the lay bets 🤔
Just the design of this layout. Some use double lines, and some single lines, either way its where the place bets are positioned.
at some point you gotta start buying a 7 for protection . especially late in the rolls jmo of course
So do u have to play the pass/dont pass in order to play the 6&8???
No, line bet is only required to roll the dice...
I been watching alot of your videos and I wanted some clarification on something. Typically I always play the pass line and let's say I had money on the 6 while shooter is trying to establish a point. If he/she gets a 6 the dealer always asks me to move my 6 bet to another number. Is this the rule that I can't have money on the 6 while it's on? In this video you had money on the 6 and then the point was set to 6 and you never moved your money. Is that because you weren't playing the pass and it's the only way for you to bet the 6?
Typically most players will have the point number already covered with a bet on the pass line so dealers will ask you where to move your place bet. A lot of times they do this out of habit even if you don't have a pass line bet. Either way you can leave your place bet on the point number if you like. You might not have a pass line bet or you would like to have more money on the point. Although, if that is the case, at that point it would be better to have it returned to you and use as an odds bet behind your pass.
@@ColorUp Thanks for the quick reply. Makes sense now. Your videos are great! Scratching the itch until I can get down to a table again!
Say I have like 36 on the 6 what do I say to get 24 back from that 6?
Take me down to $12 on 6, make my 6 $12. Anything like that
Out of pure curiosity, it would be interesting to see if SETTING the dice could make a difference in not hitting so many 7s .
Well I had a couple pretty good rolls
Color Up -Amen to that! Those last rolls were so darn good. Wish you’d left the 6&8s On, w the Come-out roll. They must have hit at least 4 or 5 times. Of course, it. Could have been different😩
But wow, I REALLY enjoy watching your videos. Every time we learn more & more! 🙏
I BELIEVE it WOULD!!!
I swear when ever you say "im going to be a little morr aggressive here" your summoning big red like a necromancer. Lol
So at 12:09, that 7 should have been a come out win, not a 7 out, correct? You made your point 6, then 3 on come out and then 7. Or maybe I saw it wrong...
5 was the point, not 6, so it was a 7 out.
@@ColorUp you're 100% right. Rewatched and I was mistaken.
weird there was twice where 7 rolled out but u didnt consider as a loss bet.. so the bankroll is not accurate anymore
This only works on a long roll. Short game works better. Odds someone goes 25+ rolls very slim
Yes, short game can allow you to last longer at the tables, but only if you turn off your bets.
I like to turn off after 3 rolls.
I cant trust any shooter to roll more than that consistently.
If you have a really good table with experienced players, you can patiently build a stack at low risk, and get on the casinos money.
Two orbits of disciplined place bets get you on casinos money, with some luck , of course, because even good shooter 7 out early once in a while.👌
I don’t like this method, I always try to recoup me bet before I press, so I collect twice then press then collect back and forth
I do hope to play craps with you one day
I tend to play like you, recoup then press and see what happens
What about when you're the shooter?
Quick question...all of your videos, you just roll the dice. When you play on live tables, do you set your dice? If so, what's your preferred dice set?
usually...just roll the dice
Why place bet when you can come bet? if you're in a hurry I can see placing 6/8 , but you're only going to make money on long rolls with max free odds
I’m confused with question? That’s what this strategy does, start with 6/8 most common numbers and hedged by come bet, then continue with come bets. If long roll happens you will have come bets with odds built up on them.
Can you do a table with 25 and 100 $ bets
I need to yes
@@ColorUp I would like to see this. I was thinking of starting with $ 75.00 on the 6 & 8 and then buy the 4 with the buy and go from there and buy the rest of the line.
What's your opinion on this if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
10:38 people started typing in big bold letters, "TAKE YOUR BETS DOWN, THE 7 IS COMING!!!" 11:13 (rolls a 6) ***holds down delete button***
Yeah, that 7 comes 1 in 6 times, but after delay, or dice off or whatever, we only remember the times the 7 shows, not the other times
Side betting the hard ways would’ve worked well in this video
No odds?
Yes, I added odds, and explained to add odds.
THROW OF THE DICE DIFRENT. IN CASSINO DICE HITS THE ALIGATOR WALL.YOUR TROW IS NOT
This is all fine and dandy but I have been playing craps for 40+ years.
Nothing a player can do when shooter after shooter establishes a point, then the very next roll,
"OUT SEVEN...line away, pay the don'ts"
Seen it a million times.
Other then betting the "dark side", best just too walk away if you have say, $100-$120 left in your gaming bankroll.
NEVER chase after lost money. You won't win in the long run unless you are a "controlled shooter" and you're waiting on the dice.
If you're just going to press both the 6 and 8 the second time a 6 or 8 hit, why not just press one of them on the first hit?
Good question for the creator, I guess you lose less of you don’t ever hit that second time
@@ColorUp yes, that's true! Thanks, love your videos.
Works really good until he hits seven
Nobody rolls that many times with out 7 out or hitting 6/8 .
You will lucky just find shooter to roll 3 in a row without hitting a 7.
Avg roll lasts 8.5 rolls.
@@ColorUp No casino would be in business if that were true.
Odds of rolling 7 is 1 in 6.
Average 8.5 isnt even close.
If it were accurate, all players would just play short game and cover board for 3 rolls and turn off bets, and every single casino would close every craps table.
6 rolls, including come out is average and all too often shooter dont make it past the 3 roll.
@@billniemann6235 avg roll is 8.5xxxxx rolls. You have to understand that also consists of 7's rolled on the come out roll which does not end your roll. So that factored in with the fact the 7 shows once every 6 rolls comes out to a avg roll 0f 8.5 rolls. Many mathematicians can confirm this. Thats avg. which means you can assume nearly half of all rolls are going to be less than 8 rolls. Those 10,20+ rolls have to be offset by rolls or 1.2 or 3 rolls than 7 out. Here is a fun read - catlin.casinocitytimes.com/article/how-long-is-a-craps-roll-1240
Fun fact - Longest documented roll is 154 rolls when finally ended in 7 out. 2009 Patricia Demauro, Borgata Casino
We don’t need crying when you lose
No crying 😢 in craps
Please stop with the $5 table bs. Vegas is basically the only place with those tables. I play in Philadelphia Mississippi, Biloxi Miss., Shreveport miss., and Oklahoma. I haven't seen a $5 table since around 2003. It's just not very realistic.
I’ve played Biloxi, Shreveport, Denver, deadwood, Kansas City, Oklahoma, Sacramento, etc, basically every place except east and all have had tables at $5 in last 3 years. 2003? Please stop. Obviously many went up to $10-15 during pandemic.
Also, take any $5 strategy just adjust amounts to your local table. No big deal.
You have gotta be kidding! Never happen.
Lol if thats all the money you can bet with just stay home and save your money
Why? Those with small bankrolls can enjoy the game as well
flawed strategy.....relies on too many long rolls to cover numbers while trying to score a reasonable gain, especially if you're starting at $5 table.
All strategies are flawed, depends on goal, risk tolerance, and budget
@@ColorUp - agreed. I cringed every time you hit a number where you had no action.....it's a slow death march toward the big red with the opportunity cost/reward ignored.
phiberoptik232 I don’t necessarily agree...it is extremely cautious start, but can take advantage of big rolls with very little risk up front. I’ve done so with it
Who can throw dice better u are bone thrower..?? Lol
Me of course :)
Now THIS is a strategy I COMPLETELY ENDORSE because you were collecting FIRST and pressing for the 2nd time a number hit!!!!!
And this would work MUCH BETTER with the Iron-Cross because ALL numbers WILL hit except the obvious one, so for a $10 table, I would have $15 on the number 5 and $18 EACH on the numbers 6 & 8 and $10 in the field, and after the 1st number hits and you collect, then for the 2nd number, I would press BOTH the 6 and 8 for 1 unit each, so if it's a MINIMUM Field bet win, I would give the dealer $2 from my BR - Bankroll - and press those numbers, and any OTHER number that hits - 6,8,2,12 - do the same thing except you won't have to put in any additional money from your bankroll and keep whatever was left over. Then the next time collect and then for the next hit, press the 5 up one unit, and then just keep repeating this process, and when your 5,6 and 8 numbers are QUADRUPLE the MINIMUM Field bet win, press your Field bet to $20, and keep doing that process ALSO!
