      Is anyone wondering why the coroner didn’t retrieve all the remains and have them cremated? Like why leave body parts in a car and send it to co-part? It’s kindof a slap in the face to the victim’s family.

    I agree with your decision on the Journey however, if you're not going to show it, don't thumbnail it. That was kind-of wrong. Very click-baity Randy and you are too good to rely on that sort-of thing. If anything, you drew more attention to something that you claimed to now want to draw attention to.

      @@RickMiddleton-1 Thanks Rick, I am glad I am not the only one. I really wasn't expecting that kind of thing with Randy and I hope it doesn't become a habit because I think he has done the click-baity stuff a few other times. I'd like to think he is better than that. I hope he doesn't move in that direction.
      By the way, is that a 54 Mercury Monterey or Ford Deluxe in your thumbnail? A good friend of mine that passed away a few years ago that was also a great neighbor had a 54 Monterey and your car looks a lot like it. His was sort-of hot-rodded, super rust-free car that had a 500 CU In Cadillac big block from the 70s transplanted in it and some custom body work- frenched headlights and taillights, painted bumpers, etc . Not necessarily fast but cool to drive and looked remarkable. I had the fortune of helping him put it back together. I have a lot of great memories with that car. I hope you enjoy yours! I wish I could have bought my friend's from his wife when he passed away.

      @@brian5o hello brian and sorry it took so long to respond. It's a 51 ford 2 door. My father and I collect and restore classic fords. That car has been a 9 year project. We chopped the top, and did all the metal work. Every bit of the car is metal. There is no fiberglass in the molded front or rear. It has the normal mods...shaved handles, recessed tail lights, and you can see the mods to the front end. We put a modern Lincoln interior in it and it has a mustang drivetrain.

    • @brian5o
      @brian5o 5 років тому +8

      I agree, not showing the inside of the Journey was respectful but, I really don’t think Randy showed the respect he’d like us to believe he did.
      Being respectful would have meant not showing the Journey at all. If it upset him that much, if he truly didn’t want to upset the family of the victims, that is what he would’ve done.
      Instead, what he did was thumbnail that exact car for this video with writing on it that I think he added in editing about body parts being in it.
      Randy is “playing” the good guy in the video but if so, if he truly didn’t want to show this car or upset the impacted family, why show it at all? Certainly, why show it as a thumbnail? And most importantly, why write on the car Bio Body Parts?
      I’ve seen the Copart photos. Granted, it’s possible that Copart COULD have changed this but I highly doubt they did. The car says BIO. That’s it. I also saw absolutely no body parts in it, just bone fragments and what looks like blood and crushed brain matter and fat.
      Randy used that photo in the thumbnail to get views. Granted, I didn’t personally see this but someone else said that previously, there was a hashtag something like this #makethat YTmoney. Like I said, I never saw it and may be remembering what I read not quite exactly but that was the jest.
      I like Randy but don’t like what he did here and honestly, stopped watching the video once I realized he was click-baiting. What Randy did here is like setting fire to a house, coming back with the fire truck later and talking about how great he was for putting out a fire he set.
      If you don’t want to draw attention to something that you think shouldn’t be shown, don’t f’in show it, especially in a click-baity thumbnail that you’re trying to use to get views/monetization/money. What he did here is much worse than just showing the damn car. He’s whoring out these 2 women’s death to make money while saying he doesn’t want to exploit them. That’s a textbook example of exploitation.

    • @RetroCheater81
      @RetroCheater81 5 років тому +1

      brain matter and fat are parts of a body and that is the same handwriting of the person that wrote BIO. It may have been better had he stopped the video before it showed the car and told everyone about it so that people who have never been to one of the auction sites before that things like this can come up sometimes.

    Randy I commend you for not airing the footage of that "Bio vehicle" but I have to question if you made the responsible decision to not air it why didn't you just remove it completely from the video instead of keeping the beginning portion of it in the video then having the "cut in" to discuss it and why use it as the "thumbnail" for the video? If your goal was to not draw attention to the subject then in my humble opinion those two things shouldn't have happened.
    I get it that you exercise full transparency in your content but this maybe was one time we didn't need to know every little detsil. You didn't want to draw attention to it but your choices in the video had the complete outcome you were trying to avoid. I am not trying to drag you down. @@rahuli6847 That's a great point- it certainly would have been better than what he chose to do. In my opinion, what he actually did was to exploit the tragedy with the thumbnail and then claim to be righteous by then not showing it. It was pretty crappy all around.
      I do hope that the damn truck driver sees charges from this. I have seen many carrying unsecured loads and you can almost picture them laughing as the sling stuff at the vehicles behind them. In my opinion, this should be worth 2 counts of manslaughter at the very least.

    Devil's advocate, Randy may have seen something that the photos don't show. I am all for him not showing the video of the car however, by the same reasoning, he should have completely cut it from the video including the click-bait thumb nail. That would have been the right thing to do for both the impacted families and for all of us that provide him with the video monetization he lives on by watching his content.

    On another note, I really feel like copart should not be allowed to have bio vehicles out there. That is a huge huge huge health risk... and if whatever company had it before? If its' that bad, gut the interior or whatever parts have bio on them and sell the rest. I get it's more work and less profit, but that shit ain't right to sell a car with bio and especially body parts.

      keyboard freedomfighter no, that is EXACTLY what it is. He knew that that thumbnail would catch people’s attention and earn him views, that’s why he used it.
      Someone else in comments actually posted the lot number, I looked it up. The car DOES NOT say BIO BODY PARTS on it. It says BIO only. I think Randy edited the thumbnail to add that for the sole reason of getting views by distorting the truth.
      Then, you take the fact that this one car on this 35 min video was the one that he CHOSE to post for it and it was the only car from the beginning of the video until then that he didn’t show. As soon as I knew I was click-baited, admittedly I stopped watching.
      He knew damn well what he was doing and in my opinion what he did was actually worse than showing the damn car. He talked about how moral he was in the video by not showing the inside after altering a photo specifically to get extra UA-cam traffic (and therefore money) and specifically exploiting what happened to those women for his own financial benefit while acting like he wasn’t. What he did here was disgusting, disingenuous and a down-right lie. He whored the deaths of these two women for his bank account. That’s what he did.

    I can't even begin to understand why that rock wasn't in a police evidence locker!
    Also, a crime scene investigator would make sure the body parts were not left behind. Something is fishy.

    • @brian5o
      @brian5o 5 років тому +3

      The rock is one thing but what about the "body parts." You'd think someone would have had to do something to dispose of them properly before this car made it to auction.... But then again, I had a cousin who killed himself in Texas by essentially shooting his own head off. His brother ended up being the one that cleaned everything up from his brother's ex-wife and kids' house. I was surprised about that, too. You'd think that law enforcement, the city, the medical examiner, somebody would step in and sort-of ensure that bio-hazardous waste and human remains were cleaned up and disposed of correctly without shifting that burden and responsibility on someone not trained to do such things.

    • @jimnielsen4076
      @jimnielsen4076 5 років тому +1

      No first responders clean vehicles or homes. The agency that transports the bodies will remove larger body parts. There are bio hazard cleaning services available in many areas. It is a very profitable business. The rock was both criminal & civil evidence. It most likely was at rest in the crash where it still is. My educated opinion is this car should have been crushed or the insurance should have had the bio hazard cleaned. They're selling the car so they could absorb the cost.
