Whelen WPS-2910 | Full Alert | Oklahoma City, Oklahoma | 3/25/23

At 12:00:06 the city of Oklahoma City conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Saturday, March 25th, 2023, the test consisted of about a 3 minute Alert.
So a couple months ago I came across this 2910 in OKC, which is odd because they only have 2810s. It replaced a 2805, and a year before that the 2805 had replaced a 2810. Pretty weird. But I figured I’d record this 2910 since it’s the only one in OKC and it’s a bit different than the 2810s they are known for

I went to the Aviation Festival in Norman. After that, we decided to go to Sam’s to get lunch. While my parents are getting their lunch, I decided to make a video of the 2910 ambience. And it sounded beautiful. As far I was happy, I realized that they were at 560 hz. And it was cool.

Yeah, it replaced a 2806 a few years ago
