We sang " Song of Democracy" in high school state competition and again at my high school baccelaureat in 1o61 at Ottumwa Iowa high school. Choir director was Mr Perry. I thought it was longer than this. The music was a book...so many pages. Good to hear it again after 61 years. Ours was a darn book. Took entire. Music class of 45 minutes to sing wntire thing. We must have done extended all verses version. 🎶🌟🎶
We did this in Illinois at my high school, Maine East, back in the 70s. Our Director was way ahead of his time! May he Rest In Peace.
