Etha 3 all day everyday, get the gamma core thats the same as their top of the line marker and reliability of planet. The gun just shreds and works every time you want to play .
That’s what I’m looking for had so many problems with a used proto matrix I got off OfferUp. When it work it shot amazing but it’s a bummer when your on the field and your gun stops working , forcing to rent
They both shoot great, different styles of shot for sure. Kind of up for debate as for reliability, but really you gotta just go hold both of them and decide for yourself which one feels better. Personally, the etha is more appealing because of PE’s reputation for reliability, but I’ve never seen either gun break or leak without an easy fix. The axe feels nicer just cause it’s full aluminum but if you wear gloves that doesn’t translate while you’re playing. You can tune the axe to be a bit more air efficient, but that’s negligible. Etha is easier to point, axe has a better trigger. You can go back and forth all day, just go hold them both and pick based on the hand feel.
Beting able to add the redline board to the Axe 2.0 makes it the better choice for me. The Ethan 3 IS easier to totally break down but that isn't necessary that often. I have an Empire Syx, PE 170R & an Axe 2.0 & the Empire boards are much better.
This is a very in depth well made review especially the spring bolt system that was a major factor for me. Gonna get my son the etha 3 as he wants to start tourney paintball, I’m in between the mini gs and the axe2.0 just to keep up on the advanced field when we play rec ball
To anyone thinking PE guns are better, remember that PE solenoids are near impossible to buy, and they DO fail, and PE solenoids cost 3x-5x more than Empire solenoids and they discontinue making them VERY quickly. Also PE helps keep the prices up by having a single preferred distributor in each country while Empire sells to everyone equally.
Axe 2.0 all day I run one with a redline board and ic pwr barrel easy to program and not only that it’s pretty easy to tune and parts are everywhere for these things most parts are cheap just please keep those eyes clean and you will get ball on ball shots solid marker I slide and dive and for the 4years of having it only had to change o rings once and fyi only use the provided lube cause using different will cause o rings to swell and make the gun leak proper lubing is important gotta love Rory can’t wait for another big game ❤
I have an AXE 2.0 I got middle of last year. It came from the factory with an issue ANS posted a video about 4 years ago with regard to turning on in programing mode right out of the box. I would have hoped/expected that Empire had better quality control checks before their product went out the door. Especially for a years old reported issue. That said, its a very easy fix. But problems out of box will always give me a bad taste in my mouth when considering future products and purchases from a company. What else is their QC missing? In this case I would choose the Etha 3 due to better QC by PE alone.
I have a gold axe 2.0 with a redline board and I just got to Etha 3. The 2.0 with the redline board is cool. I haven’t had any issues with the axe. But I do prefer my hands to have a bit more space, the axe 2.0 is a little too tight of a grip for my taste, since I have long arms. And I’m aware that speedball involves a tighter closer grip when holding a paintball gun, but I prefer spacing when holding a marker. So the Etha 3 fits my preferred hand distance when holding a paintball marker. 📿
Never had a problem with my axe 2.0 when I had it but in truth any gun will work as long as u take care of it but I did move up to the syx and a geo 4 last yr also got a macdev also next weekend getting my first luxe but axe 2.0 with a red line slightly beat the eitha
Having used both they both get the job done. Etha has a lot of problems with leaking and Everyone I play with that has it has the same problem. And axe will have board problems and is about twice as loud. Everyone will know where you are but it is easier to work on
Yea but some people want new , used can be a nice option but buying brand new gives some peace of mind especially for those who are entering paintball. Side note I'd shoot that Etha 3 over a macdev any day of the week and can guarantee it will be more reliable.
@@BAGofTALENT the Macdev infinity drive is incredibly reliable. Between 3 markers I have with Infinity drives, I've got over 500k shots, all original hard parts. My Prime XTS is my "always bring to the field" marker, because I know it wil ALWAYS work.
Planet eclipse all day long. Reliable for days and resale rates are good as well. I would suggest buying a used gun but if you have to have new, go Etha 3.
Just traded in my etah for a cs2. But botbing beats an etha especially if youre trying to do tournaments your first year. Just make sure to clean your eyss
Honestly even the planet eclipse packaging sucks now I remember being a kid watching all the new guns from them come out and it was all cool cases and here we are now and they stopped making half the gun lines i used to like
Axe 2.0 looks better IMO. But they are both equally reliable and capable markers. There is really no difference other than ergonomics, which is personal preference anyway. They both shoot the same BPS, are easily cleaned and maintained, and are super reliable. In a nutshell, this is really all modern markers in the $500+ range.
etek5? I had an etek2 back in the day that shot ultra evil all day no problems. Never broke a ball. You can pick up a used Axe for 250 though and I'll shoot an Axe at that price point.

Etha 2 for the win! 😅 Etha 3 of course!
My booty stank

Great video! Can you do more gun comparisons? My last order from your site came quickly! Thanks for all the cool stickers! Cheers!

Empire also has great support, Board goes bad, new board 2 years after buying it no questions asked other than sorry that happened to you.
Empire also only has like 2 guns, the axe and mini gs, whereas pe caters to the low end, mid range and high end market

Your website was buggy last night. I had problems ordering empire EVS. I ll try again
Yeah, the website has been glitching for a while now.
160r are 375$
Mac Dev XDR are 375$
In this economy someone needs to say it

Sad that the etha 3 don’t come with a nice case like the etha 1 & 2 did. Still an incredible marker

how did you “trade in” you etha? want to do the same for my mini gs

Can you do a review on infamous cs3 trigger haven’t seen anyone do that yet
It really feels like the rate of innovation and iteration in the paintball industry has really gone down.
It's a dying sport.
Blow forward bolt is from agd automag days only so much u can innovate 💡 on same thing

Etha 4 gonna have the new low pressure bolt?
Do you guys ship to México?
Is the Etha 3 more reliable and durable over the Axe 2.0 ?

Etha 3 💪🏼
Am getting a Kingmen what loader do I get
Don't waste your time with an axe or mini, Shoot Eclipse
I loved my axe 2.0 but can beat planets reliability
Axe is trash. I started with it and regret it. All empire markers are TRASH!!
lol LIES!!! Axe2.0 is the best marker you can buy for the money, it’s a much better gun than the Etha 3
