How to understand if a song is really special? I've probably listened to it 1000 times and every single time the song climax pulls strings out of me. Very powerful and emotional
I think I can boldly claim that this is the greatest and most stunning, jaw-dropping and beautiful climax of any song I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

i've been listening carefully to all the albums and ep's, including unreleased songs like "i need air" for the past few weeks, and i've come so far, i couldn't resist to add every song i heard in my NBT playlist, and i am a very picky person.
I fucking sear it never happened to me to enjoy every song of a band, and i don't even listen to much rock, now i only have to listen to their last album, but i alreaddy know it's going in my playlist, i'm so happy i found out abouot them

I rarely fanboy over modern bands but these guys just strike a chord with me. Haven't felt this way about a band since I discovered Zeppelin 16 years ago. I knew "Amsterdam" for like 2 years, it's one of my favourite songs ever. I never looked into them more for that entire time though. They're definitely in my top 3 favourite bands now, for a musically picky person like me, that says a lot for a modern band.
the bridge is INSANELY PERFECT
When I'm listening to this band, I can't do anything else I just have to sit and listen and absorb everything for a little while.

Idk the original meaning meant, but it felt like the loss of a parent you have conflicting feelings for - because they weren't good people/parent.
From my experience, that's a lot of people, especially this year. It really hits a nerve... even if that's not what it means.
Sometimes we need that nerve hit to feel more ourselves after.

I know Conors dealt with mental health issues like depression n has taken medication for it quite a few of their songs are about that struggle. I love them so much for bringing light to those struggles without drugs or alcohol.
I heard it for the first time in Barcelona's concert...it made me float....literally....I didn't feel something so strong since Creep...27 years ago.

When my girlfriend introduced me to Nothing But Thieves I arrogantly dismissed them as a "Muse Cover Band" for her generation. But this band has consistently surprised me, never more so than when I first heard the outro to this song!

I knew the drop/build up was coming, but I didn't expect it to be SO intense, and it clearly fits the different states of mind when you have a complicated relationship with your father.
I NEED to eventually hear this live. That would be the most incredible experience. I haven't heard a song that's made me feel like this in what feels like an extremely long time.
