In this first installment I sit down with PwP and author Frank Antonicelli and discuss his journey with PD diagnosis, meeting his MDS, and his life-changing experience of having DBS surgery in 2019. He has lived with PD since diagnosis in 2007 and has co-authored a book with his MDS Dr. Joe Green entitled "Embracing Parkinson's - A Personal Account of Acceptance and Healing." In order to gain access to the book and to see the full conversation, be sure to stick around for part 2! Hey Michael , I already listened to the whole interview and just wanted to say how much I appreciated it. I gleamed several points from him esp the part on not pushing through fatigue which I'm guilty of even right now! Ugh!! It's my #1 frustration with Parkinson's and Lewy body
That’s awesome! Yes he has some great insight and his advice as a PWP is better than I could provide with regard to fatigue due to his individual experience
@@parkinsonsdiseaseeducation Ya, it's a personal thing that only the sufferer can understand
Yes absolutely. It’s understandable in concept, but experience with dealing with fatigue is the best advice
@@parkinsonsdiseaseeducation True true !!
