Dil Chahta Hai

Here is another music video made in quarantine. It’s 3 minutes long and was shot on GoPro at Palolem Beach in South Goa, India where I have spent time over the past several winters. As many of my Palolem buddies know, this year I bought a bike there and took many glorious rides along the beach at sunset with the GoPro attached to various parts of the basket and handlebars. Most of the footage is from those rides. The song, Dil Chahta Hai (The Heart Wants), is from a 2001 Bollywood movie of the same name which was partially shot in Goa. It’s a coming-of-age romantic drama which has since become a cult classic and is available on Netflix. An English translation of the very cool and uplifting lyrics can be found by googling.
