Yeah I kind of went into this with no knowledge of this machine, so this was a lot of fun to make :P Thanks again for watching!

My god this is an incredibly high-tech machine. It really looks like something out of Star Trek or something, incredible! Hopefully not overly complex though, seemingly endless features!

There's no other way to say it, this is the best fucking sewing machine I've ever used. Just made a new hoodie, and it sews like butter. If your sewing addiction ever gets out of hand, I hope you end up with a machine like this. Hope you're having fun and making some new music buddy!

Always notice what foot to use. On just about all of the designer stitches your N foot would do your final finish justice. 😂

The N Foot is my favorite because the thread doesn't pull out of the foot when I move my project around. Good call :)

Have you tried a quick tap of the foot pedal? On my Husqvarna combo sewing/embroidery machine that will raise and lower the pressor foot. Very handy for keeping your hands on your fabric. All these companies copy each other. That's why I ask.

You can change a foot tap between a half stitch and a full stitch. I like when it always puts the needle down, so I keep it that way. You're super correct about the different brands, more than you might realize lol. Thanks for watching!

Hi, Can this machine sew through leather? I'm having a hard time deciding which one to buy, as I'm looking for a hobby machine that can do a little bit of everything ("regular" sewing, leather bag sewing/canvas straps, embroidery)...Maybe a little off topic but I was looking at the M380D model and wondering the same thing about that machine...

I'm very confident that it can since it has a steel chassis like the heavy duty machines. I'm just so used to using my Brother ST150HDH for leather. This machine is heavier and faster though, so maybe I'll do some leather videos with this.
If you're talking about garment leather (like deer skin), most machines can handle that, but for like 2oz or heavier, you'll want a beefier machine

The XJ1 is a lot cheaper now that the XJ2 is out, but still several thousand dollars. Worth every penny for sure :)

You’re sewing with your seam allowance in the wrong position in the machine. So the laser is doing nothing. The bulk of your fabric should be on your left not on your right under the harp
