I like this bait so much, I bought one of each color. The best thing other than it’s fish catching ability, it the bait is durable! I don’t trim the dorsal fin because my lakes and ponds are grass beds until Fall. I love throwing it out, letting it sink to the bottom, wait a couple seconds and start reeling it in. Bass clobber it!
I’ve be smokin em on the sleeper gill lately! I’m using a Megabass Destroyer BMG rod which has a powerful but slightly parabolic action that helps me not lose fish on the hook set
Yeah, it swims upright. The Berkeley ones are hard to get the correct action. It’s supposed to look like an injured bluegill. I repair pool filters, heaters, filters ect in NJ and work on Iaconelli’s pool. I asked him about those lures, since they have his name on it.
Umm show the sleeper gill slamming summertime bass. I don't want to see and hear a megabass advert.

First time out both of the eyes fell out. For ten bucks, I was disappointed, but the action is awesome.

Did they ever make a sleeper craw with a hook bigger than 3/0? Great bait but the hook is too small
Absolutely the sleeper gill has been getting it done down here in Florida ever since the bluegill spawn arrived!

20lb fluro he usually uses i like 15lb mono does the job unless you wanna be technical
