    I'm in the same boat. Started it in May 2020 and it's completely transformed my hair. My biggest regret is not getting on it sooner. Now adding micro needling and minoxidil to the mix. We'll see how it goes.

      Hi there. I've been receding since 2011. It got really bad a few yrs later when I was 17 when it deteriorated my appearance to the point no matter how i styled my hair i didnt look normal.
      Do u mind if i ask what country ur in and where u buy it from? N how much it is?
      Did it have any side effects for u? I heard the effects r extremely bad and they don't stop even when after u stop taking the medication.
      I got a hair transplant a year ago n it hasnt worked properly... Really dunno what to do. I'm only in my mid 20s

      Just a tip after doing micro needling for about one year - I was doing it all wrong. In order to see the full effects of micro needling, you need to penetrate and while others say you don’t need to bleed, I disagree with very little results after a year, I switched tactics and I can actually see the difference in a few short months already and where others say don’t apply minoxidil after micro needling, I am applying it right after and it really makes a difference. Once a week really good needling, 2 times a day minoxidil, and everyday finasteride will work. I experienced shedding after 3-6 months on finasteride. No more shedding now. Good luck.

    Nice video. I take the topical finasteride/minoxidil…….stuff started working very quickly. I noticed a bunch of tiny hairs sprouting one day when I looked in my rear view mirror. This took my by surprise because it was literally Day 5 when I noticed. 2 months in and them baby hairs are now full grown and filled in my temples,,,especially on my right side. Could not be happier with results. Only prob is the spray drys crispy….and that kind of sucks.

    • @a.f.s.3004
      @a.f.s.3004 2 роки тому +4

      @Jeffrey J I was prescribed 0.3% finasteride, 6% minoxidil. I spray one shot per temple, one in the middle of my head, and one on my crown. Today marks the 2 month mark. My hair looks significantly fuller than when I started. My stylist even commented. The only beef I have is with the spray…. You need to leave it in 4 hours and it drys crispy and makes your hair stick together. May switch to the pills. This stuff works,,,,had I known how well, I would have started a long time ago.

    Side effects may be irreversible and include persistent erectile dysfunction, depression, suicidal tendencies, loss of libido, anxiety, and other neurological issues (ie. memory loss, altered mental status). Calladministration of finasteride decreases social interaction and results in cognitive deficits, potentially through a cholinergic mechanism. Further studies are required to understand the exact link between the cognitive effects and the cholinergic system.

    Don't mean to sound rude but seems you started medication very late to the point where the hairline was pretty much gone. Yes some minor improvement but what i gather is if you take hair loss medication too late , ie too much hair-loss has occurred its very hard to get it back to your young youthful self. Suppose hair transplant is your best option at the point you're at unless the finasteride really works some miracles. However well done on making a video on this as hair loss is a very sensitive subject for men.

      MisterXiomai hi
      I really need your reply. Been shedding for years and I can say excessively. Two months on oral fin now, the first two weeks were slightly better and it's not an imagination, but after two weeks I started to shed tons of hairs😩 eve after I shower my hair, blow-dry it, when I try to come it again after a while still a lot of hair coming out!!!!!
      Now when would this excessive Shedding slow down or reduce? Please reply because this makes me anxious
