Japan is quite a beautiful country, I've been there in the city of Tokyo and it's just a lot different than other places I've been in, like the energy feels different.
I just stumbled upon your video. We may be living a regular life but I just get so much lonely vibes. The difference is you might be experiencing it away from the family but I feel so being with them. What a life always surrounded by walls!
I live in the US and in my state they have closed off the children parks as well with the “do not enter tape.” Also that underground storage in the floor was so cool. I would love something like that.
I have been working still as an essential worker in the US but I’m glad to have some more time to relax and put/find to other things I put on hold. I have been studying Japanese on my own for a couple of months and want to travel to Japan one day and seeing your videos inspire me to get there and travel wen the pandemic settles down. I also want to travel other places and learn more languages not just to help more on my future career (getting to the music buisness) but be exposed to beauty of the culture and countries I yet to know. Being in the US with all that’s been going on has been tired emotionally but I shouldn’t let that stop me to use the time I have now to progress on my goals. I’m saving money for a car but also hope to go back to Grad school for music and focusing on that. Great seeing a young woman like myself and seeing your story at the other side of the world and know I’m not the only one feeling insane being inside when I’m not at work.
Kelly I am so glad I found you again I am from the USA ( Savannah Georgia) I watched you for over a year than my computer crashed I had to get another one than I couldn't find you. The trees with the Flowers on them are so beautiful. You and your husband are so cute together. We were locked down for a while now we just have to were a mask everywhere we go. My name is Peggy I am 69 years young and watching UA-cam helps me pass time.hope you have a nice day .
Question: What's the little animation on your TV monitor at 19:46? Also, How much are those kinds of homes in the magazine? About $500K - $1Mil USD? Maybe $300K+ if out in the suburbs away from a big city? A good option may be to purchase an older traditional house (if such a thing is possible to come by in the Tokyo metro area or prefecture. I'm sure developers want to scoop them up and demolish them), then remodel it over time to make some areas, like the kitchen or bathroom, modern. Then you'll have modern with a more traditional feel for a lower price. Also, when you're on Pinterest, search "tiny balconies". There is lots of great small balcony inspo under that tag to inspire you to make your balcony as lux or cozy as you want. Also, if you're not already on Roomclip (app) you can create a profile on there and even if you don't post pics of your own space, you can create multiple folders (some of mine are 'kitchen' 'color pallet' 'zen' 'cozy space' 'furniture', etc.) and save pics from other people's homes for inspo for your own. There are a lot of traditional style with modern interior elements on Roomclip. Also, you guys should be wearing masks! Lol. At least bring them with you, even on solo adventures in case you encounter someone - you're probably doing that now though. Hope all is well still (3 months later). Cheers!
It must be really crazy there in an apartment, we live on 120 acres in Australia so our family is not really feeling the restrictions, we use zoom or skype to talk to friends and family...I send hubby to the grocery store. Yesterday I visited my mum to set her up for a zoom meeting as her sister is 80 years old today. My first outing since 13th March. love watching you make your brekkie lunches etc..Stay safe
Had to watch this twice. Your calming voice put me to sleep as I haven't been sleeping properly x I feel so much better and I actually love your visions in this
I love the homes down there it is my dream to live in japan one day I love that you teach new words in Japanese cause I’m studying it I love you videos
Really great content once again! You are so fortunate to have recordings of your childhood in that era where there were no easy access to video cameras.
So how much do those western style houses in the catalog generally range from in cost? Is it possible to request for them to do a western granite/marble countertop style bathroom rather than the cramped/less modern looking japanese style bathroom?
You two make such a cute couple. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch. I really look forward to them. I also love how you explain Japanese concepts and philosophy.
I think if you extend your search range beyond Tokyo anywhere you'd be likely to find more spacious residential properties at more affordable prices. Are you focused hard on Tokyo area?

Kelly Chun, I'm Canadian but don't scare a brother with such a big 🏡. My uncle use to ⚒ for NHK as an executive for the English documentaries so he could afford it. I'm enjoying your Chanel. Keep it 👆
1:51 The message is nice... but it is simply not true at all. Sometimes, people are too poor to afford a certain school, are discriminated against too much for them to achieve what they would have wanted, sometimes they simply don't have the physical capacities that their dream job requires. If you can't afford school, even if you try your hardest, you will have less opportunities of being the next Jeff Bezos than if your parents can afford all the books, classes, courses, private teachers and loans you need. If you are a black muslim woman in the US, becoming president will be more difficult than if you're a white christian male. If you have very poor eyesight, chances are you won't be able to make a living piloting fighter jets. I'm not saying it is impossible, far from it. But "where there's a will, there's a way" was invented by priviledged people to justify their situation and never address the fact that they had it easier than others. (Not saying they had it easy. It was difficult for them. Just saying it wasn't as difficult as if they came from a different background)
That is 100% not true. Do you know how many amazing icons in our lifetime have started from nothing?? Look it up and you'll be surprised. They told Beethoven he could never play music and guess what...they said we will never have a black president and we did.... If you talk to yourself as if you're broke all the time and you'll never achieve your dreams because of this, this, and that, then yes, you're right. It's impossible. I started from 0. no money, no motivation. I told myself that every day. My parents weren't and still aren't rich and I still found ways to move to this country because I knew I could do it if I searched for options and ways. Be kind to yourself.
I'm so happy I found your channel! I like how you keep it real and down to earth. I'm looking to move to japan hopefully by the fall or winter. Applied to a couple teaching jobs, but I would love to hear how you made your dream of going a reality

I had that type of cherry blossom tree in my front yard growing up! They're apparently called "kikuzakura" in Japanese - which I think might translate to chrysanthemum cherry blossom but I didn't look up the kanji so I'm just guessing based on sound
KELLY, I have been wanting to also do the vision board in WEEKS!!!!! I have yet to figure out how to create one (Materials, if I should do one online or something physical) but I didn't realize that making one online is so much faster, easier and more accessible haha, thank you so so much. Kelly - I love your videos, but please, please be more careful. We are all at risk for this virus and I know that you've had health problems including pneumonia from what I recall. Every time I see one of your videos and you touch so many things in public places like a grocery store, it scares me. You are so young and just got married. It would be incredibly tragic if anything were to happen to you. This is hard for all of us, but please take good care of yourself.
I've been to Japan two times and i loved seeing all of the food in the windows to show what was being sold 😍 What do you think of Melon bread? Ryuji is so adorable! 'Divorce!' 'NO!' LOL! I live in the country here in the states, so the quarantine isn't that bad. I'm learning what it takes to home school my 2 kids and find it a pretty good challenge. I'm also discovering how large I can make my garden until it makes me go completely insane! (Which hasn't happened yet.😋)

Watching your youtube made me feel normal again i dont wTch tv only Netflix and hulu . it was terrible to see people with mask at grocery store . I could see the emotion on your face . and I pray in Jesus name . you will pull through this with health and prosperity, God never. gives us more then we can handle. And you my friend went to a whole different country alone. Which makes youa very strong person in my eyes. Thank you for sharing your life with us. And your marriage. As always very enjoyable. How does it feel to have been kawii all your life? LOL . Beginning to think you have been smart all your life also. Very good advice and motivation. I would add one thing. That is keep a childlike feeling no matter what. Balance that with the adult things and adult dreams. But you absolutely do this. Evidence by the fact that with the drawers you told Ryuji you were "not a child"; yet when you saw the hill you wanted to roll down it like a 5 year old. LOL. Blessings and Peace.
Hey Kelly! Amazing vid as always :) I wanted to ask you about teaching in Japan, specifically: do you have to be a citizen from an english speaking country to be able to get a job? Do you know any teacher in Japan that wasn't from an english speaking country? Thanku so much
I don´t know why... maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I don´t like the outside of the houses you showed us. It´s probably the foam bricks. Love the inside though
This just reminded me how I was supposed to work on creating a schedule for myself since I no longer have any structure to my life after being laid off, haha. Whoops.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! It really supports my videos! I would love to hear what you're grateful for that's NOT a physical thing.

@@KellyMorita Trello is exactly what I was looking for! But I'll try both of them out, thank you so much

HELLO ? How or where is that voice coming from; I would be so freaked out if I was there & didn't know what that was! That is so cool though that they can keep U up on what is occuring even if U do not have tv or media resource! THANK U 4 another video BSAFE BE HEALTHY
Evidence by the fact that with the drawers you told
Ryuji you were "not a child"; yet when you saw the hill you wanted to roll down it like a 5 year old. LOL. Blessings and Peace.
That house looks so awesome! What a great vlog. Did they say how much it was?
No but it’s for rich ppl according to a Ryuji lol
Kelly Morita LOl, I get that. So many homes here are like that now too.
That Glee reference in first 5 mins! Respect ✊ haha :D
And interestingly you pointed out your balcony :D Sharla Just spruced hers up as well.
Omg, do you have a recipe for those pancakes? 😋
you telling ryuji 大丈夫 was so cute lmao
Some of these house in the book your looking at, look more like British houses and not every house in the UK has a garage. Some do some don't.
That’s so interesting!
Kelly Morita oh and our houses are made out of bricks
子供の時かわいすぎwwww
楽しい動画でした!
You got Goya Products in Japan!
Hey Kelly! Amazing vid as always :) I wanted to ask you about teaching in Japan, specifically: do you have to be a citizen from an english speaking country to be able to get a job? Do you know any teacher in Japan that wasn't from an english speaking country? Thanku so much
Recipes please! Cooking videos needed!
Just discovered your channel, been binge watching since. Amazing quality and quantity, look forward to more. Blessings from Australia.
I also decided to make a vision board during this
Yay!!
It keeps you busy, and make you feel creative. 😁
I don´t know why... maybe it just takes some getting used to, but I don´t like the outside of the houses you showed us. It´s probably the foam bricks. Love the inside though
looks really happy! jealous^^ 💕
Good video 👍👍👍😁
it hasnt even been 22 minutes since the video has uploaded!
This just reminded me how I was supposed to work on creating a schedule for myself since I no longer have any structure to my life after being laid off, haha. Whoops.
