We need Uguarte but United Fans should not be frustrated that INEOS are walking away from deals. It will help us to not just buy players but sell as well. Reckless spending is the reason why United can't move players on. It won't be wise to keep making the same mistake.

Nah no way is he the exact profile he does the ball winning side well but he doesn’t take the ball off the back 4 or carry it well it was asking a lot of Mainoo. Top top level guys can do both

We've got Mainoo who is good on the ball. We've got Martinez who can carry the ball forward a little and pick out a good pass.
What we don't have and need more than anything is a player who specializes in what Ugarte is good at.

In addition, sign a 20-23yrs old unknown CDM who's potential is very good, preferably a 6 footer.

We need ugarte more than we needed zerksie. Casemeiro can't continue to run that midfield we need a CDM more than any other position
@leonardkabasa1902 Casemiro couldn't run a bath. Needs offloading. Forget Ugarte. Concentrate on the kids. The kids won everything last season and it's time to reward that. We ain't winning the prem this year or next, but we can get the team steady with a young team and be there or thereabouts in a few years.

Can’t really sell Casemiro if nobody wants to legitimately buy him at the price United needs and the wages Cas wants. Not as simple as a bunch of United fans think for some reason

We need a CDM, a left back, and a center back. Amass can be subbed in next season at about 80mims when we're wining. Collier does not cut it for me yet.

i like that United walk and don't be kept hostage. Berge? don't know him. Only issue/ concern for me is he comes from a club that is relegated... How is that mid range?
I would look to sign Danish midfielder, Morten Hjulmand, from Sporting Lissabon (Lisboa). He's been an absolute beast on the central midfield and still has a lot of potential. He's a much better signing that Berge will ever be. He might have a higher pricetag, but in the long run, we would have to spend more money on the position, if Berge is to come in. I would keep McTominay over signing Berge any day of the week.

You've got to be willing to walk away from a deal and move on to an alternative.
The alternative is overpaying, which united have routinely done and must stop doing. See for example, Antony.

In business when you’re walking away from a deal it’s not always the end anyway. Ugarte might try to force a move internally which may cause PSG to lower the asking price. If not, we can do a deal with Rabbiot, Berge, retain Amrabat and hijack the Fofana deal.

I think Ineos banked on Saudi being all over Casemiro, to raise funds, but no interest in him. Then there's Hannibal, AWB, Lindelof, Pellistri, Eriksen, Sancho and a few others that are proving difficult to sell to.

We are paying the price for previous reckless spending with players on crazy wages. To say that INEOS are the same as Glzers is mad. We have now got a professional structure in place and won’t waste money on short term buys on older players like Casemiro or totally over pay for the like of Anthony
Can't sell players nobody wants. The three that would make a huge difference are Casemiro, Sancho & Antony. Nobody wants them. Or, the fees anybody would pay wouldn't cover their book value so we'd take a hammering on FFP, AND we'd have to pay a good chunk of their wages because nobody would pay them even half what we're paying them. So we're going to have to continue spending 20% of our entire budget on 3 players who are of little use to us, and hopefully move them on next summer.
