- Hey everyone,
I just had an amazing experience at IIT Mandi in Himachal Pradesh for an international conference that took place from 5th to 8th June 2024. It was my first time presenting at a conference, and I wanted to share my experience with all of you.
The conference was spread out over 3 days, and there was so much to see and do. I got to attend some really insightful sessions and also had the opportunity to present my own work. It was definitely a bit nerve-wracking to present for the first time, but the supportive environment at IIT Mandi made it a great experience.
Apart from the conference, I also got to explore the beautiful campus and surrounding areas. The scenic views of the Himalayas were absolutely breathtaking, and I even managed to squeeze in a short hike during my free time.
One of the highlights for me was getting to meet and connect with other researchers and professionals from around the world. It was inspiring to hear about their work and share ideas. The networking opportunities at the conference were invaluable, and I made some great connections that I hope to keep in touch with.
Overall, my time at IIT Mandi was incredibly rewarding. From the academic insights to the stunning location, it was an experience I won't forget. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of this conference.
