This is the type of video that really resonates with alot of young dudes trying to figure life out. Especially valuable information, from a real dude, in a sea of fitness influencers who don't give a damn about their viewers.

      Mr. Bugenhagen,
      Please, please, please....
purchase Kneesovertoesguy's training systems. I have every confidence you will find very great benefit in them. He has saved many clients from having knee replacement or even such severe fates as being wheelchair bound.
His methods have changed my life. I have had severe knee problems (and surgeries) causing very limited ability. I have never bought anything from him, I have simply studied his videos and gradually and carefully applied what he teaches.
Will I ever break world records? Certainly not. However I am capable of things I would have sworn for years I would never ever be capable of.
I am forever grateful for his free content and cannot recommend him enough.
If you apply his interventions consistently, the effects will accumulate overtime and cause enormous increases in quality of life, and almost certainly grant you knee ability that you had previously written off.
I wish nothing but the most robust health possible for you.
      Stay healthy, stay positive,
      and always remember....
      IT'S A MIIIIND SETTT!!!!
We're all gonna make it, brah.
      Peace.

Welcome back, Rick. I honestly think leaving WWE behind is the best thing that could have happened to you. Even though I obviously don't know you in real life, it feels like you had lost a part of yourself during your time in WWE, and now it looks like that part is coming back in strides.
I've been through some rough times, and am still going through them in some regard, but you're absolutely right that just having the spirit to push through, to hold onto your values and continue earnestly at 100% effort will see you through.
Good luck, and thank you for all the bulbous, striated, voluptuous inspiration over the years ❤

You're right about the changing nature of the platform, just don't let it get to your head. UA-cam is pretty known for screwing content creators over the years with radical changes, and many of them tried to adapt with gimmicks and clickbaits to stay afloat only to lose all their viewers. The key here is that you'll be alright as long as you keep true to yourself, doesn't matter if you talk in a car for half an hour of deadlift for thirty seconds, people will watch not because of what you do but because it's YOU doing it.

Don't be too harsh on yourself. I understand what you mean about having regrets, we all have them. At the same time, you've got to pick one route at one point and it seems like you've naturally gravitated towards strength training and wrestling. You might have been another Hendrix, sure. But you might not've been one just as well. Meanwhile, you're easily one of the top fitness influencers and an absolute horse of a man. It's something most of us aspire to be. You've got it. Take time to appreciate that you really are at the top of the game that you've picked. You gravitated towards fitness because you loved it. No matter how you look at it, you are a success. Don't be too harsh on yourself for not becoming successful at every hobby you've ever picked because that is just not possible.

I've been watching for like 4+ years now and one of my favorite things about this channel is how you always talked about the ups and downs whether it related to finances, career, or physiques and lifts. Then the viewer subsequently got to see you accomplish your goals through hard work and passion. I'm sure myself and many of the other viewer know you'll bounce back from any troubles. Just need Consistency, Patience, and a little bit of Passion for what you're doing

Glad you’re getting back Bugez, I do want to say that it has felt different the last few years which may be a factor in the reduced views. I haven’t felt the intensity, hell I don’t know if I’ve even heard the word “mindset” in a long time. It wasn’t all just about having horse legs, and the hilarious edits or posing. Those were nice variety for the usual content. But the reason why I think a lot of people kept coming back the main course the intensity, the passion, and the screaming that we’re breaking our barriers. These last two videos have brought back that old feeling.

I don't think you watched the video.
Bugez is saying that he doesn't want to be scared of trying new things and not worry about the view count. Chasing after some formula that gave him success in the past is the regretful, reminiscent mindset he's trying to avoid. He also ends the video saying, "It's all about the mindset" repeatedly, but the mindset has evolved past lifting heavy weights into a code of living with gratefulness.

    Inspirational. Seriously.
I really appreciate the candor here. I’m at a precipice of my own where I’ve decided to take a risk and make a huge career change from a comfortable software job.
I worry everyday that I made the wrong decision, but I know I’m following my heart. Even still, the fear of failure is crippling at times, but I just have to keep at it.
Listening to you reflect on what you might consider “failures” felt incredibly validating. Knowing these struggles are common fills me with the feeling that all this is worth it, and I’ll come out the other end of things stronger for it.

You’re gonna figure this one out too boogz. Just be yourself. I personally think you’re a friggin brain sack of knowledge so share that in the shorts all the stuff you’ve learned over the years and you’re gonna do great. I think the reason why Sam sulek is growing like crazy is because he’s a breathe of fresh air in the UA-cam fitness world, people like him for how real he is. but the truth is boogs you’ve always been that dude! I bet if you took us with you lifting and just talked about all the different things that go on in the mindset than you’ll kill it. You obviously have the charisma and the personality. Mr. Bugenhagen,
      Please, please, please....
purchase Kneesovertoesguy's training systems.

One thing I love about the BOOGZ is that you don't change with the trends of lifting-based entertainment. Lifting UA-cam today is rife with drama commentators, flashy celebrity gyms, overdone edits with cliche b-roll, and general vanity coupled with negativity. That's why the only lifting UA-camr I watch is Eric, no cookie cutter/johnny bodybuilder bs, just solid videos. KEEP IT UP ERIC

In my humble opinion, Eric Bugenhagen is one of the most unique online fitness personalities out there.
You get a unique blend of comedy, action, and raw intensity! As well as some good strength and fitness tid bits here and again.
I don’t necessarily agree with ALL of his lifting methodologies, but he seems to get results.
Having said that, his resistance band, warm-ups for shoulders and traps has saved my joints, a ton of pain and discomfort.
I love his unique approach to the online fitness community that is already oversaturated with the same material.
I do believe Bugenhagen to be one hell of a good coach. He helped me understand that getting strong was more about building a skill set and less about doing endless reps.
Eric Bugenhagen will no doubt, bounce back from all of this and come back strong!

I don't ever comment on much but I worked as an executive director for a behavioral health company and one of patterns I always noticed was clients inability to change or welcome change. Humanity has a fear of it, naturally so because with it comes plethora of challenges and potential adversity but it gave me a lot of perspective on the importance of being open to it. Just like your lifting, you are adaptible and you've taken on different styles over the years to learn a new growth format. It's about applying that same princples to damn near everything we do in life. You're a solid one.

And as a life long pro wrestling fan I said wow this guy would be a star in WWE. So when you signed with WWE I was really exited for you. Then i saw you with Shin playing guitar and getting over and thought holy shit its happening! I dont know if you are done with wrestling but i still believe that you can be at the top of the business.Your personality is perfect to be a top guy. I always wanted to see you ranting promos in the way you rant in your videos. Screaming about mindset etc. Anyway hopefully we see you again in pro wrestling. I dont really follow Aew these days but i would switch it on to see what you doing bro. Maybe in AEW you could be your true self and then make your eay back WWE! Also you are correct.
